Seeing the smiles on the two old men’s faces, He Zhilan felt a touch of sourness in her heart. Perhaps, this was the greatest and final blessing that fate had bestowed upon her in terms of family affection.

The wedding banquet ended around one-thirty. After sending off the two elderly gentlemen, He Zhilan and He Teng personally escorted He Teng’s comrades-in-arms to the hotel entrance, watching them get into their vehicles before turning back.

In the hotel, Lin Chan’s family and the guests from He Family’s hometown were still waiting in the banquet hall. Upon returning, He Zhilan overheard Lin Chan discussing the matter of the photographs.

Lin Chan had brought a camera today and was discussing with everyone how many copies of the photos to print when he saw He Zhilan and He Teng approaching. He asked, "What do you think about the newspaper? I think we should release the news of your marriage to prevent others from exploiting it. Why not select one of your silhouette photos and release it along with the news? It would be beneficial for your company as well."

"I’ve been thinking the same," He Zhilan nodded, "He Teng can’t show his face in the papers due to his job, so let’s use a photo of our back profiles. This will reassure everyone and preempt any manipulative stories from the Gu Family regarding my remarriage."

Saying this, He Zhilan looked at He Teng and sought his opinion with her eyes. If he had no objections, they would proceed as planned.

"It’s up to you." He Teng didn’t comment much on using only a silhouette photo. He didn’t understand the business dealings of He Zhilan’s company, so he refrained from speaking out of turn or interfering.

"Then that’s settled!" He Zhilan nodded and then added, "Jennifer called me the other day, asking me to visit S City when I have the time to discuss manufacturing perfume for Lanteng Company."

"You’re going to S City?" He Teng looked directly at He Zhilan.

"Yes, in a week," He Zhilan replied with a smile, "I’m quite interested in what Jennifer mentioned. She said she has friends who are very knowledgeable in this area and are planning to come over to our country soon. Knowing about Lanteng Company’s plantation, they brought up the topic with Jennifer."

"That’s great!" Chen Yun joined in, "Xing Ye and Bian Xiulin should be able to return to the capital in the next few months. If you have anything in S City, Xing Ye can help you arrange everything."

"That’s what I was thinking. With Xing Ye there, many things are easier to handle, which is why I’m eager to go. Otherwise, when Xing Ye’s back, certain matters won’t be as easily managed," He Zhilan responded, then noticing He Teng furrowing his brow, she asked, "Brother, you’re not also going to S City on a business trip this time, are you?"

After tidying up the hall, the group left the banquet room. Lin Chan and the others left the hotel directly, while He Zhilan and her party returned to their hotel rooms.

Once back in the room, He Teng quickly stepped forward and held He Zhilan, who was about to wash her face, "First, let me have a good look at you before you wash your face."

"Ah?" He Zhilan was momentarily stunned, then let out a soft laugh, stepped closer to He Teng, lifted her skirt, and did a twirl, smiling, "It’s been an afternoon, haven’t you had enough of looking?"
