Chapter 1134: Chapter 1134: The Combat Power of the Spiritual Realm_1
Looking into the Elixir Sea, Peter Brown found that the energy inside had already surpassed its original level by more than double.
If the Immortal Power layer was merely a way to use strength, akin to a Qigong enthusiast filling their body with power, then the Spiritual Realm was about turning that intangible power into a tangible force, capable of unleashing a powerful Internal Qi Release.
For a cultivator, Internal Qi Release represented a tremendous advancement, almost like undergoing a transformation.
A person of the Spiritual Realm could easily sweep through a multitude of those at the Immortal Power level.
What Peter now saw was just such a scenario: the Elixir Sea brimmed with immense energy, ready to be unleashed with a single thought.
Peter had roughly estimated that using his internal energy for attacks, he could strike a hundred times before being depleted.
Alright, with such a level, Peter had greater confidence in protecting his current residence. Even if someone tried to take his house, it surely wouldn’t be easy, right?
As he thought about this, Peter sensed a warning from outside the house, as if someone was out there.
Stepping outside, Peter saw the same young man he had fended off before, this time accompanied by another young man with a face full of meaty flesh.
"Why have you come again?" Peter was even less inclined to take the young man seriously now.
"Kid, you dared to injure Micha Clarkson, and now you’re in trouble. Starting now, I’ve got a bone to pick with you, and I won’t be a Clarkson if I don’t deal with you."
Looking at his hand, Peter noticed it was already healed and felt a chill. The quick recovery indicated that the young man was backed by someone influential; the situation just got a bit more complicated.
However, Peter relaxed a bit, remembering that no matter how powerful the person behind the scenes was, they couldn’t act against a newcomer.
"Little Micha, is this the guy who injured you?"
"Corbin, it’s this guy. My brother said to sort him out at the Arena Platform, but you help me get revenge first."
"Don’t worry, I’ll take care of him. Isn’t he just someone from the Immortal Power layer? I’m at the peak and can enter the Spiritual Realm at any moment."
By now, more spectators had gathered, all watching Peter and feeling sorry that he had offended the Clarkson brothers.
Looking at them, Peter, who was of a higher level, could see their cultivation levels clearly. In fact, both men had lower cultivation than Peter, so they were unable to discern his level.
"Listen, kid, my name is Callen Collins, and today, if you don’t leave this room, it’s going to be a matter of life and death!"
The young man named Callen Collins stood with a suddenly heightened aura, revealing he was no reckless individual as he pulled an Immortal blade from his storage bag.
Looking at that Immortal blade, Peter saw it was merely a first-rank Immortal blade, inferior to his own.
Yet, Peter also took the situation seriously; if the opponent had a weapon, it meant he possessed sword techniques. Facing someone with a set of sword techniques, Peter couldn’t be sure of victory.
"Prepare yourself, kid, I’m about to attack."
Displaying the manner of a skilled fighter, Callen even warned Peter. However, everyone understood it was just for show; Callen clearly didn’t regard Peter as a threat.
"Attack!"
With a swing of his broadsword, Callen executed a sword technique, and Peter immediately felt a powerful aura emanating from the blade.
It was an impressive technique, but after all, not a true Immortal one, merely a pure power attack, not even reaching the level of Internal Qi Release.
Reminded of Internal Qi Release, Peter felt somewhat reassured.
As the attack came, Peter’s gaze sharpened, and with an outstretched hand, he grasped it directly.
Now at the Spiritual Realm, what could an opponent from the Immortal Power level do against Peter? They stood no chance.
Callen had thought his strike would injure Peter, but as Peter’s hand reached out, he felt his entire body locked in place by a breath of air, even his broadsword moving sluggishly.
"How is this possible?"
Before he could comprehend what happened, Peter had already grabbed his broadsword, and a surge of strength sent the weapon flying from his grasp.
Another wave of force came, and Peter’s left hand had already seized Callen’s storage bag.
"How can this be?"
Callen had never expected such an outcome—his sword technique had yet to unfold before his broadsword was snatched, and his storage bag taken.
"Go away!"
A tap of the flat of the broadsword from Peter, and Callen was sent flying.
Turning his attention to the horrified Micha Clarkson, Peter stepped forward and plucked the panicking Micha’s storage bag as well.
"Go away!"
With a kick, Peter sent Micha flying once again.
This time, though, Peter didn’t injure them but turned and entered his room.
As Peter shut the door, the onlookers were stunned, unable to fathom Peter’s true cultivation level. With such an effortless display, how could there be any fight left?
"Corbin?"
Micha gaped at Callen, unable to believe the outcome. After all, Callen was also a master nearing the Spiritual Realm!
With a complex look, Callen glanced at Micha, snorted, and without a word, stomped away.
Callen knew within his heart that against a high-level cultivator like Peter, he simply wasn’t a match. Only now did he realize he had failed to see through Peter’s level of cultivation.
Realizing he couldn’t discern it made his face change color again; it suggested that Peter might have already reached the Spiritual Realm.
The matter was getting complicated!
Contemplating that he might have offended a high-level Spiritual Realm expert, Callen had thoughts of killing Micha.
At that moment, Micha looked distressed, not expecting Peter to be so formidable. His brother had planned to deal with Peter on the Arena Platform, and Micha had secretly sought Callen’s help, not anticipating a freshly emerged cultivator to be so strong.
No, he had to report this incident to his brother immediately.
