Chapter 782 - 782: 779: That's Good

Rumble

It first started as a rumble, and then the light of the Trollspire Dungeon began to slowly vanish, almost like the night was coming.

"What the?"

Lucas the Swordsman of the group looked up with a baffled expression, and so did his friends.

"Does it... want to rain?"

"Maybe?" Lira replied with a baffled and unsure tone, and Sera shook her head.

"No. It doesn't look like it wants to rain. I've lived in the wild for some time in my life, and I know how rain looks like... Besides... The pressure I'm feeling from the dark clouds is not normal."

Nobody argued with Sera's words because they too could feel it. There was a strange sort of pressure that was gradually increasing with every second that passed, and at the moment, they were using more energy than normal to even stand.

The expression of Thalor was constantly changing as his brown eyes glowed, and after some seconds, he exclaimed.

"The mana... All the mana in the dungeon is gathering at the clouds and that mountain peak over there!"

"We're not mages but we can feel it, Thalor." Lucas replied solemnly while looking at a particular mountain peak, but Thalor's expression did not ease up.

Instead, it got worse and he shouted with a panicked expression.

"You don't understand! It's not only the mana from the dungeon that's gathering. Mana from outside the dungeon is also gathering over here."

"I think that a lightning tribulation is going to happen!"

At the words of Thalor, the expressions of everybody changed.

As newly advanced Tier 4s, they were not unfamiliar with Tribulations because they had to go through a Tribulation to become a Mystic Being.

They knew of the Tribulation one must pass through to become a Tier 4, and although Lucas, Garran, and the rest might not know, Thalor knew that there were several types of Tribulations.

Due to his love for magic, he always to took the opportunity to study about several things related to magic.

It was during one of his study sessions he came across a book from the foreign lands, and this book was about Tribulations.

He was curious about it because of the Tribulation he went through to become a Tier 4, and because of this, he knew more about Tribulations.

He had read of the fabled Lightning Tribulation, but a Lightning Tribulation or any type of Tribulation apart from the Tribulation one faces to become a Tier 4 is like a myth to him and to the denizens of New Earth.

At New Earth's current level, it had no business with Tribulations.

However, to Thalor's disbelief, he was seeing signs of a Tribulation occuring above him and his friends.

'Am I going to die?' Thalor thought with a fearful expression.

"A tribulation outside an Evolution Center?! How's that possible?! I thought that Tribulations only happened in Evolution Centers?!"

Lucas looked at Thalor with a shocked expression, and hidden within his gaze was a tinge of fear.

He could clearly recall his Tribulation in the Evolution Center, and a chill crept up his spine.

'I barely survived my Tribulation, and you're telling me that I'm going to face another Tribulation so soon?!... I don't want to die.'

Lucas' eyes flashed with several distinctive emotions in them as he gazed at the black rumbling clouds.

His pupils reflected a flash of a lightning bolt streaking across the black clouds, and he subconsciously took a step back.

"Let's leave."

Garran spoke with an extremely solemn expression while taking a step back.

He was expecting response or at least a response from his team members, but when he heard nothing, he could not help but look at his team members with a worried expression.

When he saw their fearful and shaken expressions, he could not help but frown deeply.

'Damn it.'

"MOVE!"

Garran barked, and Lucas, Lira, Sera, Thalor, and Alric were shaken out of their stunned and fearful states.

Without hesitation, they followed after Garran.

'We must live... We must live no matter what.'

Garran's mind along with the mind of his allies continuously had this thought as they ran.

The rumbling of the black cloud became much louder, and the darkness was sometimes illuminated by the flashes of lightning in the sky.

Powerful gusts of wind that could blow away a Tier 3 and below with ease blew across the entire Trollspire Dungeon.

Fortunately for the group of hunters, they were Tier 4s.

Garran looked back as he ran, his gaze landing on the mountain peak that was covered by a visible dense amount of mana that made it seem like the mountain peak was covered in a white fog.

'Just what is in that mountain peak for it to affect the entire Trollspire Dungeon which is one of the largest Open Dungeons?'

'Will the Haven Continent be safe?'

'We need to leave this place and report the situation in this place.'

'Fortunately for us, the cameras are still working... We just need to survive.'

Just as Gallan had these thoughts and was about to turn his head to the front, his eyes narrowed when he saw a different black cloud appear from the mountain peak.

This black cloud flew around the mountain peak, and Gallan subconsciously knew that this black cloud was their true target in the first place.

It was the reason they were sent to this soon to be ruined dungeon.

'Is that 'black cloud' the reason for this Tribulation?... What is it?'

Gallan furrowed his brows, but his gaze shifted to the black clouds, and when he saw that the black clouds seemed to getting more and more agitated, a cold sweat appeared on his forehead.

'I will survive.'

'No.'

'We will survive.'

Gallan thought with a determined light flashing in his eyes as he increased his speed.

Meanwhile, on the highest mountain peak of the Trollspire Dungeon, Corey stood in a cross-legged position with his upper body left bare and only a tight short was on his body.

His violet-blue eyes gazed in the direction of Gallan and his friends as they ran for their lives, and then he hummed softly.

"Looks like I don't need to use the Maledro's Gu to send them out of the dungeon."

"That's good."
