Chapter 312 - 312: Part 1: Meeting with Leader Gisela

Jacob then started the class. They discussed the different corrupted beasts. For the first time, every first-year student had come across the Wild Eyed Cats yesterday.

Such beasts can only be found in the inner part of the wilderness.

Time passed,

Instructor Jacob then left the class two hours later. Since it was post noon, everyone decided to hit the training center.

After leaving the department building, they were on their way to the training center. Jeremy was chatting with the others too.

Betsy Lowe was sharing her conversation she had with her grandfather. Everyone wanted to meet Jeremy Night.

Not only her, Daniel expressed that his parents wanted to see him as well.

Jeremy raised his eyebrows in surprise. He told them that he would tell them later because he had a feeling that something was going to happen next.

Soon, they reached the joint training facility and entered different practice rooms. The other students were quite surprised.

Jeremy Night is a big celebrity now. Even if the seniors ordered them to do something, they wouldn't do it anymore.

Inside the room, Jeremy decided to practice the katana blade arts.

In the following days, he continued his routine. He would go to the library to select blade and sword methods to learn.

Apart from the "Triple Rapid Cuts," he wanted to learn a few other methods. He realized his shortcomings during his fight against the Two Tier-4 Corrupted Beasts.

If not for the new starlight energy, he wouldn't have been able to slay those beasts.

Time passed,

Dusk fell, and he exited the joint training facility and was on his way to the dormitory.

Buzz!

He received a sudden call. He took the digital device out and saw the person who was calling him. It was a new number.

But he answered the call the next moment.

"Jeremy Night, come to the restaurant next to the university."

He heard a beautiful voice. But he immediately recognized the voice of the person it belonged to.

"Yes, leader," Jeremy uttered unknowingly.

The person who spoke was none other than Gisela Reyes. She came here after completing her busy work.

Here, Jeremy looked at his attire. His clothes were drenched in sweat. He quickly bolted toward the dormitory the next moment.

About 20 minutes later,

He exited the university gate and came to the main street. There were flying cabs parked on the platform.

He spoke to the driver before entering his car.

Swoosh!

The cab driver started driving the vehicle toward the destination.

Not long after, the driver dropped him in front of the restaurant located next to the university. Jeremy stepped out and paid the fare to the driver.

He then turned toward the restaurant and started walking toward it. He arrived at the door and opened it to enter.

Creak!

As he walked inside, his eyes wandered around to find the leader. He had been studying and living at the university, but he had never come to this particular restaurant.

Buzz!

The next second, he received a call. When he attended it,

"Come to the 2nd floor!"

He heard her voice. The call ended the next second. Then he looked around before finding the elevator to the second floor.

Shortly afterward,

When he arrived on the second floor, he found the whole floor was covered with transparent glass walls.

He then saw Team Leader Gisela sitting at the corner. He opened the door and started walking toward her.

From beginning to end, no staff took notice of him. Everyone was busy serving the customers on the first floor, but there was no one on the second floor.

Jeremy came to her and sat in the chair opposite her.

"Kid, you have become famous now," Gisela said with a smile.

"It changes nothing," Jeremy replied.

Her eyes flashed with approval.

She then said, "I have come here to discuss something important. Your permanent residence status is ready. You can shift with your family to City A in the 10th zone. We have arranged residency status for them."

Hearing that, Jeremy was shocked. He hadn't expected this to happen so soon.

Gisela saw through his thoughts and said, "You are famous now. Not only here, but in the top 10 zones as well."

"Since you have officially joined our Shadow Moon Organization, the city administration has fast-tracked the application process," she added.

Jeremy's eyes flickered in understanding. His fame had brought the permit faster.

"I have one more thing to discuss. The head of our organization wants you to join right away," Gisela said while looking at him with a direct gaze.

Jeremy was dumbfounded because this came out of nowhere. He had already told them about his condition: he wouldn't leave until the end of this year.

He wanted to complete at least the first year of studies here.

Before he could say something, she started to speak.

"I know about your condition. But it's different now. Your talent and strength have been exposed. You will be sought after by more powerful organizations and Tier -9 Beast Tamers."

"The head of our organization feels that if you are in our organization, no one will force you to join them. But anything can happen here."

"If any Tier-9 Beast Tamer or big organization comes here to recruit, then it would become difficult for us to stop them," she revealed.

Jeremy was stunned. He had forgotten about their difficulties as well. It was true that her concerns were genuine. It could happen.

But he was struggling inside. His mind was not set to leave right now. But what if some organization forced him to choose them and leave?

Gisela saw that Jeremy Night was considering his options. She knew that the kid was not stupid. He could think for himself.

She then thought of something before saying, "Just remember not all organizations are filled with good people. Not all Tier-8 and Tier-9 Beast Tamers are good."

Her words woke him up. He almost forgot that there were corporations like Goldcorp and illegal trade organizations like Mighty Order.

He didn't want to come across them before he completely grew up.
