SSS Class Awakening: Start With A God-Level Choice System -
Chapter 77: Side Mission: Road To Zombie Overlord (SSS+)
Chapter 77: Side Mission: Road To Zombie Overlord (SSS+)
After completing the Side Mission: Road To Zombie Emperor (SS+), Ainsworth was the one who received the 15 D+ Stat Crystals due to him being the team leader of Eleutheron Eclipse.
He already knew that Rian and Dante must have already received their SS-rank skill book from the Voice of The World.
Although the D+ Stat Crystals were useless to him, Ainsworth still split it into three shares and took his own share which was 5 D+ Stat Crystals.
After all, most awakeners only have 5 upgradeable stat attributes namely Strength, Endurance, Agility, Magic, and Aura. In Ainsworth’s case, he also had the Viral Energy stat attribute but that was exclusive to him who has the S-rank Evolver sub-class.
Aside from that, Awakeners also have three stat attributes that could be upgraded but not with normal stat crystals, and those three stat attributes were Spirit, Charm, and Luck.
Even if he didn’t need those 5 D+ Stat Crystals, they could still be sold for money so he still kept them while the other 10 D+ Stat Crystals would be given to Rian and Dante.
’I have already informed Rian and Dante about the allocation regarding the D+ Stat Crystals even before the side mission was completed so I don’t have to give it to them personally.’
’Since they are the High Apostles of the Church of Evolution, the High Priests and Priests who can use teleportation can act as a delivery man and send these crystals to Rian and Dante. Those two are still staying in another country’s cathedral due to training with the High Priests so that makes its delivery more convenient.’
Waving his hand, Ainsworth took out 10 D+ Stat Crystals and stored them inside a sealed box.
Using his Hive Mind to contact a High Priest who could use teleportation, Ainsworth informed him about the task of delivering the box to Rian and Dante.
Teleporting the box to a table in Basement 2 since his believers were forbidden to step into his private floor in Basement 3, Ainsworth noticed that the High Priest had already teleported and picked up the box before disappearing again to deliver it to Rian and Dante.
He wasn’t worried about the High Priest being ambushed and the contents of the box being used by others.
After all, even if someone could miraculously defeat the High Priest, the terrans still couldn’t use the D+ Stat Crystals as only Awakeners and other beings could use them.
Although non-awakeners could use them since the essence of the crystal was to improve a certain stat attribute, those who could use them were definitely not unqualified terrans.
Only species and races comparable to the human earthlings could use them like the demons from the Demon World who would frequently invade Earth.
After Ainsworth sent the 10 D+ Stat Crystals for delivery, he no longer worried about it as Rian and Dante would undoubtedly receive it.
Spending a few minutes on his bed, Ainsworth soon heard a notification sound in his mind which came from the Voice of The World.
-Ding!
[Eleutheron Eclipse has triggered a Side Mission!]

[Side Mission: Road To Zombie Overlord (SSS+)]
[Objective: At this point, you should have already become a Zombie Emperor. With that in mind, as a Zombie Emperor, you realize that it’s not the end of your zombie evolution yet. Become a Zombie Overlord and after becoming a Zombie Overlord, expand your Zombie Empire and subdue at least three Zombie Emperors are your generals.]
[Alternative Objective: Tell your controlled Zombie Emperor to work harder and let it evolve into a Zombie Overlord. As long as your control over them doesn’t weaken when they become a Zombie Emperor and expand the Zombie Empire (with three Zombie Emperors subdued as generals), the side mission will still be considered complete.]
[Rewards: Improvement of otherworld mission score (Will be graded after all the main missions are completed), SS-rank Skill Book (One per member of the team, tailored to suit the member’s needs), SSS-rank Skill Book (Only one and can only be given to the member of the team who contributed the most in the side mission.), C+ Stat Crystal x15]
[Time Limit: None]
[Note 1: As usual, just ask the Voice of The World if your team has any questions.]
[Note 2: This is a progression-based side mission. However, this is the last continuation of the Side Mission: Road To Zombie Emperor. There wouldn’t be any more side missions related to this objective even if this side mission is completed well.]

