Suddenly, I Am Rich
Chapter 89: Not A Normal Condo

Chapter 89: Not A Normal Condo

Rosewood Residences didn’t look like a normal condominium building. It looked like a luxury hotel. There were bellboys at the door, people in suits checking in at a private desk in the lobby, and even an indoor waterfall on the far wall behind a seating area that looked like a private lounge.

"I’ve seen some places," Gray whispered in the air, "but this..."

The moment he stepped inside, the temperature dropped slightly to a cool, pleasant breeze. The marble floor under his shoes was so clean that it reflected the chandeliers above the ceiling.

Hana was guiding him throughout their walk.

"Welcome to Rosewood, Mr. Gray," she said with a light smile. "I hope you like the place."

"I definitely do," Gray murmured as he adjusted himself to everything around him.

They moved past the lobby and walked toward a private elevator. Hana swiped a card and keyed in a code.

"Each floor has its own access," she explained. "So you won’t be sharing an elevator with anyone, aside from the people you’re sharing the floor with."

Gray blinked. "That’s... a little excessive."

Hana gave a soft laugh. "It’s the standard here. Rosewood is known for privacy and exclusivity. In this building, each floor only has 2 units, and each one was far from each other to ensure privacy."

"I see..." Gray reluctantly nodded his head.

That must be the reason why this place was so expensive.

After a second passed, the elevator opened silently in front of them.

Gray stepped in first while Hana and Daniel followed him from behind.

The doors closed and they began to ascend. The elevator moved in the speed of light. Gray just blinked, and suddenly, they were already at the right floor.

’Damn...’ Gray was speechless.

Just like earlier, Gray stepped out first.

His eyes widened almost immediately.

The floor itself was massive. It was wway larger than what he expected from a residential building. The hallway was wide and sleek, lined with soft lights embedded into the ceiling and paintings along the walls.

There were only two hallways visible: one stretching to the left, and the other to the right.

"As I’ve said earlier, there are only two units per floor," Hana said behind him, as if reading his thoughts. "Left and right. Your unit is on the right, Sir."

Gray slowly turned, following her as she walked beside him down the right wing.

As they walked, he glanced over his shoulder once more. The other unit door was visible at the far end of the left hallway. It was a good distance away.

It was not too far, but far enough that even if both doors were open at the same time, you wouldn’t hear a thing.

It really was private.

Eventually, they stopped in front of a matte black door with a brushed gold handle and no visible lock or peephole.

Hana stepped forward, pulled out a keycard, and tapped it gently against the sensor. A soft click followed before the door slowly opened inward with a whisper.

Gray stepped in first.

And just like that—

"...Holy shit," he muttered under his breath.

The inside was nothing but insane.

The entrance led into a spacious, open-layout living room with high ceilings and full glass windows that stretched from floor to ceiling on the far side.

Sunlight poured in on the glass walls, lighting every surface and giving the space a warm and almost unreal glow.

A panoramic view of the West Arcadia skyline was framed perfectly in front of him. It was complete with the river in the distance and a peek at the city park below.

"This is..." Gray stepped forward slowly, his eyes widening more.

"The unit is 180 square meters," Hana explained, closing the door gently behind them. "There are three bedrooms, three full baths, a private study, and an open-concept living space. It comes fully furnished, and each piece was custom-selected for this model."

Gray looked around. The furniture wasn’t just expensive. It was also a masterpiece. They used muted greys and soft wood tones, sleek couches, warm lighting, and polished black finishes.

"It also includes central air, built-in speakers, floor-heating, and blackout curtains installed into the walls." Hana gestured toward a panel near the entrance. "All controllable from here—or through your phone."

Gray didn’t say anything as a response. He was just nodding, his brain was still absorbing everything.

"If you follow me," Hana said gently, leading him through the hall on the side, "we have the master bedroom to your right. There’s a full glass wall view, blackout curtains, private balcony access, and an en suite bathroom with a double vanity, soaking tub, rainfall shower, and a smart toilet system."

Hana opened the door to show what she was saying. When Gray saw it, he didn’t even know what to say.

The bedroom looked like it came out of a hotel catalog. The bed was king-sized. The walls were soft grey with a dark wood accent running along the edges. In the corner, a low-profile bookshelf and a reading lamp sat beside a lounge chair. The balcony was already cracked open slightly, letting in a faint breeze.

’This is huge...’ he muttered.

The whole master’s bedroom was the same size as their current apartment.

After that, they toured the other room of the house. Each one was impressively designed down to the small details.

The other two rooms were sleek, simple, and beautifully made. The kitchen had quartz countertops, induction burners, a wine fridge, a hidden dishwasher, and a ceiling vent that disappeared when not in use.

There was even a laundry room with two stacked machines, storage space, and a built-in folding station.

"And over here..." Hana opened another door at the far end of the hallway, "is your private access to the building’s internal amenities."

Gray raised an eyebrow.

"Private access?"

Hana stepped inside the corridor, revealing a polished hallway with fingerprint access on both ends.

"All Rosewood residents can access the upper floor through this passage. It leads to the sky amenities area—gym, lap pool, sauna, and rooftop garden. The access is separated per unit and only opens from the inside. You won’t have to go through the lobby to access it.

Gray stared at her.

"You’re serious?"

Hana smiled and chuckled. "Yup. I’m dead serious."

She stepped aside so he could see the biometric scanner.

Gray blinked slowly. He didn’t even want to ask what kind of money went into this kind of design. It was excessive, but... God, it was fucking nice.

"We also have 24/7 concierge service, valet parking, and daily housekeeping options," Hana added, her voice calm and professional. "All utilities are included in the service charge, which has already been covered for the first two years under your contract."

Gray was stunned silent.

Not because he didn’t understand what she said.

But because it felt so ridiculous.

This wasn’t a condo.

This was a damn palace.
