Thus, the smoke was likely a result of the explosion in the underground tunnel that backdrafted to this point. Yan Fei finally confirmed that this was another entrance to the cave within the cliff.

Besides this entrance, the Drone had not “seen” smoke rising from anywhere else, which meant that this was the only entrance to and from the cave. All Yan Fei had to do now was to wait here for the militants escorting the hostages from Dream Island.

Jim led his men through the rugged cave, tormented by the smoke that continued to fill the area, almost driving them mad. They breathed the dust produced by the explosion, choking and coughing incessantly, their eyes reddened by the smoke to the point of barely seeing anything. However, after half an hour of difficult climbing, they finally saw light ahead and knew they had reached the exit.
