Chapter 1775: Chapter 173: People Coming from All Places
What astonished Peter Brown was that Paul Nash had actually arrived on a vessel that seemed to be a yacht.
Seeing the surprised look on Peter Brown’s face, Paul Nash said, "Unexpected, huh?"
"Indeed, I thought the people of the Divine Race should be very powerful. How come they use a boat in this area that seems like a sea region?"
"Haven’t you felt the condition of this Heaven and Earth?"
Hearing this, Peter Brown realized there was a Great Power pressing down on him, making all the abilities he once possessed seem to have disappeared all at once.
"How can this be?"
Peter was genuinely surprised.
Paul Nash pointed at the ocean and said, "Take another look at the seawater, is it completely different from yours?"
"Weakened Water?"
After staring for a while, Peter asked in surprise.
Shaking his head, Paul Nash said, "Not Weakened Water, but a type of water formed by light, or perhaps not called water. In your terms, let’s just call it water."
As Peter Brown looked toward the seawater and reached out to touch it, he was truly shocked. It was indeed light, not even resembling water at all. It was something he had never seen before.
Seeing Peter’s puzzled face, Paul Nash said, "The Land of Divine Domain is entirely different from the place you imagine. However, the way of living might not differ much. This water is unlike your water, yet, it possesses a significant function. For the people of the Divine Race, they can’t go a day without it, and this water is also consumable, unlike the seawater of the Lower Realm."
Now Peter really didn’t understand and asked, "How deep is it, can you really not enter?"
Shaking his head, Paul Nash said, "I don’t know how deep it is, but with my abilities, I can’t explore its bottom."
At this point, he said to Peter, "Do you feel a sense of disappointment seeing the place of the Divine Race?"
"Somewhat."
"Actually, consider what a Saint is, what the Divine Race is? They are merely Strong Individuals who can’t do without their clan, and their way of living is much like everyone else’s."
Peter suddenly had a moment of enlightenment. What do humans pursue? Nothing more than eternal life. Since people here might have achieved it, they’ve essentially completed their Task. What other thoughts could they have in such a place?
"Let me tell you, the only benefit of the Divine Race is eternal life. However, this immortality is not absolute. If someone is killed and no one helps them revive, they truly die. Only by Becoming a Saint and becoming a Saint can one truly achieve immortality."
"So you mean this place is similar to the Mortal Realm?"
"The so-called return to the origin is what this situation entails. When a peak is reached, all measures become useless. Thus, the powerful methods you had in the Lower Realm are now useless here, and there’s a different direction of development here."
Peter felt like he was starting to understand.
If you remove being without disease or pain, and immortality, the people here should not be much different from mortals.
During the conversation, the yacht also quickly reached a seemingly large island.
When Peter looked around, he saw that the island was indeed vast, essentially just like a Star Planet lying there.
"Time is tight, I won’t keep you any longer, and I won’t take you to see Family Members either. You can just leave through the teleportation formation, since we have only you who stepped out to join the Army."
Paul Nash led Peter Brown to a teleportation formation here.
Peter noticed that this teleportation formation was actually not much different from a typical one.
Soon, the teleportation formation was activated, and seeing Peter enter the teleportation formation, Paul Nash said, "Your power is really too weak; you need to watch out for yourself, try not to provoke anyone, and be careful on the battlefield."
It was evident he was worried about Peter Brown’s future.
Peter looked in the direction he came from, knowing that from now on, the places he would step into were completely different. Perhaps the places he would go to were very dangerous, but he couldn’t avoid going. From Paul Nash, he knew that the Divine Race’s idea about the people of the Lower Realm was akin to a form of captivity. For these people, as long as they disobey, they could be directly obliterated. At this moment, Peter knew that the only thing he could do was comply and see if he could grow in due time.
As the light shone brightly, Peter found that the teleportation here was not much different from the teleportation he experienced in the Lower Realm.
Regarding the Land of the Divine Domain, Peter truly didn’t know how to feel about it; it was a completely foreign place.
After 10 minutes, Peter felt a sudden brightness in front of him, and then he arrived at a very large square.
This square was indescribably large, almost making Peter feel like it was just like a Star Planet.
When he materialized, Peter saw that the place was already shining with light everywhere, and one by one, people appeared on this square.
As he observed these people, Peter found that those who appeared here were wearing various outfits but looked exactly like him.
Peter had been worried about encountering people of different appearances. Feeling relieved that they all looked the same, he said to himself, "As long as they look the same, it’s all right."
Thinking about it, Peter could understand that Earth might be a place cultivated by someone from the Divine Race, where the people created were made to resemble that Divine Individual. Thus, it wasn’t too problematic that everyone looked the same.
As he was unsure of where to go, a Voice came from afar, seemingly transmitted through some equipment, instructing Peter to follow the arrow on the ground to find the place to report.
Soon, Peter arrived at the reporting station.
A middle-aged looking Soldier glanced at Peter and said, "Please present your military conscription order."
When Peter handed over the conscription order, the Soldier examined Peter and said, "I didn’t expect people from the Lower Realm to come from that place; it’s strange indeed."
Though it was strange, he did not hinder Peter but quickly registered him. Then Peter received a set of Military Uniform, a Military Saber, and a shield.
Looking at these seemingly primitive items, Peter was astounded; he hadn’t expected the Army of the Divine Race to be so primitive.
"From now on, you are a member of the Wind and Thunder Army. Go report to the barracks for new recruits."
At that moment, a Soldier appeared from somewhere and said to Peter, "Follow me."
