As he walked, Peter Brown heard a peculiar sound, produced by a unique bamboo flute.

At the sound, Peter’s gaze sharpened, and he recognized it perfectly—it was the sound of a snake charmer charming snakes.

Looking at the long snakes, as the sound emanated, they began to gather towards the source of the sound.

Someone was currently charming snakes!

Peter was vastly experienced, and upon hearing the sound, he immediately understood that someone was engaged in some special activities.

And it wasn’t just coming from one place!

Upon listening closely again, Peter discovered that similar sounds were coming from a distance as well.

Since Peter was invisible, augmented by a unique low-frequency sound emanating from him, even though he was among the snakes, none attacked him.

Soon, Peter caught sight of the snake charmer’s situation.

Beast Sect!

At a glance, Peter realized that these people were from the Beast Sect, whom he had just seen earlier, and unexpectedly, they had come here to control the snakes.

By this time, Peter noticed just how many snakes there were in this place, incredibly long and numerous, which would have terrified anyone else who lacked his extensive experience.

"Lucas has improved his snake-charming abilities significantly, with this group of spiritual snakes, our path forward will be much easier," someone commented.

"Yes, I didn’t expect there to be so many snakes here, it’s to our advantage. Having the snakes scout ahead makes us safer," another added.

"Not just scouting, killing more people would be even better."

"Right, Lucas, killing more people means fewer competitors for us."

The members of the Beast Sect loudly discussed their thoughts; soon, with the shift in the flute’s tone, the snakes slithered ahead while the sect members walked forward laughing.

Thinking it over, Peter decided to follow behind them; with others clearing the path, he felt this wasn’t a bad thing for him.

It likely was due to the taming of a leading snake, as along the way, wherever there were snakes, they would gather, and the snake crowd increased in size.

Covering hundreds of miles from the first to the second layer, Peter soon found the snake crowd encountering a group of cultivators who had just entered.

"Kill!"

Before Peter had a chance to warn them, the Beast Sect’s members had already commanded the swarm of snakes to charge forward rapidly.

This is bad!

Peter thought to shout, but the people were already in battle with the swarm of snakes.

Sighing, Peter knew that even if he wanted to, shouting would be useless now.

"Beast Sect, are you trying to start a war with the Skyreach Sect?"

Suddenly, a group of people arrived from ahead.

As Peter looked towards them, he found they wore ordinary cultivator robes, but the aura they emitted made it clear—they were from the Skyreach Sect.

Unexpectedly, the Skyreach Sect had also entered.

Looking at those surrounded by the snake crowd, Peter saw they displayed their cultivation levels, each using Skyreach Sect’s techniques to fiercely fight the snakes.

Seeing that members of two sects were battling here, Peter’s initial idea to raise the alarm faded.

The more deaths between the sects, the better.

Targeting a person surrounded by snakes, as the Shuttle broke through, the man, appearing to be at the Sixteen Star Level, screamed and collapsed.

With his fall, he quickly disappeared into the swarm of snakes.

"How dare you!"

The Skyreach Sect was originally inclined to reason things out, but seeing one of their own die so suddenly, they became furious.

At this point, the Beast Sect members were somewhat confused. Although there had been a dispute with the Skyreach Sect, the snake charmer had actually ordered not to harm the Skyreach Sect people. However, the situation had now complicated unexpectedly.

Before they could react, Peter’s Heaven-breaking Shuttle had already passed through another person, and, similarly, that Skyreach Sect disciple was devoured by the crazed swarm of snakes.

"Beast Sect abuses too much, brothers, fight!"

Unable to endure any longer, one of them shouted vehemently and rushed forward, swinging his great sword for the attack.

These were all individuals with considerable cultivation levels, so the power they unleashed was immense. While the snakes were numerous, facing such experts, they could only just hold their ground.

Both sides clashed fiercely right there.

Now, the Beast Sect members were also stunned. They had not intended to kill members of the Skyreach Sect, but the current situation was that they had caused trouble.

The head of the Beast Sect, observing the battle, commanded everyone, "Kill, spare none."

As he spoke, the Beast Sect members also charged forth.

The two sects unintentionally began battling one another, without anyone considering the cause.

Peter sporadically unleashed the Heaven-breaking Shuttle, and one by one, individuals fell dead. Even if those people sensed something at the last moment, they were quickly overwhelmed by the swarm of snakes.

Seeing such a battle unfold between the two sects, Peter withdrew to the side.

By now, both sides realized that neither could annihilate the other, and immediately, calls for reinforcement echoed everywhere.

Since both sects had just entered, and no one was too far from each other, following the sounds of summoning, people from both sides quickly arrived.

On seeing the battling situation between the two, the disciples from both sides didn’t think twice and threw themselves into the fray.

The battle between the members of the two sects increasingly escalated.

Smiling, Peter looked behind at the wave of Spiritual energy soon to arrive, and stepped forward once more.

The sects want to join forces to compete with him for the Purple Origin Mountain Range!

Peter thought that as long as he was in this place, neither side would have peace. Whenever there was an opportunity, Peter wouldn’t mind stirring things up, letting them fight amongst themselves, which would definitely benefit him.

Due to the frequent appearance of snake swarms along the way, what Peter saw was a trail littered with numerous carcasses. Seeing this, he became somewhat worried about entering the core region and obtaining the holy energy, as dangers seemed very plentiful.

Groups of cultivators, having witnessed death, became more cautious. Even though Peter had an Invisibility Talisman on him, his journey had almost been detected by others.

Looking around again, he saw many people below the Forty Star Rank, but there were even more above it, including some exceeding the Hundred-Star Level.
