Chapter 2177: Chapter 2175: Saint Arrives
Peter Brown never expected that an unintentional attempt would lead him to discover such a network.
Indeed, Peter Brown referred to this network as the Faith Network.
When thinking about the powerful networks in the technological world, Peter felt somewhat exhilarated. If he could truly harness this, then no place would be impervious to him. This was an unprecedented scenario.
Sitting cross-legged, Peter no longer paid attention to external matters and focused solely on how to build this network.
Peter believed he had already grasped the direction.
As time passed bit by bit, Peter immersed himself in studying everything here.
Looking at the faith energy surrounding the sacrificial stage and the strands of energy arriving from various places, Peter’s first thought was still about his Brain Domain.
It was clear that his consciousness emanated from the Brain Domain, so the critical point was to connect through it.
Peter would not use Earth’s outdated computer methods to handle such vast amounts of faith energy. After all, those methods were far too primitive. Instead, Peter envisioned leveraging technological knowledge—such as artificial intelligence technology—though, most importantly, he sought absolute control. This differed from ordinary technology; it originated purely from Peter himself and was entirely under his control. With the power of rules, Peter was not concerned about any potential issues arising.
Soon, Peter cast aside all stray thoughts and began creating within his Brain Domain using his immense energy.
Thanks to the vast knowledge Peter had acquired in technological fields and his Master-level expertise in refining artifacts, he succeeded in crafting one component after another.
The most critical aspect was that the components he crafted were all at the Divine Artifact level, possessing self-repair abilities and impervious to damage.
This technique of refining artifacts within the Brain Domain was derived from the Human Clan’s refining knowledge. With repeated attempts, Peter infused his unique energy and will into the utensils.
With Peter’s will imbued within them, the entire Divine Artifact had now become an intelligent system with Peter as its core.
Peter didn’t know how much time had passed. During his work, he suddenly felt an overwhelmingly powerful pressure descending upon him.
Opening his eyes, Peter felt a sense of exhaustion; this refining process had consumed enormous amounts of his energy. Nonetheless, it was finally nearing completion.
Originally intending to complete the network in this momentum, Peter had to set it aside upon feeling the increasingly intense pressure and prepare to face the figure approaching him.
A Saint has come?
Peter felt a mix of curiosity and nervousness; this was his first time encountering such a situation.
This time, Peter intended to showcase his energy. He deployed twenty Quasi-Saint Guardians, who took their places while sitting cross-legged around him.
After completing these arrangements, Peter showed himself.
Just after Peter had layered multiple defense barriers across his body, he saw radiant streaks flash in the distance.
Far off in the horizon was a small point of light, which suddenly appeared directly before Peter.
It looked like a young person—very young, indeed. If not for closer inspection, one might mistake him for a mortal.
Upon arriving, the young man retracted all his aura, making it impossible for Peter to sense his energy anymore.
Indeed, he had already merged with the Dao, receiving and emitting energies at will!
When the visitor caught sight of the twenty Magic Instructor-level Guardians sitting cross-legged around Peter, his expression slightly froze. He knew Peter had Demon Clan bodyguards, but he didn’t expect there to be so many. This power was comparable to his own. As a Northern Saint-level expert, he had only twenty or thirty Quasi-Saint-level masters guarding him, and those people couldn’t leave their posts randomly.
But now, what exactly was the situation with this young man?
At a glance, Peter’s level of cultivation came fully into view—a Void Saint Layer at most, merely approaching Quasi-Saint Level. How could a person like this have so many Quasi-Saint Guardians under his command?
When Dusty Taylor reported that Demon Clan members had appeared here, the young man was deeply alarmed. He initially thought the leader here might be a Demon Clan expert disguised as Human Clan, but now, as he examined Peter, he could confirm that Peter was truly part of the Human Clan.
An unheard-of Human Clan Void Saint-level figure controlling so many Demon Clan Quasi-Saints... What was going on here?
"This brat?!"
In a flash of light, Dusty Taylor arrived as well. He looked at Peter uncertainly, his understanding muddled. In his mind, anyone able to control Quasi-Saint-level experts must at least be someone of his own caliber. Even he didn’t dare claim such control easily. Yet, this figure was merely at Void Saint-level—how did he manage to exert such influence?
"Are you Human Clan?" The Northern Saint asked for confirmation.
Peter too was curiously observing the Northern Saint.
For as long as he could recall, Saint-level figures had been revered as untouchable beings. Peter shared this notion, but when he finally confronted a Saint himself, he realized they were mere mortals too.
"I am Peter Brown," he responded solemnly, offering the appropriate respect.
"Peter Brown?"
The Saint pondered for a moment but couldn’t recall any information about such a figure.
"How did you manage to control these individuals?" Dusty Taylor inquired.
Peter didn’t bother replying to him and instead addressed the Northern Saint: "May I ask the Saint’s purpose for coming here?"
"Um..."
The Northern Saint’s original purpose had been to annihilate the Demon Clan members he heard of here. However, upon discovering that the Demon Clan elites were actually under the control of a Human Clan member—and so many of them—it left him unsure of what to say. For a Human Clan expert to emerge suddenly like this, it was clearly a boon for the Human Clan.
"The Starlight Domain has always been my territory. Leave immediately!"
Dusty Taylor’s courage had grown with the Saint present, so he shouted boldly.
"From this moment onward, this place is mine," Peter said calmly.
"You!"
Dusty Taylor instinctively stepped forward, but the twenty Magic Instructors were already standing with their enormous magic staffs pointed at him.
Upon witnessing this, Dusty Taylor’s face turned pale. He lacked the resolve to attack. Fighting one or two, he wouldn’t flinch—facing twenty, however, was an entirely unwinnable battle.
