Chapter 1212: Chapter 1122: Divine Consciousness Battlefield_1

Peter Brown returned to the Hudson Manor and hadn’t been sitting for a few minutes when Benjamin Woods and Huxley Brown came to find him.

"Let’s go, let’s have some fun," without further ado, the two took Peter Brown by the arms and headed outside.

Seeing their enthusiasm, Peter Brown felt obliged to go along with them, and they walked out of the mansion.

A Flying Magical Artifact was summoned, and Peter Brown saw that it was shaped like a carriage. After the two boarded, Peter Brown also got on the artifact.

They didn’t head towards the center of the Sect but instead flew towards a place in the Southland.

Once there, Peter Brown realized that this place was indeed different. It was busier than the Sect’s central area, with streets full of bustling shops and swarms of people amidst the glimmering lights and wine.

In his mind, he finally recalled the situation here. This was an open area of the Sect where not only Sect members but also outsiders were allowed to do business, and everyone liked to come here for entertainment.

"William Stone, I heard that a few elite beauties from other Sects have arrived here, and they are said to be awesome," chuckled Huxley Brown.

Benjamin Woods also laughed and said, "This time William Stone has certainly made a name for himself; everyone knows that the reason our Ghost Expelling Sect achieved victory is because of William Stone. You’ve truly raised the reputation of the Five Demon Hunters."

While talking, they entered a large courtyard, and then they saw three young masters waiting there to greet them.

When they saw Peter Brown enter, everyone greeted him enthusiastically.

He also remembered the three people in his memory.

Sure enough, all five young masters were children of Elders and were always known as the Five Demon Exterminators—of course, that was what people called them behind their backs, while to their faces they were known as heroes.

The other three young masters were called Felix Brown, Cillian, and Waylon.

After everyone sat down, Felix Brown laughed heartily and said, "Zavier, you really were awesome this time. I didn’t expect you to even take down Louis Martin!"

At the mention of this, everyone began to get excited.

Benjamin Woods said seriously, "In there, if I hadn’t used the escape magic treasure grandfather gave me, he would have almost killed me. Just as I was thinking about how to retaliate, I never expected Zavier to take care of it for me. Zavier, well done!"

It seemed everyone had strong feelings towards the matter involving Louis Martin.

At this point, Waylon turned to Peter Brown and said, "Zavier, you’ve really offended Elder Cook badly. Others may not know, but we’re aware that, according to rumors, that Louis Martin was Elder Cook’s illegitimate child."

Huxley Brown said, "This news has already spread; it seems to be true. After you killed Louis Martin, Elder Cook has been furious, rallying support everywhere. You need to be careful."

Peter Brown sighed and said, "Being careful is useless. I’m one of those selected for the Divine Consciousness Battlefield this time."

"Divine Consciousness Battlefield!"

When everyone heard this place mentioned, their expressions all changed.

Benjamin Woods bitterly smiled and said, "Although the top three from the resources war must enter, there has always been an unspoken rule among the Sects that one can use special methods to avoid going if one chooses. How did they decide on you?"

Cillian responded, "I know about this. Elder Cook suddenly proposed it during the Elder Assembly, and then most people agreed. Even the Sect Leader couldn’t overrule it."

Soon, a group of scantily clad female cultivators came in like a gust of wind.

Looking at their exposed white chests and the women dressed in thin gauzes, the young masters became impatiently handsy, stirring up chaos throughout the entire room.

Watching the behavior of these young masters, Peter Brown was at a loss for words. Although he was also attracted to women, he wouldn’t lack such taste, and so he pretended to feel uncomfortable and sat still without moving.

"William, live in the moment," Benjamin Woods said, hugging a woman. "These ladies are all excellent cultivators, each with Celestial Tier cultivation. They used to be high and mighty figures in their respective Sects," he remarked to Peter Brown.

"Don’t worry about me, I’ll just sit for a bit," Peter replied.

Everyone guessed that something was bothering Peter, but no one pestered him about it.

He picked up the teacup, took a sip, and the scantily dressed girl sitting next to him hurriedly fed him an Immortal Fruit.

As he looked at the woman, Peter was stunned; she was actually a senior sister from the Dark Mist Sect who had ended up here.

When Peter thought of the annihilation of the Dark Mist Sect, he sighed and wondered what had become of the people he knew.

"Which Sect are you from?" Peter asked her intentionally.

"I was originally from the Dark Mist Sect, and I ask that William show me favor," she replied.

Peter remembered this woman being quite illustrious in the Dark Mist Sect, with many disciples surrounding her and numerous suitors. Now, seeing her like this, Peter couldn’t help but reflect on how one’s environment can affect a person.

"William, she’s one I reserved especially for you, she’s still untouched," Benjamin Woods said, seeing Peter somewhat interested.

Hearing that she was untouched, Peter looked over at the woman; indeed, her body was delicate, not like someone who had cultivated for countless years.

Thinking of her as a member of the Dark Mist Sect, Peter asked, "How many women from your Sect are still here?"

At this inquiry, the woman’s expression turned sad as she replied, "Five more."

"Go call your boss over," he commanded.

After all, they were from the same Sect, and Peter truly didn’t wish to see them continue to fall from grace—he thought if he could help, then he should.

Soon, a middle-aged woman walked in, swaying seductively.

Peter addressed her, "I fancy those five from the Dark Mist Sect. I will redeem them. Name your price."

"This—"

The woman had not expected Peter to ask her about this, and was momentarily stunned.

Benjamin Woods never imagined that Peter would actually redeem people, and he burst out laughing, "William is awesome, buying them to play with at leisure."

Addressing the woman, he said, "This is Leo White, William. You know who he is now, right? Don’t try to quote high prices, or you might as well close down this place."

With a pained expression, the woman said, "William, just give any reasonable amount."

Peter, not wanting to take advantage of her, tossed a storage bag to her, "There are some Immortal Grass in here, it should be enough."

The woman looked inside and indeed saw five stalks of Immortal Grass. Upon calculating the value, she found it was several times more than what she had paid for them. She smiled broadly and said, "It’s enough, more than enough."

Peter stood up and said to the group, who were thoroughly enjoying themselves, "I’ll be going back now, you guys continue having fun."

Huxley Brown laughed heartily, "William really has refined tastes. Go back and enjoy yourself."

Everybody burst into laughter.
