Chapter 1342: Chapter 1342: The Desperate Seekers of Medical Help (Part 1)

Ever since Peter Brown cured various terminal illnesses, the city suddenly bustled with activity as a continuous stream of patients from all over the world arrived with one goal in mind—to seek medical help.

At Flynn Kingston’s Residence, Gilbert Thompson stood there with a distressed expression. Recently, he gained immense fame as Peter Brown’s agent for the external affairs regarding his medical treatment, which made him the most dazzling figure. However, facing the never-ending flow of patients seeking help, he really didn’t know what to do.

"Master, a mere hundred spots per week really aren’t enough!"

Peter Brown was of course aware that it wasn’t enough, and looking over at Gilbert Thompson, he said, "Are people from all over the world coming now?"

"Indeed, there are really too many now, and the auction prices for spots have skyrocketed. The treatment cost for one patient went up to one hundred million at its peak."

"Seems like there are quite a few wealthy people!"

Peter Brown was also rather astonished.

"For the wealthy, their health is the most important. As long as they can be cured, they don’t care how much money they spend."

Peter Brown nodded slightly, and an idea struck him, perhaps he could sell the spots in a different way.

After this auction, money was no longer an issue for Peter Brown; what he wanted now were resources for cultivation. He had already researched and found that cultivation resources here were extremely scarce, so rare that it was difficult to find them.

Nevertheless, Peter Brown also had a concern: if he exposed that he was a cultivator, would it bring some trouble?

After thinking for a while, a resolute look appeared on Peter Brown’s face. Cultivating was essentially defying the heavens, and if he feared this and that, how could he continue his cultivation.

"Here’s what we’ll do: I’ll create some designs and details of the items I need. Take them and release the information. Anybody who has these items will get a spot, and you can auction these spots off."

"Are you saying that spots besides the auction can be obtained with items?"

"Yes, to prevent any harm from those possessing the items, think of more ways to keep it secret. I will conduct inspections myself, and any items that satisfy me will earn a spot, which they can handle as they please—use it themselves or sell it, I am only interested in the spot."

Gilbert Thompson nodded and said, "Some influential people have already proposed such methods, can we include them in the process?"

"Do whatever you guys want."

After Gilbert Thompson left, Peter Brown sat down in front of his computer and started working.

Peter’s expertise in this area surpassed anyone else’s here. His fingers flew over the keyboard, rapidly designing a program. Once connected to his Brain Domain, any material he thought of was naturally captured by the computer program, and the materials then appeared in the program, neatly categorized.

It didn’t take much time for Peter to organize the content of the immortal grass and materials.

Instead of letting people know what these materials were, he simply used numerical codes.

The next day, when Peter Brown arrived at the treatment site, he was surprised to find that most of the patients were AIDS sufferers. Seeing this, he looked towards Gilbert Thompson.

With a bitter smile, Gilbert Thompson said, "This disease is most common among the wealthy. They have spent a lot of money to cure it, without any effect. The highest bids at the auction came from them, ever since you cured a few last time, and they arrived from all around the world."

Peter Brown was speechless; the disease was difficult to cure for others, but for him, it was really not an issue.

He handed the catalog of necessary items he had prepared to Gilbert Thompson and said, "This is what I need, use all means to get the word out."

Gilbert Thompson nodded emphatically.

In the following time, Peter Brown was busy with treatments, which for him, was truly not a difficult task. Acupuncture, medicine pills, decoctions, and soaking in medicinal liquid, these methods were mostly enough to cure on the spot.

After treating one hundred and fifty people, a large crowd remained, insisting that Peter Brown treat them as well.

Looking at the people seeking medical help, Peter Brown said to the media, "Cancer isn’t really an incurable disease. So, I will establish a medical factory, specifically producing medicine that prevents cancer. As long as the person has early-stage cancer, taking it should resolve the issue. Negotiate the deal for distributing the medicine with Gilbert Thompson."

Having said that, Peter Brown left.

Gilbert Thompson was somewhat stunned at the moment but followed Peter Brown and asked, "How shall we handle this?"

"You could either take over an existing pharmaceutical factory or build a new one, I’m leaving that to you. When the time comes, you’ll get 1% of the shares. If any big families wish to invest, I’ll offer 9% of the shares for them to divide. Next, we also have AIDS medication."

"Are you going to release these prescriptions?" At that moment, Gilbert Thompson was genuinely excited; he knew the potential profits were immense.

"What else can I do if I don’t release them? I can’t possibly cure every sick person in the world," Peter Brown stated.

Gilbert Thompson then laughed and said, "This pharmaceutical factory is bound to make a huge profit."

"The focus is the items I need; that matter should be treated as a priority."

"You can count on me, I’ll arrange it immediately."

After Peter Brown returned to his residence, his mind stirred, and he looked around. His gaze then fell on several places, whereupon he discovered there were monitors set up.

Upon seeing this, Peter Brown snorted quietly, realizing that he was still being watched by some powers.

Without paying attention to the surveillance equipment, Peter Brown headed out in his car towards the factory that was preparing his components. The components he needed should also be almost ready.

As he drove out to a section of the suburban roads, suddenly, a large vehicle blocked the way, and another big vehicle appeared from the rear, trapping Peter Brown’s car in between.

They really did come!

Peter Brown calmly got out of the car.

At that moment, several foreigners, brandishing weapons, confronted Peter Brown.

"Go!"

Peter Brown had no desire to waste words with them; he simply threw out a Talisman.

As these Talismans were released, the attackers were instantly engulfed in thunderbolts, and the enormous roar left nothing behind but some corpses.

Bang!

Just then, a gunshot rang out. A flash of light in front of Peter made the bullet fall to the ground.

When Peter threw a Talisman in the direction of the gunfire, the shooter hiding in the shadows was killed.

After dealing with the situation, Peter Brown’s eyes moved toward a particular spot in the distance.

PS: I recommend a book: "The Unrivaled Lucky Youngster of the City." It’s an excellent read, worth checking out!
