Chapter 151: Seizing the Speedboat

Chapter 151: Chapter 151: Seizing the Speedboat

As Peter Brown just finished speaking, an Earth Talisman was cast out, and he instantly broke through a thin layer of earth and entered the seawater.

Once in the seawater, Peter shook his head. The current Talisman was just of primary level. Had it been of a higher rank, he could have completely burrowed into the ground. However, the talisman he had refined could not even penetrate the rocks, only able to go through a shallow layer.

Fortunately, he managed to go into the seawater without drawing attention.

Invoking another Water Talisman, Peter concealed himself, and then swam towards a speedboat of the other party.

Peter had long set his eyes on this particular speedboat, where a team leader seemed to be giving commands.

Perhaps due to the confidence derived from having surrounded people on the Island Reef, there was no guard in the sea at all. Hence, Peter managed to quickly reach under the speedboat.

Just as he was about to attack the people on the boat, Peter had an idea. He threw some true Qi at two of them, knocking them unconscious with precise hits on their acupoints. The Qi Refining First Layer leader was also immobilized by Peter’s true Qi.

Hiding to the side, Peter then guided the speedboat towards the island where Jason Weir and the others were trapped.

Actually, amidst the intense battle, several speedboats had sunk into the ocean, and some were rushing forward. Nobody really noticed anything unusual.

Seeing that he had already driven a distance away, Peter fired a signal flare.

All of a sudden, everyone was aware of his situation.

While the enemy was stunned, Jason Weir and the others saw that Peter had successfully taken over a speedboat and were instantly cheered up.

"Charge!"

When Jason’s order was issued, he felt a surge of momentum as two people hoisted him and dashed towards the sea.

Everyone on the island knew it was a critical moment, no one dared to be negligent, they all leapt into action.

With quick movements, various floating objects were thrown into the sea, onto which people stepped and moved towards Peter’s direction.

Even though Oliver Bridge was carrying a person, he was the first one to jump onto the speedboat. Following him, everyone else also rushed towards it.

Peter pushed the unconscious people into the sea without any hesitation. After changing the direction, the speedboat again moved towards their enemy, this time catching the defenders off guard.

"Fire!"

Just when the speedboat charged near the enemies, Peter, who had prepared a handful of jade talisman in advance, hurled them out.

They were all explosive jade talismans, which instantly stirred up huge waves in the seawater.

The enemy, completely unaware of why Peter and his group were coming back, were caught off guard when the huge waves rolled in. None of them retaliated.

Even Peter hadn’t anticipated such a smooth operation. Soon, the speedboat had managed to reach the enemy’s island reef.

"Follow me!"

Without giving it a second thought, Peter abandoned the speedboat and charged towards the shore.

Seeing his prompt actions, everyone else quickly followed him up the shore.

Upon reaching the shore, Peter didn’t stop and kept throwing jade talismans one after another. Very soon, the place they were standing at began to change. After running a certain distance, everyone reached behind a large rock. It was then when Peter heaved a sigh of relief and said, "Done. They shouldn’t find us for a while."

"Just like that?" Tara Morgan curiously looked around, finding it too easy to believe.

Peter sat down on the ground and said, "Let’s rest a bit. We’re safe for now. Now, we just have to wait and see how our army comes to our rescue."

"This is not good, Albert Davis and the others didn’t follow us."

After everyone sat down and Jason did a count, he realized something was wrong.

Oliver sighed, "There’s no point searching for them. When we were charging here, Albert Davis had not brought along the pilot. After invoking a talisman, he jumped into the sea towards the other direction. They must have had other escape plans. At that time, none of us could take care of them and could only focus on rushing over."

"Damn, Albert Davis!"

Everyone understood upon hearing it - Albert Davis didn’t trust Peter’s tactics at all. He had seen everyone diverting the enemy’s attention and had sneakily run away instead.

"How could this happen!" Tara also expressed surprise.

"What about the pilot?" Jason looked at the distant island reef. Everyone had rushed over, but the chances of the pilot surviving were very slim.

"I’ll go save him!"

Peter knew that he was the only one now who could go and save the pilot.

Peter..." Priest Wilson looked at Peter uneasily. He wanted to say something, but didn’t know what.

"Peter, do your best." That’s all Jason could say.

After offering a Earth Talisman, Peter entered the seawater once again.

Peter was extremely upset with Albert’s actions. He originally thought he had planned well, but never expected such an incident to occur.

Peter couldn’t help but blame himself - If he hadn’t entrusted the pilot to Albert, who had the highest cultivation among them, the pilot wouldn’t have been implicated. Determined to save the pilot because of this, Peter swore he would rescue him at all costs.

The enemy had also reacted by then. They even discovered that Albert was hidden in the sea. The enemy divided into three teams - one returned to their island to search for Jason and the others, one was chasing Albert, and a small group was heading towards the island the pilot was on.

Upon understanding the situation, Peter found an enemy diver’s suit in the sea, put it on, and quietly swam towards a speedboat. While everyone was not paying attention, he threw out multiple warheads, knocking unconscious a few men on the speedboat by hitting their acupoints.

After putting them out of action, Peter jumped onto the speedboat and started towards the small island.

By now, most of the enemy had reached the island reef. Peter was getting anxious as he wasn’t sure about the pilot’s situation. If the pilot was fighting back desperately, he would probably be on death row and Peter wouldn’t be able to save him.

As expected, when Peter reached there, he saw that the pilot was about to pull the pin on a hand grenade and die with the enemies.

Seeing this, Peter didn’t have time to think twice. He immediately shot a warhead hitting the pilot’s acupoint, rushed to the pilot and whispered, "Cooperate with me!"

At first, the pilot wanted to resist, but he suddenly heard Peter’s voice and was shocked.

"I’ll take him to the speedboat first." After telling his allies, Peter carried the pilot and dashed towards the speedboat.

...Explosion!
