Chapter 115: Warning
Chapter 115: Warning
"Your father might not be too happy with your action today," Silas said.
"It’s fine." Evan said and waved his hands. "I’m used to being scolded whenever I pay a visit to Granduncle anyway."
Every single time Evan pay a visit to Patrick and his father knew, he would be scolded. It seemed that the Black Family Patriarch didn’t want Evan to get close to his granduncle. But Evan always felt that his granduncle was the best.
He wanted to be as powerful as his granduncle.
"So be it." Silas shook his head and then sighed. "I’m going back first."
"Ah yeah."
Leon turned around and pursed his lips, readying himself to be scolded by his father again. Over the years as he grew up, he had been scolded by his father several times and if Leon had to say, he was slowly getting used to it.
While Leon was going back, Silas walked on the street and sighed deeply.
He was originally planning to go back and rest after seeing his mother and helped her to clean up the store. But before he could see his mother, he was stopped by a member of the Black Family and asked to come and take Leon out of Patrick’s residence.
’Things will be fine, right?’
Now that these children were all his students, Silas hoped that they would not experience anything bad and faced with many other things.
The matter of Patrick... was something that even the Fourth Head of the Wansu City and the Black Family Patriarch didn’t wish to leak out at all.
The reason?
It was because of Patrick’s actions in the past.
Silas had heard of what Patrick did from his father and he also felt a bit complicated. Because those who had seen Patrick could never imagine what this old man had done in his youth. Right now, Patrick looked like an ordinary kind old man and not someone who was so domineering and fought against countless people in the past.
Many people feared Patrick.
Otherwise, they would not have put Patrick in this confined space and watched over him. Patrick himself also didn’t mind and cooperated with them.
With his strength, it would have been easy to leave if he wanted to.
But what happened afterwards would be things that no one wanted to happen.
When Silas thought about it, he just had a headache. These things were not something that he should have to worry about in the first place.
In the end, Silas shook his head.
Things should be fine and nothing would happen.
In the White Family Residence, Evan told what happened in the Black Family Residence to his father. He had some suspicion when he first saw Patrick and felt that these things should be told to his father instead.
The White Family Patriarch’s Brother was listening to his son’s words.
"Patrick..." If the White Family Patriarch’s Brother had to say, he still remembered this name very clearly. Because this was the person who had caused many things to go wrong many years ago and his deeds were spread far and wide.
No one didn’t know Patrick.
At least, the older generations knew.
The White Family Patriarch’s Brother didn’t expect his son would meet Patrick in this way. Many people had never heard of Patrick again. They knew that he was trapped in the formation for years and hadn’t been heard for a long time, but no one knew for sure what his situation was.
For all they knew, he might have died.
"Father," Evan called out.
"It’s fine Evan." the White Family Patriarch’s Brother said after some time. He sighed. "He wouldn’t do anything to you."
"How do you know, Father?" Evan asked in confusion.
"Because if he wants to, he can do it many years ago." the White Family Patriarch’s Brother shook his head and patted Evan’s shoulder.
But why did he want to see Evan and the others?
Is it because of Leon?
*sigh*
Forget it, he will just see how things develop.
For now, there was no point in worrying. The team was already set and they will do their missions. There was nothing that he could do anyway.
...
While Evan talked with his father, Aya went back to her residence and found her father was in the living room. He looked in her direction and said, "Did you go and see Patrick Black?"
"Yes, Father," Aya replied.
The White Family Patriarch should have been informed about this matter before. But looking at his expression, it seemed to be quite tired.
Aya knew that her father was busy.
His ability was more powerful than other members of the White Family. There was no doubt that if there was anything that needed investigation, the White Family Patriarch would be the first one to be called.
"Stay away from him," the White Family Patriarch said. He didn’t want his daughter to be involved with the Black Family anymore. It was already bad enough that Evan and Aya were close with Leon and Silas and the White Family Patriarch didn’t want them to add more.
"I know, Father."
Aya pursed her lips.
In normal times, there was no way she would be able to see Patrick Black anymore anyway.
The main reason why they could see him this time was because Leon brought them to see Patrick. But if one had to say, there was no way they could see him again in normal times.
It was not like she would pay a visit to the Black Family Residence’s area so often in the future.
After saying a few more words, the White Family Patriarch left.
Aya went back to her room and sighed. She didn’t know much about their conflicts and felt that as time passed, she would inevitably be dragged into their messes.
Aya sighed and chose not to think too much.
As long as it didn’t involve her, she shouldn’t pay too much attention to this matter.
