Talia could feel her heartbeat racing and pushed him away. She could feel her face burning out of embarrassment.

"Stop pushing!" he held her hand and he really couldn’t stop grinning. And she looked so adorable with her face red like apple.

He placed one of his hand on her waist and pulled her closer to him while holding the back of her neck with his other hand and kissed her.

Soon the temperature in the room increased so much that Talia felt like she’d be swallowed whole by the hungry man nibbling on her.

"Come on! The bed is not made..."

"Are the sheets necessary?" Arthur’s hand tried to slip inside her robe and Talia could feel the scorching heat of his palm on her chest.

"Yes, stinky. Now go and take a shower and come back,"

She negotiated for sometime and got herself out of his hold.

"Fine! "

He took a step away from her but he couldn’t help but turn and kissed her once more.

He really couldn’t leave her alone. Those sweet lips that tasted better than anything he had ever had and her alluring scent... He just wanted to lick her all over. He just wanted to pour all the love he held for her onto her just then and there.

"Fred..." Talia pushed him away to buy herself some more time to prepare herself. She just wanted to become one with him badly too.

"Don’t fall asleep," Arthur walked away while pointing at her.

"Okay!"

Talia sighed in relief and quickly made the bed. She couldn’t stop smiling as she did that. Arthur’s face came to her mind and his voice echoed in her ears and she couldn’t wait.

She had a lot to talk to him about especially about her meeting with Prince Edward. The nobles seem to be plotting something and she wanted to earn him about that. But she knew he is smart and her grandfather is also smart and they probably already figured out everything.

She checked her phone and there were a lot of messages from Stacy related to work and she just ignored the messages all together.

She is on leave! She’s not going to work!

Talia’s heart filled with newly blossomed love, couldn’t even think about anything else than Arthur.

Then there was Rebecca sent her details about the shopping plans and Talia bit her lips as she had completely forgot about it. She had told about an upscale toy store in the Levitt Centre, a most prominent place in the city that would always be crowded.

She really didn’t want to go shopping with Rebecca anymore and wanted to spend more time with Arthur. Also she doesn’t like crowded places and walking around a lot.

But then again she promised Rebecca first.

Talia was in a serious dilemma and in the end she replied to Rebecca that she’d be there.

Keeping promises are an important part of being a noble.

Talia sighed and placed her phone on the nightstand and leaning on the headboard of the bed, waited for Arthur.

She had a lot to talk to him about.

Slipping inside her red dress, Olivia asked Jared now staring at his laptop with a smile.

The bright sun fell on his bronze skin making a nice shimmer and contouring his muscles perfectly well.

The term ’like a bronze statue’ suited him pretty well.

" Yes," Jared grinned and soon he bit the corners of his lip in deep contemplation.

"Is there trouble.?" Olivia asked. Being with him for a long time, she knew every bit of his gestures and their meanings. He is a bit stressed right now.

"Yeah, the Levitt Center is a hard place to get her," he poured himself a glass of gin and took a sip.

"You didn’t have to worry... The guys I referred are the best. They will get their mark no matter how. Don’t worry," she sat beside him and hugged his arm and placed her head in his shoulder.

"Don’t underestimate my hate for her Jared... She humiliated me in front of everyone before... I will not let her go, trust me" she clenched her jaws.

That Talia was the one who exposed her past mistake in front of everyone and made her lose face.

Yeah, she posted in the dark web that she’d sell her virginity for a million dollars when she was sixteen. Her father said he won’t pay for her plastic surgery and she was in desperate need for money.

"Did that hacker... What’s his name... Contact you again?" she asked.

"No. Who knows that Measoles might have been a spy from her side. Are you sure that Edward doesn’t doubt you? I hardly believe his words that the Lockhart family is keeping her alive for a hard retribution," Jared picked up his phone and got up from the couch suddenly, almost making Olivia fall.

Her face twitched for a moment as she felt he is always distant from her and not cares about her genuinely but she soon composed herself.

He’ll come around.

" No, he’s not that bright! " Olivia let out a chuckle filled with mockery. " He is still believing that the Council is on his side... All of them because he is "their Prince". But that is good too since he now convinced Talia that the Council is against her Company," she stood up and walked to him.

" You trust me, right? "

" Of course I do! " Jared locked his phone seeing her approaching.

" You are my rock, " he hugged her while his eyes filled with darkness.
