Chapter 266 - 266: Walking around the city

When Idan returned to the hotel, he changed his appearance again. Ned, without hesitation, returned to the form of a dark fox. Looking at him, Idan didn't know how to react or what to say. The image of Sierra that Ned had become was already firmly embedded in his mind.

Coco took the egg and went somewhere and hasn't come back yet, but Idan wasn't worried about her and the egg. He trusted Coco completely in this matter.

As for Rizzy, the baby has not yet shown any desire to drink again after the last blood intake.

Idan turned on the water and decided to take a relaxing bath. While the water was being collected, he checked the number of system points that had accumulated during this time.

If he wasn't there when they came for him, suspicion would only increase. So he decided to stay for a day or two before going to Limbo to pick up Arabel.

Moreover, Idan was waiting for a call from Milla to arrange a meeting with Arslan.

Idan fell asleep alone on a large bed, and when he woke up in the morning, he found two foxes sleeping peacefully next to him, snuggled close to him.

He didn't have any important things to do, so he decided to lie down for a while without waking the two.

"It's time to get up," he told the two foxes, got up, and, putting on simple, comfortable casual clothes, decided to cook breakfast.

Groceries had already been ordered in the luxurious room, and exclusive Limbo beast meats were stored in Idan's vault.

Having prepared a real feast for the three of them, Idan was pleased with the progress in cooking skills. There wasn't much left before the third level.

Idan also began to realize that for further growth after reaching the third level, he and Arabel would need better and more specialized kitchen supplies.

Soon two "children" came to have breakfast.

Coco didn't bring an egg with her. Idan didn't know where she had hidden it.

After feeding them, Idan started washing the dishes when his smartphone, which he had left on the table this morning, rang.

Already knowing who was calling, Idan wiped his hands dry and picked up the phone.

"Hello, Ethan?" came Milla's voice on the other end of the line.

"Yes, Milla, it's me," Idan replied.

"I hope I'm not distracting you?"

"No, I'm just done."

"Okay, then I'll get down to business. I talked to the Guild Leader Arslan, and he agreed to meet with you. The only question is, when do you want to meet?" — Milla got to the point of her call.

"Let me think for a bit. I have plans today and tomorrow, so why don't I call you the day after tomorrow and tell you the exact time? I hope your Leader won't mind?" suggested Idan after a moment's thought.

"Phew... okay, I'll let the Leader know. And if you had asked to meet today, I don't think it would have worked. Leader Arslan is busy today," Milla replied.

"Hmm… That's how. Okay, thanks a lot, Milla," Idan said.

"You're welcome," Milla replied. "Then that's it. Bye."

"Goodbye," Idan said goodbye and ended the conversation.

"Thanks to Milla, we only have to wait a little longer, and we can go to Limbo and take Arabel with us," Idan mused, looking at the screen of his smartphone.

"Okay, guys, get ready, we'll go for a walk around the city soon," he said, addressing Ned and Coco.

About twenty minutes later, Idan, accompanied by Ned and Coco, snuggled on his shoulders, left his luxurious room. Since Coco was only visible to Idan and Ned, no one paid any attention to her. However, Idan's attractive appearance as Ethan attracted the attention of many of the hotel staff, who began to whisper while looking at him.

Ignoring these women, Idan left the hotel with Ned and went for a walk around the city without any specific goals.

In the afternoon, they found a small working eatery and decided to have a snack there.

After lunch, walking through the streets of the city, Idan remembered that he had not seen Arabel for more than three days. To please her, he decided to buy a small gift. Although most of the residents had left the city, the shops were still open.

In one of the souvenir shops, Idan saw snow-white earrings in the shape of ice crystals with a mysterious blue stone, which immediately attracted his attention. Ignoring the price and other jewelry, he bought these earrings without hesitation and asked the seller to pack them.

Satisfied, he left the store and was about to head back to the hotel when he noticed someone familiar out of the corner of his eye. Idan stopped and looked in that direction, and was surprised to recognize Arabel's younger brother, Arslan.

But what surprised him even more was that Arslan was walking hand in hand with some beautiful girl Idan hadn't seen before.
