Following his talk with Miss Linda, he searched up classic restaurants in London. Eventually choosing one with tranquil surroundings and a secluded VIP booth.

After he was done, Max sent her the time and address.

Staring at her last message, Max released a quick sigh and dropped the phone.

Turning to the bathroom afterwards, he came out a few minutes later with a towel wrapped around his waist.

Turning off the light, he decided against locking the door and laid on the bed.

Staring through the window, the moon was bright outside and there was a subtle cascadence flowing through the window. Somehow easing the impenetrable darkness to a visible extent.

"System—" Max muttered, letting out a small sigh as he pondered about the last Quest the system gave him.

Closing the door behind him with a subtle intake of breath, Max thought back to the three mischievous girls who wanted to relive the fantasy of what happened yesterday by inviting him to another ball game.

"I’m busy," he responded.

Fortunately, Blake chipped in and grabbed one of the tickets saying he wanted to go. Seeing they had lost, without being able to refute Blake since it would arouse suspicion, they left for the game.

Currently, Max was alone inside the room with intent on gaming to his heart’s content. However, the moment he turned on his PC, two polite knocks landed on his door and forced him to stand up.

"So, we were going to a game feast and thought you would want to tag along."

Opening the door to see it was Daniel, Ivy’s younger brother, the same age as him. The former didn’t wait for him to breathe before stating the reason he was here.

"Hello..."

Behind him, Noah raised his arm with a casual smile to signify his presence. While Daisy merely glanced up and continued to scroll her phone.

"Let me get my phone—" seeing their lineup, Max turned back without closing the door to bring his phone. Joining them a moment later, they walked through the hallway in silence, an opposite atmosphere to Olivia and co.

Beep! Beep!

Flicking the key, one of the black sedans parked in the garage flashed its rear and they all got in with no question of which of their parents it belonged to.

Noah and Daisy sat in the front seats, leaving the back for him and Daniel, who simply brought out a pod and inserted them in his ears before focusing on his phone.

’What a strange group.’

If Olivia, Ava and Annabelle were Aries, Gemini, and Leo. Then Noah, Daisy and Daniel would be Virgo, Scorpio, Aquarius, and Pisces.

’Definitely my kind of group.’

As the car drove out of Riders’ private estate, the lively city of London came into view later.

After almost thirty minutes, the car pulled up to the curb.

"We’re here," Daniel said, yanking the earbud from his left ear as he pushed the door open.

Max followed suit, squinting his eyes a little as he finally escaped the view of the tinted glass.

They had stopped in front of a modern, glass-fronted building tucked discreetly behind a line of tall hedges with just a single black banner over the doorway with the words "Arcadia — Private Access" etched in blue. Nothing like the public ceremonial gathering he imagined.

Glancing back, he discovered Noah and Daisy were still in the car with no motion of getting out.

"We’ll catch you guys later," Noah called from within the car as he smoothly drove off.

"Sure," Daniel responded in a casual tone, causing Max to glance at him.

"Well... they’ll be back to get us. You don’t need to worry." Sensing his puzzled gaze, Daniel responded with a realizing smile.

Nodding in response, he walked beside the former towards the entrance of the building while adjusting his jacket.

As if reacting to their presence, the heavy brass doors swung open to reveal two youths in masks waving their thumbs up.

Stepping inside, they were presented with soft LED lights that traced the corners of the room. A sleek and dimly lit space, with velvet lounge chairs, a few glowing game stations, and a long marble bar at the back.

The guests — no more than thirty — were scattered in small clusters, drink in hand, chatting or locked in intense face-offs over custom-built gaming tables.

Daniel greeted a couple of familiar faces with nods and fist bumps. Suddenly jovial and active.

Watching from the back as he quietly scanned the room, Max couldn’t help but think if this cousin of his was secretly a gangster.

From the look of things, this was a private gathering to have fun.

’High-end consoles, good drinks... no girls?’

Taking another scan of the youths gathered here, there was indeed no girl. Just as he was about to ponder the strange oddity, Daniel turned towards him.

"Let’s grab a drink first, then hit the booth."

He said as they both walked towards the counter with a guy

serving drinks.

Shortly after that, they went towards a console.
