Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon -
Chapter 778 - 778: 775: Too Heavy (Bonus Chapter)
[If I was not with you, what would you have done? What decision would you have taken?]
Corey's mind stopped working for a second because he was shaken by Nina's words.
As much as he hated to admit it, she was right.
If he did not have Nina or if Nina did not possess far more knowledge than him and most likely every single person in their universe, he would not have considered asking Nina anything about the Letherions, Prince Zakar'el, and his heart.
He might have tried to try his luck and look for some information on any of the three. No matter how minuscule the information was.
However, who said he'd ever be able to find any information on the Letherions?
The Letherions are a race that is more ancient than the Paragons, and from what Corey had seen and realized, he had never seen, read, or even heard of any knowledge and information regarding Paragons and Supremes.
If he could not find information regarding these two races, who said that he'd ever be able to find information regarding a more ancient race.
Knowing that finding information on the Letherions was close to impossible considering his current power level, what would he have done?
'What would I have done?'
'Nina told me in the past that the reason why she rarely helped him in any way or form is because the Paragon Ancestor does not want me or any other Paragon to be reliant on the Nanomachines like Nina.'
'I don't even know how strong Nina is, and I've never bothered to ask. But... If me and every other Paragon could depend on their Nanomachines, I'm sure we'll rarely face difficult situations.'
Corey's gaze was on his hands as he had this thoughts.
'What would I have done if I didn't have Nina?'
Although Corey was constantly asking himself this question, he knew what he would have done.
He looked at his hands and clenched them.
"I would have fused with the heart the moment Prince Zakar'el offered to help him."
He muttered with a calm and confident tone, and he knew that this decision was one he would have made if he didn't have Nina.
He would have made this decision for several reasons, but Corey decided not to dwell on the reasons.
Instead, his mind began thinking about what his next actions should be.
From the moment he sent the heart into the storage space in his Tri-Pupil Eyes, he had been studying, analyzing, and observing the Prince's heart with his Stars of Consciousness.
Although it was not like he was making immense progress, and he would eventually know everything there is to know about the heart, doing this was helpful for him in so many ways.
Through the simulation room in his Perceptual Nexus Repository, he was constantly trying to simulate over a hundred thousand possibilities that could occur once he fuses with the heart.
However, he knew that these simulations might not even come close to what would actually happen.
Why?
Because he lacked knowledge.
"Sigh!"
Corey let out a frustrated sigh.
[You don't have to think too much about it.]
[I understand that you want to be cautious, but you're way too weak in every single way to try and influence the result of what would happen if you fuse with the heart of the last prince of the Letherions.]
[You can fuse with it now if you want to, but I can tell you certain things that would happen if you choose to fuse with it now.]
[First of all, you'll become an entirely new race that has most likely never been seen before. You'll have the bloodline of a race with the most powerful and coveted bodies, and your mind and mental state would change because of the bloodline of the ancient race called The Letherions.]
[You'll become a Primogenitor, and once you successfully become a Primogenitor, you'll have to undergo a trial.]
[I don't know what this trial is exactly, but I know that every single Primogenitor has undergone this trial. This trial is done to determine the potential and strength of the new race, or in other words... The potential and strength of your race.]
Corey raised a brow when he heard this, "I'm taking a trial to determine my potential and strength? Even when I'll have the bloodline of two powerful races?"
[Exactly.]
Corey was baffled the more.
[Although you might have the bloodline of the Paragon Ancestor and the Letherion Prince, eventually becoming a new race, what about you?]
[What about your strengths? Will you have the will and strength to surpass other Primogenitors and truly say that your potential is the greatest amongst them all?]
Corey had an expression of realization when he heard Nina's words, and he realized that there was a lot more to the path of power than he ever expected.
'Even if I become a new race with the highest potential to ever be seen, I must not be complacent and think that I would become the strongest so easily.'
Corey inhaled and exhaled deeply, and then he unclenched his fists.
"So, I can decide to fuse with the heart now?"
[Of course.]
Nina replied, and Corey was about to speak, but Nina spoke before he could.
[But if you do, and you don't die... Your presence in this world would become too heavy.]
Corey raised his brows in confusion when he heard Nina's words, "My presence would become too heavy?"
[Yes. You might not know it, but the fact that a denizen of this world is a Demi-Paragon is affecting its growth rate.]
[Your world is actually wary and fearful of you because it knows that if you decide to become evil and not care for its development, you have the potential to completely ruin it.]
[To make you understand in layman's terms, it's like you're a barbell on your world. Your current weight is heavy but at the same time beneficial to your world.]
[But once you become a new race, your weight would become too heavy for your world and would start harming it.]