[Does your team want to accept the Side Mission with a difficulty of SSS+ Grade?]
[Yes] | [No]
Receiving another SSS+ grade Side Mission, Ainsworth wasn’t surprised but he felt that it was quite difficult to accomplish.
At least, when compared to the side missions he had previously completed, the Road To Zombie Overlord (SSS+) side mission was far more difficult as it required him to spend a lot of time in this world.
After all, even if Ainsworth were to mobilize all of the resources of the Church of Evolution to synthesize Solar Moon crystals, it would take a lot of time for Kyle to become a Zombie Overlord.
Furthermore, Ainsworth didn’t want to spend all the resources he took to great lengths to prepare just to give it to Kyle.
Compared to the side mission that didn’t have any time limit, he wanted to focus his resources on improving his power first. After all, his five stat attributes were still at B- grade and he felt that it still wasn’t enough to be invincible in the Zombie Apocalypse World.
When compared to the power system of the Zombie Apocalypse World, in terms of average stat attributes, a B- grade was comparable to an Overlord-rank Initial Stage Zombie.
To ensure that there wouldn’t be a situation where he’d encounter someone stronger than him who had secretly trained to increase their power, Ainsworth knew that such worries would only be gone if he reached the power level limit of the Zombie Apocalypse World.
When both sides were at the world limit, he was confident that his arsenal of skills and god-level talents could easily defeat anyone in the Zombie Apocalypse World.
Creating an imaginary enemy that he had to overcome, Ainsworth became more motivated to become invincible in the Zombie Apocalypse World.
While he had resolved himself to focus on improving his power, Ainsworth heard a notification sound in his mind but this time, it came from the God-Level Choice System.

[(1) Accept the Side Mission: Road To Zombie Overlord (SSS+)
(Reward: God-Level Pathogen)]
[(2) Refuse the Side Mission: Road To Zombie Overlord (SSS+)
(Reward: God-Level Cure)]
[(3) Choose none of the given options and choose your own path.
(Reward: None)]
Seeing the choice rewards presented, Ainsworth no longer exclaimed in surprise as he had recently just acquired one so he had expected that he would get another god-level talent for triggering an SSS+ grade side mission.
Sure enough, his guess was correct. Nevertheless, the concept represented by those god-level talents was very appealing to Ainsworth.
Even without asking the system for clarification on their abilities, Ainsworth could already assume what God-Level Pathogen and God-Level Cure were capable of.
But just in case, Ainsworth still asked it for clarification as those two god-level talents had intrigued him.
After a minute of receiving the choice system’s reply, Ainsworth contemplated, ’They’re much broken than I expected them to be.’
’God-Level Cure can cure almost anything as long as it’s not too beyond my power level. Not only that, I can even transform into any form of cure I want.’
’If I want to, I can even transform into a golden light that can heal and restore everything and cure all illnesses, purge curses, mend shattered souls, and even reconstruct lost limbs or damaged laws of reality. Whether it’s a physical wound, magical corruption, or spiritual fracture, as long as I have enough power, I can fix it. I’d basically become the embodiment of salvation.’
Ainsworth exhaled slowly.
’Then there’s God-Level Pathogen. It’s not just the opposite. It’s everything that spreads, corrupts, and evolves. I wouldn’t just create pathogens like viruses. I can choose to become them anytime I want to. Not just biological ones either. Magical diseases, soul-eating parasites, dream infections, and even conceptual plagues. If it infects, I control it.’
His eyes narrowed.
’I could override a curse by infecting it with a stronger strain. Devour illnesses by replacing them with mine. "Heal" someone by infecting their body with a version that rebuilds them stronger, faster, more obedient.’
’I could transform into spores that infect time, a plague that spreads through thoughts, or even rewrite the genetic code of gods. But such feats can only be achieved if I have enough power level.’
He lowered his gaze, thoughtful.
’God-Level Cure saves while God-Level Pathogen rewrites. Both of them can self-evolve to deal with the pathogen needed to be cured or the cure that needed to be overcome.’
’Moreover, they all have high upper limits and it mainly came down to how creatively I could utilize them. But with how biased my skill set is with pathogens and viruses, God-Level Pathogen seems to be the best choice for me.’
