Chapter 1063: Chapter 163 Faith Path_1
Peter Brown did not approach but tracked the man using his powerful Divine Sense from a distance.
After entering a temple, the person’s information suddenly disappeared.
How strange!
When Peter tried to investigate again, he did, indeed, completely lose track of the person’s information.
That makes no sense!
Seeing this, Peter felt the situation was rather perplexing. His Divine Sense was so strong; even if the other party was hiding somewhere on this Star Planet, he should have been able to detect him. How could he suddenly vanish?
Upon looking carefully at the temple again, Peter really did not see any formation he recognized.
No, I must go and see for myself.
With a flash, Peter headed towards the temple.
This was a temple far larger than the one he had modified.
After arriving, Peter saw a multitude of worshippers gathered here, probably due to some festival, bringing together a vast number of devotees from all directions.
The number of devotees almost seemed to overwhelm the entire planet.
Observing the people who were flying in on various flying vehicles, Peter realized they were not cultivators but people who used faith energy for cultivation.
They had pioneered an alternate Cultivation System!
After casting an Invisibility Talisman, Peter wrapped himself in the energy of faith, making it so that even the strongest expert could not detect his presence.
Having done this, Peter walked into the temple.
Inside, everyone was queuing to offer their prayers, which made it less crowded compared to the outside.
Peter quickly made his way further inside.
A formation?
Once inside, Peter discovered the temple was divided into inner and outer layers, the outer for public worship and the inner protected by a defensive formation.
Standing before the formation, Peter took a long look and a curious expression crossed his face; he found the formation was not a Cultivation Formation, but one constructed out of thin air with the energy of faith.
Such a peculiar way of creating a formation!
Peter became increasingly curious about the people here.
As various energies headed towards the formation, Peter did not cease his Investigation of it.
In a typical Cultivation World, one would be at a loss on how to deal with such a formation, but Peter had no such concerns. After probing with different types of energy, he found that Dao affinity energy was the most efficient.
As Dao affinity energy entered, Peter realized that Dao affinity blended with everything.
After the Dao affinity energy had traveled through and returned from all parts of the formation, Peter finally managed to understand the principle of the array’s construction.
In fact, once you understand one aspect, you understand it all; formation is essentially a principle of architecture. The formation here is similar to that of cultivators; it is just made to appear different due to the application of a different kind of energy.
After deducing the formation for a while, Peter drew some faith energy out of his Elixir Sea.
Then Peter continuously cast Hand Seals and, remarkably, managed to solidify the faith energy, after which several formation disks composed of faith energy appeared.
With a flick of his hand, the formation disks were thrown out.
As the formation disks flew out, a portal that seemed previously impenetrable within the formation appeared.
After Peter Brown stepped through, he collected the formation disks once more.
Upon entering, Peter was shocked to discover that the place was filled with a vast amount of belief energy, many times greater than the External World, even to the point of being liquefied.
Looking further inside, another formation became visible.
By the same token, Peter Brown manipulated his formation disks again, opening a slightly smaller portal.
Peter was not afraid of any ambush that might be lying in wait and, with his boldness and high skill, strode directly inside.
However, what Peter did not expect was that once inside, he found himself in an astonishingly large space where a tunnel-like energy hole that seemed to be a path was present.
Gazing at this luminous energy hole, Peter was somewhat taken aback as he, being someone who had a fair understanding of such matters, recognized it instantly as a stable space channel constructed from the energy of belief.
But where did it lead?
This time Peter hesitated. The opposition could casually dispatch someone of the Immortal Realm, and with his current cultivation, venturing inside might find him besieged by even more powerful beings from the Immortal Realm.
No, entering now would definitely invite trouble.
After pondering for a moment, Peter thought that it would be wrong not to collect such an abundant amount of belief energy created by the opposition. Thus, he headed towards the temple, directly replaced the God statue with one of himself, and started laying out formation after formation.
Knowing that opponents of the Immortal Realm existed, Peter further strengthened the configurations while setting up the formations.
He laid out one formation upon another in succession.
After completing his task, Peter found the place where the belief energy was stored.
Indeed, the Energy Containers here were larger and more numerous, each filled with a vast amount of belief energy.
Deploying his Cultivation Technique, Peter, like a whale swallowing, completely absorbed this belief energy into his Elixir Sea.
Not until he had devoured all the belief energy here did Peter begin to set up a channel for energy to be teleported to himself.
Although the entire process took quite some time, Peter unexpectedly found that the channel leading to a certain place was still devoid of any Personnel.
At this moment, Peter even felt an impulse to enter and see for himself what kind of place it was.
Better to covertly observe for now!
With that thought, Peter didn’t leave but instead created a space underground at this location, covered it with formations, left a sliver of Divine Sense to monitor the situation, and started sitting cross-legged as he waited.
This time, Peter was curious to see if any stronger beings would come from the opposition.
Unexpectedly, such cultivators had emerged from a lower cultivation realm, and it was unclear what they intended to do here.
Of course, Peter theorized that their main objective might be to harvest a great amount of belief energy.
The worshippers were inexhaustible, continuously arriving from various Star Planets, and this place seemed like a Holy Land. The belief energy entering his body felt overwhelmingly vast to Peter.
He hadn’t expected that Families collected belief energy with such ease!
Peter secretly admired the strategy these people used to collect belief energy.
While deploying the Energy Absorption Technique, Peter absorbed the energy while further deducing his own Cultivation Technique, feeling that he could completely integrate such energy into it.
