Chapter 1717 - 1715: Entering the Holy Sanctuary
Chapter 1717: Chapter 1715: Entering the Holy Sanctuary
Having done so much, Peter Brown only had one aim, and that was to enter the Holy Sanctuary.
The time had come to re-enter the Holy Sanctuary!
After arranging his affairs once again, this time Peter planned to spend a longer period within the sanctuary.
The next day, Peter had already observed the usage of Kindness energy, and sure enough, just as he had guessed, the Kindness energy at twelve o’clock each day was enough to maintain the portal’s opening. A great amount of spiritual energy was entering this world from that portal.
Given the current situation with his company, every day there would be a large number of people injecting Gene Medicine and consuming that kind of nanotech food. All these things could bring him a substantial amount of Kindness energy. The matter of the Flying Car had also been handed over to the AI. When the time was right, affordable Flying Cars for ordinary people would be launched, and then a large influx of Kindness energy would follow.
Peter no longer needed to worry about a lack of Kindness energy. Looking at the endless supply coming his way, Peter first thought about getting ready to enter, but then he chuckled to himself. Now, there really was nothing for him to prepare. The Holy Sanctuary was no longer the place he once knew; this was the true Land of the Sanctuary. Inside, Peter didn’t know what might happen or what dangers existed.
Forget it, there’s nothing to prepare.
After sitting cross-legged and regulating his breathing, Peter’s mind reached out towards the Elixir Sea.
At that moment, Peter saw a portal emerge from the Elixir Sea and then appear before him.
Sitting there and watching the portal that only allowed one person to enter, Peter became somewhat curious. The portal had actually come out from the Elixir Sea.
A glance revealed the wide-open portal, and the spiritual energy that radiated from it was still so immense, spreading to all corners of the room and soon escaping to even farther places.
Perhaps this world might really have spiritual energy because of him.
Standing up, Peter walked towards the portal.
After taking one step forward, Peter already found himself standing on the other side of the portal.
At that moment, the portal once again made its way towards Peter’s Elixir Sea and was hidden within it.
Looking in the direction of the former location of the portal, all that was visible was a vast wilderness.
This was good, he could go back at any time!
Now Peter truly felt at ease. As he looked around, this place was a Land of Wilderness with not a single person present, and it wasn’t the location he had arrived at last time.
Observing the towering trees and the waist-high wild grass all around, Peter became somewhat anxious about the Land of the Sanctuary; it was not like any place he had been to before. This was an entirely new location.
After reflecting for a moment, Peter’s Divine Sense once again entered the Elixir Sea and saw that the portal was still there.
With a flicker of thought, the portal reappeared before Peter.
After stepping through, Peter found himself back in the room he had just come from.
Excellent!
Peter had been concerned about being transported to an unknown location, but now, seeing this situation, he felt much more relieved.
It seemed that wherever one came from, there should be coordinates.
When Peter looked at the location of the portal, he indeed saw a light that seemed like a coordinate.
No doubt about it, it should be here.
Thinking this, Peter moved the portal with his mind to that spot and once again stepped through it.
It was indeed the same place he had just been to!
A thought struck Peter, and after sprinting for a good distance, he noticed a moving light point, which was now stopped here.
Half an hour later, Peter nodded in satisfaction. Through experimentation, he had now confirmed that his portal could change its exit location. This was indeed fortunate for Peter; next time he wouldn’t have to return to the same spot.
The portal could let him in and out at any time, so Peter Brown was truly relieved. At this point, his courage also swelled, and he quickly headed forward.
After walking for an entire day without seeing a single person, Peter could almost be sure that the place he had arrived at was sparsely populated.
Concerning the Land of the Sanctuary, Peter had many speculations, truly not knowing how many people actually existed here.
Peter also had a feeling that there probably weren’t few people here.
Fortunately, perhaps due to the considerable noise Peter made along the way, he didn’t encounter any fierce beasts.
When Peter deliberately observed the herbal medicine along the road, he discovered that the vegetation here was completely different from what he knew, with some wild grasses and fruits being utterly incomprehensible.
It was a completely different situation!
The idea of picking some herbal medicine thus turned into an illusion at this moment.
Looking around, Peter truly didn’t dare to eat the various fruits.
However, Peter did have one pleasant surprise: the energy in his Elixir Sea had started to recover some, no longer completely traceless as before.
Suddenly, Peter felt that something was watching him.
Startled, he quickly turned around, only to see a creature resembling a wild boar not far to his left.
The creature’s eyes bulged out, and its mouth somewhat resembled that of a pig’s; as Peter looked at it, he saw it spew out an Ice Bomb towards him.
What was this situation?
Peter was genuinely startled and did not expect the animal, which looked like a wild boar, to spit out such a thing.
Boom!
After the loud noise, Peter saw that a large pit had been created behind him, where the wild grass had been completely smashed into the pit.
Damn, what is this thing?
Peter was quite shocked at this moment.
As Peter wondered, the wild boar opened its big mouth, and two long tusks stabbed towards him.
With a swift movement, Peter threw a punch.
His fist collided with the body of the wild boar, causing it to tremble and only move back a bit, but it was not knocked down.
Greatly alarmed, Peter gestured with his hand and took out a large knife he carried on his back, the only high-tech knife he had prepared.
With a swing of the knife, he split open the body of the wild boar.
Puff!
This time, it did open a large gash.
Yet Peter was still somewhat surprised; the wild boar’s flesh was too thick, and the knife hadn’t killed the creature.
The wild boar became even more frenzied, incessantly spewing Ice Bombs from its mouth. As the bombs hit the ground, large pits were being created all around Peter.
It’s not easy to get by!
It was the first time Peter found that the Land of the Sanctuary was such a dangerous place, even an ordinary beast was so ferocious.
