Chapter 1005: Chapter 403 Information Reproduction_3 Chapter 1005: Chapter 403 Information Reproduction_3 The underground dark river was pitch-black, with only the light from Yan Fei's diving suit breaking the darkness. If it were an ordinary person entering this dark river, they would have already panicked due to the darkness and disorientation. However, Yan Fei had already used quantum radar to draw a 3D map of the underground conditions of Beijing and stored it in the Auxiliary Brain. So even though he was diving more than a hundred meters deep in the underground dark river, Yan Fei didn't feel the slightest bit nervous.

All he had to do was follow the directions indicated on the 3D map that appeared in his mind. With the engine's help, Yan Fei moved very quickly underwater, and along the way, he encountered several large fish and snake attacks, the likes of which he had never seen before. However, Yan Fei was so strong that he easily killed these fish and snakes.

Luckily, the underground dark river was very spacious, with no overly narrow places and no sharp reefs, so Yan Fei could dive through unobstructed. He dived in the dark river for over twenty minutes and, according to the data from the 3D map, found he was almost five kilometers away from the Quadrangle Courtyard where he lived.

Suddenly, Yan Fei discovered an upward-sloping branch tunnel, which was the direction indicated by the 3D map. He immediately entered the branch and swam upwards, soon finding a pitch-black passage that emerged above the water surface. He left the underground dark river below and continued along the dark passage ahead, finding at its end an ancient and decayed mechanical stone door. He pushed down the door and entered the tunnel inside.

This was a tunnel opened up by someone unknown, but it was obvious that it had been abandoned, with rats scurrying everywhere and spider webs lining it. The environment inside was extremely harsh. If Yan Fei had opened his diving suit, he would have found the air to be filthy and full of various harmful bacteria and viruses; it was not fit for human habitation. But it was precisely because of the protection of the custom-made diving gear that Yan Fei dared to enter such a hostile environment.

Following the directions of the Auxiliary Brain's 3D map, Yan Fei easily passed through this large underground complex that was akin to a maze. This complex was directly beneath The Forbidden City, and Yan Fei knew this must have been a passageway for escape or a warehouse for treasures built by some dynasty, which explained the many mazes here. If someone without knowledge entered, they would likely be trapped forever, never to escape.

But the maze's 3D map had long appeared in Yan Fei's mind, so he found the correct direction to move forward without any hesitation. Yan Fei's task tonight was to take out Yang Liu, and he didn't want any complications. Even if this place was indeed a treasure hoard full of gold and jewels, Yan Fei wouldn't glance at it. With his current wealth, such so-called treasures could not draw his attention.

Yan Fei went forward following the directed path and soon reached the end of the tunnel, finding several massive rocks blocking the way. Each of these rocks weighed at least a hundred tons and they effectively sealed the passage, leaving no way out for those inside and no entry for those outside. However, to Yan Fei, who had Universal Space at his disposal, this wasn't a problem at all.

Yan Fei pressed his hand on the rocks, putting them into Universal Space, then ran forward in an extremely short time before retrieving the rocks and still blocking the tunnel end to prevent the underground passage from collapsing. By doing this, Yan Fei moved from inside the tunnel to the outside, with the massive rocks still blocking the way behind him. He operated repeatedly and quickly passed through the blocking rocks to reach the outer passage.

Yan Fei immediately heard a rumbling sound ahead and discovered a rusty iron door, behind which was a roaring subway train passing by–he had entered the subway tunnels of Beijing. Yan Fei had long used “Dream” to probe the tunnel's situation and knew there were no surveillance cameras installed here; thus, he pushed open the iron door and entered the tunnel, quickly moving forward in the indicated direction.

Yan Fei moved two kilometers along the tunnel, encountering two subway trains along the way. However, he timely hid himself in the shadows of the buildings to the side, so no one detected him. Then, Yan Fei found another rusty iron door, filled with construction debris.

Using Universal Space once more, Yan Fei moved the debris behind him, clearing a path forward. He moved quickly in this obviously abandoned tunnel, reaching the end after another two hundred meters. At the end of the tunnel, there was a small hole. Knowing this was the direction he needed to proceed, Yan Fei removed his diving suit and began to adjust his muscles and skeleton, making a massive change to his physique so he could just barely pass through the small passage.

The end of the passage turned out to be another underground tunnel filled with spider webs, a passage that had clearly never been discovered by anybody. Yan Fei put on his diving suit again and started moving quickly through the tunnel in the guided direction. Even in utter darkness, Yan Fei felt no concern, as he was on the correct path.

As Yan Fei was passing through this passage, diving along the bottom of another underground river, the Auxiliary Brain suddenly sent Yan Fei a message: “Special item discovered, essential for drone upgrade!”
