Chapter 2159: Chapter 2157: Return to Purple River Star Region
Seeing that the Demon Saints had already set their sights on him, Peter Brown knew he couldn’t stay here for now. The best course of action was to leave first.
In truth, Peter was well aware of his own situation. Ever since he arrived in the Demon Clan’s territory, he had reaped far too many rewards. Now, what he needed most was to carefully sort through what he had gained, and also further upgrade his Star Rank.
After killing so many, and retrieving too many treasures from the rings of countless experts, Peter felt there wasn’t much left for him to do here. Any further action would only attract the wrath of Saints.
Forget it, let’s head back to the Purple River Star Region first!
Being away for so long, Peter was starting to feel a bit homesick.
Although the puppet consciousness he left behind indicated there wasn’t any major issue in the Hua Kingdom, Peter knew that relying on a puppet for governance would eventually expose his identity. He wanted to go back and take a look.
"Elixir Sea Teleport!"
Peter began his teleportation.
Of course, Peter didn’t leave in too much of a rush. Whenever he passed through a city, he would take some time to collect faith energy before moving on.
After such a prolonged period of gathering, the amount of faith he accumulated in various regions had become astronomical. His Elixir Sea was now brimming with faith energy, eliminating any lack of it.
Peter had departed, but the Demon Clan’s territory became increasingly tense. What he didn’t know was that after news spread that even Saints had failed to kill him, experts from the Three Clans and even some from other races had begun investigating the events that transpired.
However, no matter how hard they searched, Peter seemed to have vanished completely, never reappearing.
The Human Clan representatives sent to make contact with him also couldn’t find him.
Soon, things began to settle down.
Yet there was one thing that puzzled everyone. Logic dictated that once Peter left, a Holy Seal should have naturally formed in his absence. However, after so many days, the Quasi Saints only knew one thing for sure: the Holy Will in that area had already crystallized, and the person who embodied it was still alive.
Why was this happening?
The Demon Clan’s people were starting to lose their minds. They had already lost a Saint. For them, the most urgent priority was to ensure another Saint emerged as quickly as possible; otherwise, the western region could see someone outside the Demon Clan ascend to sainthood.
If that truly happened, the consequences would be catastrophic.
Several Demon Saints were engaged in a heavy exchange of divine consciousness, deeply worried. If another race’s member became a Saint, it would mean one less Saint for the Demon Clan while the opposing race gained one more—a disaster in the making.
"Everyone, it’s clear that Peter Brown is part of the Human Clan. If the Humans gain even one more Saint, we’re doomed. The entire Magic World would cease to exist. Therefore, while one of their Saints is in decline, we should mobilize the power of two of our Saints and launch an attack on the Human Clan. Only by killing that declining Saint can we maintain balance."
"Agreed!"
Their collective consciousness quickly reached a consensus. Using massive benefits to secure the cooperation of the Battle Energy World, they planned to deploy a Saint to the Human Clan’s borders and launch a sudden attack.
Preparations were underway, and negotiations over benefits continued. Unbeknownst to the others, the Demon Clan was planning a large-scale war against the Humans.
"I’m back!"
When Peter emerged from his latest teleportation, he saw the familiar territory of the Purple River Star Region.
At last, he was back in the Purple River Star Region.
The thought was amusing. Peter had initially intended to visit the Starlight Domain. Yet, who could’ve predicted that one teleportation would take him so far, leading to so many unforeseen events?
Reflecting on it, heading to the Starlight Domain now seemed pointless.
Thinking back to how much he and the others yearned to enter the Starlight Domain back then, Peter could only smile. Compared to the endless conflicts of the Two Realms War, the strength within the Starlight Domain now seemed insignificant.
The dozen or so Star Planets in the Purple River Star Region were already immensely powerful. Yet compared to experts with several thousand Star Ranks, they still appeared weak.
Realizing he had already reached a cultivation level of 5000 Star Rank, Peter couldn’t help but feel a sense of amazement.
Throughout his journey, Peter had never stopped absorbing stars. Though it now seemed that this practice wasn’t entirely reliable and couldn’t guarantee great power, it remained the most fundamental method. Without absorbing stars, his Galaxy would have been difficult to form.
On the way, Peter also carefully examined his trace of Holy Will. He discovered that even in regions where Saints resided, it wasn’t repelled but existed independently.
Additionally, Peter analyzed his path to becoming a Saint and realized it differed from others. While others needed to find a region free of Saints to ascend, he was entirely different. His transformation occurred naturally, growing within his Elixir Sea.
In other words, as long as he continued developing his Elixir Sea, he could project his world into any Saint-free region over time.
With this understanding, Peter was no longer worried. Instead, he saw this as an opportunity to return to the Hua Kingdom and focus on developing the entire Divine Nation.
Turning his gaze toward the Hua Kingdom, Peter’s divine sense, now immensely powerful, could see incredibly far.
The higher the cultivation, the sharper the sight.
Yet something puzzled Peter. When he left, the Divine Nation had been filled with his faith power. But now, it was a different story—another kind of faith power seemed to have taken its place.
The Hua Kingdom had always been Peter’s primary source of faith power. Recently, he’d been so busy with other matters and robbing faith energy from other places that he hadn’t paid much attention to the changes within his own Divine Nation.
What had happened?
Seeing this shift, Peter’s expression darkened. His puppet had sent no updates recently. Could something have occurred?
Now that Peter was strong enough to kill Quasi Saints, noticing changes in his domain filled him with mounting anger.
Time to find out who’s stirring up trouble here!
Peter knew that being away for a while and not keeping track of things had likely led to such changes.
