Chapter 1785: Chapter 1783: The 14th Prince
Peter Brown had no intention to fight for Purpolia Kingdom. For him, the only goal was survival. While observing both factions fiercely battling each other, Peter maintained a safe distance and followed from behind, knowing the young man would probably try to escape, using the others at the forefront to pave a way to safety.
Although Peter was only a Two-Star, he had fought his way here facing numerous two and three-star masters. He kept on being struck by enemy blades.
Fortunately, thanks to the protection of the Divine Stone, Peter managed to hold his ground amidst the chaotic strikes.
Pfft!
Dodging an enemy’s blade, Peter cleaved his own blade deep into his adversary, a Three-Star master, who widened his eyes in confusion and disbelief as he stared at Peter.
Quickly collecting the man’s storage bag, Peter noticed that Fatty’s group was almost breaking free from the battleground.
He hastened his pace and rushed forward.
However, a Three-Star master appeared right in front of him.
This master, realizing Peter’s lower cultivation, pointed his spear at Peter without a word and immediately lunged it forward.
As Fatty’s side was just about to break free, Peter also accelerated.
As the Three-Star master thrust his spear, Peter countered with a severe slash.
Just as his opponent was trying to block the large blade, Peter hurled a Divine Stone Charm at him.
Boom!
An explosion erupted, and the opponent’s face was blown apart.
Peter swung his blade swiftly, beheading the opponent in one clean stroke.
Snatching the storage bag quickly, Peter didn’t linger to think and charged towards Fatty’s direction.
"Kill!"
While running, Peter suddenly felt a wave of fright taking hold of him.
Without much thought, he activated an Illusion Talisman and swiftly shifted out of the way.
Even though Peter dodged quickly, his illusionary head was grazed by a beam of light.
The enemy rider, without glancing back at Peter, charged past atop a Beast Horse.
Peter threw himself to the ground quickly and on opening his eyes, saw a Five-Star master from Blue Star Kingdom cutting through Fatty’s group.
Awesome!
Peter felt a chill at that moment, realizing a Five-Star Master was indeed beyond his current capability to confront. If the opponent had taken him seriously, it would have been lethal.
Peter gained some quick insights into the star-level masters present.
Looking at the ongoing fight, the opponents were already embroiled in a fierce battle with Fatty’s bodyguards.
Given that Fatty had several Four Star Experts around, even if they couldn’t match a Five-Star, surrounding one still led to intense combat.
Should he rush forward now?
After a brief thought, Peter decided not to dwell on it anymore. Glancing around, not many fighters remained—only corpses littered the area. He laid among them, watching the ongoing fight carefully.
Suddenly, Peter saw another troop storming towards this area.
Also escorted by a team of guardians.
These guards seemed much stronger—several among them were Five-Star Masters.
Before these new fighters could arrive, another pursuing group charged forward from the rear.
These pursuers seemed even stronger, quickly surrounding and slaughtering the newcomers.
What exactly was happening with Purpolia Kingdom?
Peter really couldn’t understand the unfolding scenario. The people fleeing seemed to possess increasingly higher cultivations. Neither faction seemed within his capability to confront.
At that moment, Peter sneakily glanced towards the central figure dressed distinctly in royal garments—attire only meant for the Royal Clan.
Was he a prince?
Seeing this, Peter was shocked by the scale of the battle—astonished to see a prince engaging in combat.
However, it was clear that the prince’s side wasn’t faring well, the fight looked deadlocked.
Looking closer at the prince, Peter noticed an uncanny resemblance between them.
Observing carefully, the likenesses were striking, even their cultivations appeared to be Two-Star.
Strange, how could a prince have such low cultivation?
Confused, Peter could only lay among the corpses, carefully observing the intense battle.
"Kill Prince Harvey!"
A shout from a Five-Star Master of Blue Star Kingdom as he lunged towards the prince ignited the battle anew.
The battle intensified greatly, the protectors of the prince fell one after another.
Glancing towards Fatty’s position, Peter saw that Fatty had just been killed by a rushing Five-Star Master.
What was going on?
Peter felt a chill about his future prospects. With his current level of cultivation, even if he escaped, it would likely end in death.
What to do?
The more Peter thought, the more his head ached. Surviving in the Land of the Divine Realm seemed immensely difficult.
Both factions were locked in fierce combat, men falling one by one.
The prince’s chances of survival seemed slim.
Witnessing this, Peter suddenly had a crazy idea—since surviving as a being from the Lower Realm was so difficult here, why not impersonate the prince?
Peter wasn’t new to such acts. The more he thought about it, the more feasible it seemed—becoming a Prince of Purpolia Kingdom, even if the Fourteenth, could give him access to vast resources and possibly propel his ascent.
"Kill them all."
At that moment, as the last of Prince Harvey’s subordinates fell, the soldiers of Blue Star Kingdom surrounded the prince.
As Peter pondered what would happen to Prince Harvey, he suddenly noticed the prince’s aura rapidly escalating.
What’s happening?
Realizing quickly, Peter understood Prince Harvey was not merely a Two-Star—it was a complete concealment of his true power.
The people of Blue Star Kingdom watched in shock.
Now, the transformed Prince Harvey, with a stern voice, proclaimed, "You all deserve to die!"
As he spoke, his aura continued to soar.
Interesting!
Peter watched, increasingly amazed. The outcome of the battle, with such a twist, was truly unpredictable.
