Chapter 1039: Chapter 139: Special Reward (Fifth Update) _1

Peter Brown had not expected that after absorbing a day’s worth of Immortal power, the Ruyi Furnace would revert to its original appearance, still with a dim exterior.

Peter picked up the Ruyi Furnace and looked it over again and again, but couldn’t see anything special about it. When he used his Divine Sense for investigation, he likewise could not ascertain the situation inside.

After some thought, Peter summoned the Immortal Fire once more and directed it towards the Ruyi Furnace.

This time, nothing happened; the Ruyi Furnace remained unaffected by Peter’s smithing, no matter what he did.

How strange!

Peter simply could not understand what kind of furnace the Ruyi Furnace really was.

When he tried to use the Ruyi Furnace for defense, Peter discovered some new changes; it could actually transform into the shape of armor according to his thoughts.

This truly was a treasure!

Peter did not continue experimenting; he knew that the Ruyi Furnace was not something he could understand right now, it was definitely a remarkable object, and might even surpass an Immortal Artifact.

He wouldn’t believe it was an ordinary object that could not recover after absorbing so much Immortal power, even if someone else had told him so.

No matter, with such an object at his disposal, whether it was Alchemy or refining artifacts, there would be no issue.

Originally, Peter had planned to refine in the void, but with the Ruyi Furnace at hand, he simply threw the Immortal Iron into the furnace.

The Immortal Fire began the smithing, and the Immortal Iron in the furnace quickly melted into liquid metal.

Seeing how easily the Immortal Iron was refined, Peter’s confidence in the Ruyi Furnace grew even more.

With the Immortal Iron now liquefied, the time had come for it to take shape.

After some thought, although he really wanted to make a weapon, Peter restrained that impulse and used powerful Immortal power to shape the liquid into a hoe.

Then he began to hammer it with Immortal power.

Refining with Immortal power did not involve using a mundane hammer to strike; rather, it involved continuous bombardment from all angles with powerful Immortal power.

After bombarding it continuously for 2 hours, the Immortal Fire had already extinguished, and an immortal hoe had taken shape within the furnace.

When Peter reached in and took out the newly refined Immortal hoe, he was somewhat excited. This was the first Immortal Artifact he had refined, and although it was just a hoe, it represented a monumental milestone for Peter. From now on, he knew he was capable of refining Immortal Artifacts.

After all, it was just an ordinary hoe without any celestial phenomena or Tribulation Lightning, and the Immortal hoe appeared silently in Peter’s hands,

Carrying the hoe to the Immortal Field, Peter dug into the ground, and the soil parted easily, much more so than with the fairy knife.

Unleashing his Immortal power, Peter managed to completely till an acre of the Immortal Field in a very short amount of time.

After some consideration, Peter did not go to hand in the refined Immortal hoe, but instead sowed the Immortal Valley once more.

After watering it with Concentrated Spirit Liquid, watching the Immortal Valley rapidly growing, Peter knew it would be fully mature in two days.

Having finished these tasks, Peter then picked up the Immortal hoe. Looking over the hoe, he saw that it was completely clean, as if new, without a single speck of mud on it.

Indeed, even a hoe, if it is an Immortal Artifact, is an extraordinary object.

I wonder what kind of reward I will receive this time!

Peter Brown placed the Immortal Hoe onto the jade platform.

As soon as Peter placed the Immortal Hoe on it, a faint light flashed by, and the Immortal Hoe disappeared.

Soon, a line of small characters appeared on the table.

"Immortal Hoe successfully refined into top grade, trial task completed, reward: one set Trading System."

As Peter read these displayed characters, he was completely astonished. A set of Trading System, what on earth is that!

While Peter was still trying to understand, something resembling a computer appeared on the table.

Looking at it, which was much like the tablet computers on Earth, Peter was even more bewildered, totally clueless about the situation.

When he reached out to pick up the tablet, an introduction about this computer-like object transformed into a beam of light and entered Peter’s brain domain.

"This is a resource exchange platform... On this platform, various trades can be freely conducted... Exchanging what one has for what one needs... Infinitely promoting everyone’s cultivation... The entire trading process is completely automated... The method of transaction is point-to-point path delivery... Absolutely safe and reliable... All settlements are conducted through immortal crystals..."

Peter was utterly dumbfounded and completely at a loss.

After a while, the introduction to the Trading System had been fully transmitted, and Peter was still somewhat dazed standing there.

It wasn’t about entering the Immortal Realm through trials, nor was it the Shennong Clan recruiting disciples. It was simply these sects sending out a Trading System.

However, Peter felt that this Trading System was extremely impressive, capable of conducting various trades with people of all levels, as long as one has immortal crystals, anything could be delivered.

How could such a thing exist? Does that Immortal Realm really exist?

Peter was full of questions.

The Trading System could be placed inside the Ring or the Elixir Sea. Peter picked up the Trading System and, following the instructions, dropped a drop of his blood onto it.

As Peter’s blood fell on it, the tablet began to absorb Immortal Power voraciously, then glowed radiantly. With a "beep" sound, the tablet powered on.

It really was a computer!

Seeing the display on the tablet’s screen, Peter’s eyes widened in shock.

Afterwards, Peter felt a kind of mental connection with the Trading System, realizing that this was a unique setup that came after binding. In other words, aside from him, no one else would be able to open it.

While Peter was studying the Trading System here, unbeknownst to him, the outside world was undergoing tremendous changes. As soon as he had bound the Trading System, a massive amount of Immortal Power began to flow from various immortal tombs towards the one he was in. The immortal tombs suspended in the starry sky started to collapse one by one, slowly dispersing, and the trapped cultivation experts were expelled, regaining their freedom.

Looking at the Thunder Star again, its outbursts had ceased. Then, as if attracted by a great force, the entire star retreated towards an enormous Black Hole and completely vanished.

Nobody knew what had happened. People started to panic as they looked at the vanished site. The event occurred so suddenly, a multitude of experts hovering in the air, witnessing the changes in location after location.

Many places witnessed the dispersal of immortal tombs, and people appeared with complex expressions in various locations.
