Chapter 267 - 267: Change of plans

"How come? Isn't that Arslan?" Idan couldn't believe his eyes. In front of him, hand in hand with a girl, was a guy who looked remarkably like Arslan.

Idan stood stunned until they disappeared around the corner of the building.

"Milla said this morning that Arslan is busy today.… Did she really mean Arslan's date with this woman?" muttered Idan, remembering the morning conversation with Milla.

Instead of rushing after Arslan, Idan turned and looked at the fox cub lying on his shoulder.

"Coco, would you be so kind as to follow this couple and take a couple of photos," Idan asked Coco.

Coco stretched lazily and reluctantly looked at Idan.

"This guy is the younger brother of the Mistress, Coco," it was only after saying that that Idan noticed Coco's mood change instantly. She quickly jumped up, looked in the direction where the couple had disappeared, then looked at Idan, nodded and, opening the rift, disappeared.

"Ned, plans are changing. I need to return to Limbo and bring Arabel back urgently so that she can meet with her younger brother and sort out this issue. I gave her my word, and I will keep it," said Idan, addressing Ned. Ned immediately nodded in agreement.

"I also ask you to stay and keep an eye on Arslan unnoticed," Idan continued. Ned, although he was not eager to stay, but wanted to return to Limbo with Idan and see his ancestor, nevertheless nodded, not refusing Idan's request.

"Don't worry, Ned, this isn't our last trip to Limbo. We'll visit there more often, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to meet Geminia," Idan assured him, sensing through the contract what Ned was feeling and immediately understanding what he was thinking.

Ned glanced at Idan, nodded again, and headed in the direction where the couple had gone to complete Idan's task of keeping an eye on Arslan.

Initially, Idan planned to leave the city and only then go to Limbo, so that Arabel would be with him when he returned. He wanted no one to ask questions about how Arabel ended up in the city.

However, due to the circumstances, Idan decided to act quickly and abandon this plan. He also gave up on the idea of returning to the hotel.

Finding a quiet alley and making sure that no one was watching him, Idan waited for Coco to return, then moved to Limbo.

Coco, having completed Idan's task, soon emerged from the rift, landed neatly on his shoulder and handed him the photos she was holding in her paws.

"Great job," Idan praised Coco and patted her.

Taking the photos, Idan examined them carefully once more and made sure that it was indeed Arslan, there could be no mistake.

Discarding all the thoughts that began to fill his mind and make various assumptions, Idan immediately gave the command to the system to teleport him to Limbo.

Leaving Ned to keep an eye on Arslan, Idan and Coco were absorbed into the rift and transported to Limbo as soon as the countdown ended.

Idan, who was already used to teleportation, endured the transfer without any difficulty and, feeling solid ground under his feet, opened his eyes.

Just like last time, he found himself next to a mysterious door inside the temple, where they had set up their "anchor".

"Oh, Idan, are you back?" exclaimed Eulalia, who, noticing Idan's appearance, came out to meet him, holding Izzy in her arms.

"Hi, Senior Eulalia, I'm back, — Idan greeted Eulalia. "Where are the others? Where is Arabel?"

"Master and Sierra are currently busy forming their first Beast Souls, and Arabel left with Geminia," Eulalia replied.

"Don't worry, Geminia has probably noticed your arrival, so Arabel will be here soon," Eulalia added.

"Good. So Master and Sierra both decided to form their Beast Souls? How are they doing?" Unlike Eulalia and Nemo, Milica and Sierra tried to create their Beast Souls without the help of soul crystals.

Milica and Sierra were representatives of the highest realm, so it was not difficult for them to understand the instructions and try to achieve success on their own.

"Lucinda? And the news about Arabel and me?" Idan frowned slightly.

"Where's Ned?" — Geminia asked, not sensing his presence.

"Ned stayed in our world to run a small errand. Don't worry, it's not a dangerous assignment. I asked him to look after one person while I go get Arabel," Idan quickly explained Ned's absence.

"Okay, let's sit down and talk for a bit," Geminia suggested, walking over to the table and inviting Idan to sit down.

Geminia's invitation to sit down and talk made Idan a little uneasy.

After listening to Geminia, Idan sat down at the table opposite her.

Eulalia joined the conversation, and Geminia did not object to her presence.

Noticing Idan's expectant look, Geminia began the conversation by saying: "We're going to talk about Arabel's current condition."
