As the car entered the city, the two young men still hadn’t recovered from the incident with Nancy Taylor.

Especially Briar Henderson, who was truly frightened by today’s events and now felt somewhat embarrassed to look at the two of them.

"Peter, why didn’t you bring Nancy into the city?" Edward Martin asked Peter Brown.

"What materials do you need? I’ll get them."

Briar Henderson asked loudly, "Yinyang Wood."

"What is that?" Edward Martin asked.

"It’s a kind of wood that has been buried in cold and dark places for at least thousands of years. You won’t be able to find it easily, it depends on luck."

Both of them knew that they were out of their depth regarding this matter, so they didn’t press on about finding the Yinyang Wood.

Peter Brown didn’t know if anyone was selling this item in the market currently, as it was only useful for cultivators. Ordinary people wouldn’t be able to use it even if they obtained it.

At this point, Peter Brown looked at the two and said, "You both promised to help Nancy get her revenge. How do you plan on doing that?"

Edward Martin’s expression turned serious, "Peter, the truth is, Kendall Long has a lot of power. Edward Martin sighed as he said this.

Briar Henderson nodded his head, "Mr. Roger is right. The power of the Luca Clan is too great. I suspect that many officials are under Kendall Long’s control. He has a large protective cover behind him."

The two men were cautious when discussing the Luca Clan.

Peter Brown was puzzled, "If that’s the case, why did you both confidently promise to help her get revenge?" While they were in the car earlier, both had confidently pledged their help, which now confused Peter Brown.

Hearing the question, both men looked at Peter Brown.

"Why are you looking at me?"

"Isn’t it because of you? You have such great abilities, so we believe that you can definitely handle this. We have confidence only because you’re here."

"Yes, today I finally admit defeat. I, Briar Henderson, have underestimated you!"

It turned out the two had pinned their hopes on him, which left Peter Brown speechless in an instant.

"Cut the crap, Briar Henderson, will my car arrive tomorrow?" Peter Brown joked with Briar Henderson.

Bitterly, Briar Henderson said, "God damn it, I always thought we lived in a godless world, but now a ghost appeared all of a sudden, and a beautiful female ghost at that! Briar Henderson admits defeat. Tomorrow, I’ll definitely send you a luxury car."

Peter Brown was a bit embarrassed and said, "Just joking."

Edward Martin said, "Peter, it’s alright. Briar Henderson’s family is quite wealthy. Today, he learned a valuable lesson and witnessed a miraculous life experience. Sending you a car is completely justified. Not only will he send you a car, I will give you a villa as well."

"Both of you?"

Peter Brown was somewhat hesitant.

"Peter, in my entire life, I think the most praiseworthy accomplishment I’ve achieved is getting to know a remarkable person like you, and becoming brothers. To be honest, I, Edward Martin, am the lucky one in this relationship. If you respect me, then let’s not say anything more about it."

Briar Henderson also nodded vigorously in agreement, "Mr. Roger is right!"

Smiling, Peter Brown took out two protective talismans and handed one to each of them, saying, "I’m not taking your things for free. Please take this protective talisman as a gift. My time with the two of you has been enjoyable. Knowing that I need more friends to develop socially, I’m giving you each one of the protective talismans I inscribed."

Edward Martin’s eyes lit up, and he quickly grabbed it. Seeing Briar Henderson still in a daze, Edward Martin chuckled, "Briar Henderson, if you don’t want it, give it to me."

After experiencing today’s events, Briar Henderson knew that Peter Brown was an extraordinary person. Since Peter had mentioned that it was a protective talisman, it definitely couldn’t be just an ordinary item. Although he wanted to flatter Edward Martin, he knew that this item was quite precious, and hurriedly said, "I was scared today. Having this protective talisman would boost my courage. Mr. Roger, I’m not giving it to you."

Edward Martin looked at Briar Henderson and sighed, "Damn, you scored big this time!"

Briar Henderson looked at the jade talisman in his hand and asked, "Is this really awesome?"

Edward Martin replied, "You don’t recognize a good thing? I really fear you might discard it casually. Let me tell you, you know about how I almost got hit by a car last time, right? If it wasn’t for Peter giving me a jade talisman, I would be dead by now. Now tell me, is this talisman awesome or not?"

"For real?"

"Doubt it and get out of the car. I’ll hit you once with the car and you’ll know."

Briar Henderson scratched his head and carefully put it away, saying, "This is a valuable item. How can one casually take it out and throw it away? There’s nowhere to buy it with money!"

"That’s why I say you’ve won big. Don’t think that giving a car makes you lose out. I tell you, to those who recognize the value of this talisman, they wouldn’t hesitate to spend ten million or even a hundred million on it."

Edward Martin even thought in his heart that not even a hundred million could buy it. Using this talisman wisely would mean an extra life.

Listening to the two men’s conversation, Peter Brown smiled and said, "It’s just a small trinket, not a big deal. As for Kendall Long’s case, I do have some ideas. Don’t we need evidence? It’s not difficult. Just go to the Luca Clan and get the evidence."

"You make it sound easy, but it’s impossible for anyone except you."

Edward Martin smiled as he looked at Peter Brown.

Briar Henderson commented, "I’ve secretly observed that Kendall Long always has many people with a special forces background protecting him when he goes in and out. All of those people can fight, and his residence is definitely not easy to enter."

"You guys just need to find out the places he frequents and tell me. I’ll handle the rest."

Actually, Peter Brown had been planning to take action since hearing Nancy’s story. The Carter father and son were such despicable people who had done so many terrible things behind the scenes.

Edward Martin and Briar Henderson both wanted Peter Brown to take action. Now that they heard Peter promise to do so, they were both excited and curious about the methods Peter Brown would use.

"Peter, I’ll find the address for you as soon as possible."

Briar Henderson, familiar with the field, immediately patted his chest and promised Peter Brown.
