Chapter 481: Chapter 323: The Endless Night (Part 4)_2

"Now is not the time to let it enter the fray," Malin said to Mana, who had returned to his shoulder.

The World Tree Sapling turned into a little fairy nodded.

The sound of footsteps causing vibrations came from the corridor.

Malin turned his head, and psychic energy quietly closed the door.

Fio quickly climbed up the door, using itself to block the gun hole.

Lorrin, Mana, and Melo hung three branches on the wall.

Malin raised his gun, watching a line of four people appear in the corridor on their side.

Then came a fifth person, who was limping.

The World Tree Saplings immediately changed their targets.

Malin aimed the gun at the last one—now, he was just waiting for an ignorant victim to open the gates to hell.

"What more do Harold and Dagu have to talk about," the two Chaotic Believers at the front were conversing.

"Maybe they’re discussing how to share the wife and kids of the poor guy who’s going to replace Dagu," another believer replied, eliciting a sleazy laugh from everyone in the corridor.

"Good stuff is meant to be shared, they can’t hog it all!" The last one, the one with the limp, said, laughing.

"You better heal your leg first, a man can’t do without his legs," someone teased.

"Enough with that, can we talk about something serious? Let’s go in and talk to them," the leader said when he reached the door, simultaneously reaching for the doorknob.

As he turned the doorknob, he looked back to scold his subordinates but saw something elongated piercing through the wall.

He instinctively prepared to sound the alarm, only to notice that his subordinates were showing expressions of shock.

In the next second, a cold plant tendril wrapped around his neck.

Just like it did with his companions.

Before he collapsed to the ground, strength fading, he saw the one with the limp fall down flat, his leg breaking as if hit by something from the other side of the wall.

Then the door opened, and the leader, struggling on the ground with the vine around his neck, saw a twisted figure.

Advanced Invisibility Spell!

The next second, a dagger plunged into his heart, smoothing over his fear and pain.

Tainted by the divine Positive Energy, sacred pure white flames burst from his eyes, and by the time he hit the ground, the sacred flames had turned the Chaotic Believer to ashes.

By the time the leader sprawled himself on the carpet, Malin had already approached the limping Chaotic.

Fio tied his hands and then hung him from the corridor ceiling.

"Pah! Damn believers in a false god!" The man attempted to spit at Malin, but his spit was enveloped in psychic energy and wiped back onto his own face.

Malin didn’t wait for the man to dry his own spit, as Lorrin and Melo directly burrowed into his kneecaps.

The corridor had become a silent domain, the outside world absolutely unable to hear what was happening inside, while the man screamed, struggled, and wailed until his legs turned to ash under the invasion of the sacred.

"Where are Dagu and Harold," Malin asked.

"They’re, they’re on the third floor," the man struggled to say.

Looking at the red cross under him which signified lies, Malin shook his head, "Why can’t you understand that telling the truth earlier could spare you from suffering."

Lorrin burrowed into his left eye, and the man began to struggle violently in an instant, but Melo covered his mouth.

After the not-so-lengthy execution, Malin continued to ask, "Where are they."

"Really, I watched them go up to the third floor!" the man replied in agony.

Malin fell silent for a while, looking at the red cross under the guy’s feet, he finally pointed a finger, and Mana immediately burrowed into the man’s forehead.

The Chaotic struggled for a good while before finally becoming still.

"Where are they."

"Second floor, conference hall, the Fear Beast Squad is on the third floor," the man now spoke without reservation.

This time, the man turned puppet began to tell all he knew.

Malin placed three High-energy Fish Blasting Tools in the man’s chest, and the next moment, his severed leg began to regenerate. Soon enough, the man limped back the way he came alongside his new companions and left the corridor.

"Hassel, Jack, what are you guys doing out here," someone in the hall asked curiously, not having seen Fio emerging from the shadows, nor noticing the other ominous figure beside it.

"No one capable of handling things, they sent us to feed the Fear Beasts!" Hassel, the limping man, responded.

There was laughter, but still, someone comforted him, "Don’t worry, at least you’re not on their menu."

Malin, now with a view of the area, noticed there were a total of twelve... perhaps what could be called beings in the hall.

In the normal view of his left eye, they all were humanoid creatures, but through Psychic Vision, these ugly beings had the appearance of non-human souls.

Flipping the 2x scope on the rifle aside, Malin tilted the rifle sideways, the red dot sight on the weapon started to function, and then the under-barrel blue glow indicator also started, the blue light tracing along the barrel.

· Clovis has spotted your targets.

· Take it easy, wait for Mana to open the bullet path for you.

Malin moved carefully while looking towards the grand glass wall by the entrance of the hall—rich people’s favorite thing, transparent, providing lighting, a signature of wealth.
