Chapter 149: - A little challenge-
Smooch!
Max stood speechless as he gawked at the sight in front of him, unable to take off his eyes.
It wasn’t an extremely intimate scene, of battling tongues or pressed lips like you would imagine.
Rather, it seemed like a casual freek funny moment between two siblings.
’Aunt Sarah?’
Max’s eyes caught the wet pink strands that clung to her forehead, her hair tied in a rough knot.
Holding open the pink towel that should have clung tight around her chest, covering her wonderful size bosoms. She froze.
Max saw his other Aunt, the most reserved of them, Avery.
Holding up a set of neatly arranged clothes in her arms, she appeared to have been unpacking before she decided to perhaps, teasingly place a kiss on her elder sister’s nipples for fun.
For a moment, it looked as if time had stopped.
"It’s not what you-"
"I’m sorry." Before his Aunt Avery, Ava and Annabelle’s mom could voice out that it was a misunderstanding. Max closed the door.
’Fuck.’ Causing inwardly, Max stepped away and walked to the next door which was no doubt the room he was searching.
With the clear image of Aunt Sarah’s massive tits and shaven area between her legs in his head, he saw Evelyn preparing what seemed to be her bed.
Just like the previous room, this room was spacious granted that it had a glass that presented a good view of the sea and rocks.
"You’ll sleep here- if you don’t mind. Dad said he’ll make do elsewhere that we can have the room all to ourselves. If you don’t mind, I’ll like us to combine all of the beds together."
Shortly after he entered, Evelyn gestured towards his little luggage by the side of the room.
"Okay."
Nodding, Max walked towards one of the beds and pushed it forward to Evelyn’s surprise.
"--Thanks." momentarily speechless by his strength, she said moving out of the way while he pushed the next bed.
After he was done, Max saw that all three beds were pushed together and nodded at Evelyn.
"The shower’s got a little problem but I think dad’s already fixed it." she said, pointing at the sleek wooden door at one corner of the room.
"Thanks."
...
Evening.
The sky was deepening to lavender when the long wooden table on the villa’s stone terrace began to fill with laughter, the clinking of glasses, and the scent of grilled lemon and rosemary.
Aunt Sarah, Raven, Chloe, Avery, his dad.
Noah, Evelyn, Annabelle,Daisy, Blake, Daniel, Olivia, and Ava. Everyone gathered, eating while raising several conversations between themselves.
Ivy was the only one absent after taking injury as a result of the pounding he gave last night.
Interrupting his quiet thoughts...
"You know," said one of the aunts, lifting her glass-
"This is already one of my favorite trips. Fresh air after a long while and the kids not glued to screens for once."
At her words, everyone instantly threw a glance at the chubby Daisy who had a book in her hand. A surprising scene.
"Pfft-" Aunt Raven burst out into lively laughter at the sight of the book in her daughter’s hand. Like a chain reaction, Olivia followed suit then the other two.
Laughter bubbled across the table as the rest of them either became influenced.
Seeing Daisy look glum, the laugh gradually quietened. Leaving the air light and humorous.
The dining continued, Daniel and Blake soon locked in a lighthearted debate about whether grilled sea bass counted as "real food" or "just fancy fish," while Annabelle, Ava and Olivia whispered something that made them both cover their mouths in silent giggles.
Scooping a serving of the seafood fregola, Max tasted it before passing it to Evelyn’s side dish.
’It smells like the sea and tomato vines, with steam rising between shells and shrimp tails.’ Mac thought.
Just then, Evelyn returned to her seat beside him, throwing him a glance as she saw the seafood fregola
"It’s good... you can try it." Max said, his voice low just for her to hear.
Glancing at the dish then back at his face. She looked hesitant but then picked it up.
"Nice-"
"A glass or few doesn’t hurt. Take this."
Bringing a strong whiff of alcohol to his father’s voice reached him, his outstretched arm right before his face with a filled glass of alcohol.
This action caused the table to quiet down a little as everyone turned to Max. The most quiet of cousins if ranked behind Daisy.
Still, his usually introverted personality drew a sense of curiosity towards him. Most especially his Aunties.
The questions ringing in their heads would probably be ’Did he take after his father’s likeness for strong booze?’ while he already gave this crown to Evelyn after her relationship turned messy. No one else knew.
Staring at the glass, Max took it without a word and began gulping it down.
"Ggrrgl-" gurgling sound came as his Adam’s apple moved.
From the corners of his eyes, Max could see the focused attention on him. And the most intense ones came from his aunts. Most especially his two Aunts, Sarah and Avery who he caught perking, smooching tits.
Gbam!
When he was done, Max dropped the glass on the table and closed his eyes shut for a moment before his slightly flushed face disappeared.
’Cunning bastard.’ cursing his father inwardly, Max forced himself to stay clear headed and unaffected.
Because unlike the alcoholic smell the drink gave, which was rum. It had been mixed with a high amount of distilled spirit.
"My son isn’t the only man, yeah alright. Why don’t you boys pass over your glass?"
Following the silence that ensued after Max drank the glass fill. His father turned to the women with a grin on his face , waving the bottle to their face as he winked at Noah, Blake and Daniel who all seemed to want to taste it too. Obviously challenged by Max’s tolerance.
"Bring it on, Noah, pass your cup." The person to respond was Aunt Raven who herself gestured for her cup to be filled before her son.
"Hold up."
Realizing his father’s mischievousness , Max watched him stand up and fill Aunt Raven’s glass.
Seeing their mother’s didn’t seem to reject either Blake and Daniel stretched out their glass.
"Here you go boys." Clearly having referred to his son as a man, his father calling the rest of them boys could be described as mocking them.
Not holding back after they had their glass filled, each directly attempted to gulp it in one gulp.
"Tricky bastard." Gripping the glass tight, Aunt Raven’s face had become a pink flush as she heaved slightly over the extended period of time she held her breath drinking.
"Oh really." Hearing this, Max saw his father release a tricky smile. His eyes locked on Noah and co for their reaction.
"Pfft!" Barely drinking the glass half way, Blake quickly turned and spitted out the remaining content in his mouth.
"Fuck!" He cursed as he slammed the glass.
"Argh!"
Noah followed, squeezing his eyes shut, he grunted and dropped the glass. There was a little more than half remaining in the glass.
Seeing this Olivia and the rest appeared shocked.
Turning their focus to Daniel-
"Argh!!!" Daniel exhaled loudly and dropped the empty glance. His eyes had changed in color from squeezing them shut. His face flushed, he raised a thumbs up at Max.
"Wow." Olivia and the girls turned to the bottle in his father’s hand, gulping at it.
"Welcome to the men’s world."
Rather satisfied than disappointed, his father grinned at them.
"What kind of tricky man are you?" Aunt Raven spoke, examining the glass in her hand as she took another whiff of it.
"Highly distilled spirit and rum. You not spitting it out is a high pass." His father said.
"What a surprise Dan." Noah upon seeing Daniel’s empty glass, gave up.
Only Blake looked highly disgusted.
In order to satiate the girls curiosity-
"Here you go."
The remaining content in the bottle was poured into their cup.
Not long after that-
