"Still not found?" Outside the mine shaft, Reuben Wilson, the sect lord of the Ghost Expelling Sect, looked somberly at the person reporting to him.

Everything had been accounted for; as long as they killed the opposing sect leader, the ring would naturally fall into their hands. But who could have anticipated such an individual emerging from the chaos?

What worried Reuben Wilson the most were the allies of the Dark Mist Sect. If they learned about what happened here, it was highly likely that they would send reinforcements, leading to more chaotic battles.

While the search outside intensified, Peter Brown had already consumed all his medicine.

After swallowing the last Boundary Breaking Elixir, Peter Brown had reached the Peak-Ascension-Level.

This upgrade happened too swiftly, so fast that even Peter Brown was surprised. In a very short span of time, he had achieved a level upgrade.

However, Peter Brown was not overly joyous, as he understood that running into this place was his only choice. Heading anywhere else was a dead end; only within the mine shaft might there be a thread of vitality. But, the mine shaft had its issues, mainly being the numerous dead-end passageways. If he entered a dead end and was discovered, it truly would be over for him.

Luckily, so far everything had been smooth, and the path he entered remained undiscovered.

But, would the Ghost Expelling Sect not search this far?

Peter Brown also harbored another worry. Since they were the Ghost Expelling Sect, they undoubtedly had Tracing Demon Beasts. If they employed such beasts, could he still manage to escape?

After walking through several branching paths, Peter heard voices coming from above and swiftly set up a Hidden Formation, concealing himself within it.

Sure enough, three people soon came by.

When Peter looked at these three people, he noticed at a glance a young master-like figure walking in the middle, flanked by two young people.

The three of them joked and laughed as they walked, clearly not treating the search for Peter as a serious matter.

The lead man said.

The two young people ventured further inside to search.

Peter then focused his gaze on the one called Zavier.

Peter had made his mind up, no matter what, he had to take down Zavier.

How to strike?

But, to take him down quietly and without alerting the other two inside, would require careful planning.

Peter listened attentively for any sounds in the surroundings and further investigated with his Divine Sense.

After a while, when there were no sounds to be heard, Peter knew it was time for him to take action.

He adjusted his breath and hid his presence completely. Peter was aware that he only had one chance, and if he missed, as soon as someone appeared, it would be difficult for him to even think about escaping.
