Chapter 1064: Chapter 1064: Faith Energy Can Indeed Be Traded_1
Time trickled away, and surprisingly, no one emerged from that path, which left Peter Brown rather bored.
When he looked again at the place for collecting belief energy inside the temple, Peter saw that ever since he had modified the settings, the sites previously gathering belief energy were now devoid of it, as a continuous stream flowed towards him.
He believed that those people must be aware of this situation, yet it was evident that they didn’t dare to approach rashly.
Forget about it for now!
Peter gazed into his Elixir Sea. Ever since he had planted the Immortal Valley on that patch of Breath Soil, he had harvested a great quantity of Immortal Valley, ripening every two days. Although Peter’s land was small, he had still reaped several acres’ worth of yield.
"Trade!"
Without hesitation, except for saving the seeds, Peter exchanged all of the Immortal Valley once more.
This time, like before, he also traded for more Breath Soil.
With this trade, Peter’s land area had now reached a size of one and a half acres.
After planting the Immortal Valley, Peter started to wait for the harvest.
However, just then, something stirred in Peter’s heart, and he filled an Immortal Jar with belief energy to trade.
"Belief energy, highly pure, valued at ten thousand immortal crystals, would you like to trade?"
The System posed this question after making an assessment.
Upon hearing this query, Peter was somewhat startled—belief energy was surprisingly valuable; one jar was worth so much money.
At this thought, Peter began to pay more attention to the person who collected belief energy. After all, they had been gathering it for who knows how long, and must have accumulated a substantial amount. Surely, by selling it they would have a vast fortune. With such an amount of money in the Trading System, wouldn’t they procure some powerful offensive means?
Peter even wondered if the main reason the other party had not yet appeared was that they were preparing ways to deal with him, or possibly even acquiring a weapon capable of annihilating him.
One cannot enter carelessly!
While thinking this, Peter also kept an eye on the exchange of belief energy.
For Peter now, the most critical task was to make money. Only with a large amount of immortal crystals in hand could he arm himself.
Thus, Peter’s demand for land grew much stronger.
"Exchange for Breath Soil!"
Peter used all this belief energy to trade purely for Breath Soil.
Since it was so valuable, Peter no longer hesitated, exchanging jar after jar of belief energy.
Since this seemingly effortless energy was not needed by Peter at the moment, he directly carried out the exchange.
The land within the Elixir Sea expanded with each trade, and now it had reached the size of twenty acres.
That’s enough for now!
Peter knew that belief energy was definitely a good thing and wouldn’t hastily use it all up.
Seeing that he now had twenty acres of land, Peter temporarily suspended the exchanges.
At this time, Peter began to contemplate what he should plant next.
It was clear that Immortal Valley was not highly valuable, so for the sake of making more money, Peter naturally aimed to keep upgrading his planting endeavours.
It was then that the System issued a prompt.
"As the System owner has met the upgrade criteria, you have become a Level 2 Trading Holder. You are rewarded with one immortal seed and one acre of Breath Soil."
Following the prompt, Peter saw that his land had indeed expanded by another acre.
Looking at the newly acquired land, Peter could only give a wry smile. Though he now had the land, he lacked seeds and had to wait two more days for the Immortal Valley to mature before obtaining them.
Looking at the rewarded seed, he saw a display indicating it was a seed of Immortal Mist Grass.
Peter quickly opened the trading panel to check, and then he shook his head. He didn’t hold much hope for this seed. It was just the most ordinary kind, available to anyone who leveled up. However, due to its likely high demand, the value of this immortal grass was naturally far greater than that of Immortal Valley, more than three times as much.
So be it, it’s still better than Immortal Valley!
Peter then looked at the higher-valued seeds. Each seemed to require about ten thousand immortal crystals to acquire, which also took Peter by surprise.
After hesitating for a moment, Peter took out four jars of belief energy and used them to outfit himself with tools for land digging.
If he had to manage twenty-one acres of land without Immortal Artifacts, Peter had no idea when he would be able to cultivate it with just that Immortal blade. Now with Immortal Artifacts, Peter believed that the task would be much easier.
After some thought, Peter took out the materials he had and began the Refining process.
This time Peter aimed to create his own drip irrigation system—it was only with such a system that he could save more effort.
In this aspect, Peter found it much easier to proceed. It didn’t take long for him to produce a magic treasure-level drip irrigation system.
Operational tasks within the Elixir Sea were not difficult for Peter, and after installing it, he tested it and found it indeed usable.
Now having far outpaced others in terms of time spent, Peter wondered if he could stand a chance against that mysterious expert.
Peter was genuinely uncertain what sort of master his opponent was.
While Peter busied himself with these matters, he distinctly felt an energy fluctuation coming from the path’s location.
He’s coming!
Peter adjusted his breath, employing all kinds of defensive measures. Then he took position and turned his gaze towards the path.
The first one to appear was the Immortal Realm master whom Peter had been tracking.
This person appeared to be on alert the moment he materialized, his Divine Sense scoping out the vicinity.
Seeing his cautious behavior, Peter understood that these people had detected the changes here, and that this time, a true expert would surely come.
After a little while, the person sent something through the path, and then an even stronger energy fluctuation radiated from within.
Afterwards, an Immortal stepped out from the path.
Of course, Peter knew that this individual was not an actual Immortal, but rather a master with comparable fighting strength.
The man was entirely enveloped in belief energy, and as he appeared, it seemed as if the whole Star Planet was shaking.
Absolute expert!
Seeing the man’s condition, Peter realized he might have a tough time facing him, and was not necessarily sure of victory. After all, the man could be in possession of the Trading System, meaning he wouldn’t be without offensive weapons.
