After dressing himself, Luan looked at Lily and Samantha, who were still just standing there, looking around, not knowing what to do.

With a sigh, he patted both of their heads. "Don’t worry so much," he said, trying to reassure the two girls.

Lily and Samantha looked at Luan, then at each other, and heaved a sigh of relief as if a weight was lifted from their shoulders.

Seeing Luan still act like his usual carefree self even after their slip-up reassured them greatly, and at the same time, they looked determined to prove their usefulness to Luan.

As the trio entered the carriage again, Luan clapped his hands and called for all the maids to come to the main room.

When they all stood next to each other in front of Luan, he smirked, "Ava, go toward the bandit camp; the job is done. But be careful; if you can’t handle the sight, just stop when you can’t continue anymore. I’ll carry the chest toward Kian and the others."

Ava nodded and stepped out of the carriage and started driving it toward the camp.

Luan looked then at all the maids who were still standing in front of him and continued. "Soon another maid will be joining the ranks, so make sure you welcome her and teach her the ways." With that, he slumped into the sofa and signaled for them to continue doing their own things.

The girls looked at each other surprised. A new member on the team? And how did he know it already?

They were all confused but still continued their jobs; Samantha and Clover went to the kitchen to prepare a meal.

Lily and Rania went toward the table to continue working on the prototypes; Luan lounged on the sofa, watching the girls do their thing, a smile on his face.

This was the life he enjoyed: a simple life surrounded by beautiful girls; the only thing that he missed now was lots and lots of money. But soon that would also become his as long as his plans worked out even a little bit.

Thinking of something, he grabbed a pen and a piece of paper, quickly scribbling down his thoughts. After finishing, he folded the paper neatly and slid it into an envelope, sealing it with a quick press of his thumb.

Standing up, he stretched his muscles and took one last look at Lily and Rania working together. Grabbing the chest that stood next to the sofa, he exited the carriage.

Strolling toward Kian, Luciano, and Kafele, who were already done with collecting everything from the camp, the smirk that was already on his face became more pronounced.

Just thinking about the profits he made today made his body tremble with excitement. "Hurry and load everything in the chest; I don’t have all day." Luan declared, putting the chest down.

Forming a chair with earth, he took a seat and watched lazily as his servants loaded everything in the chest.

The carriage is in front of the gates of the capital. With Kian and Ava at the front, Luan had ordered Kian to help Ava and just have everything go more smoothly.

He was an experienced butler and quite well-known in the capital. So to avoid any inconveniences, showing the guards the ring Hana had given Luan, they entered the capital without any issues.

Making their way through the capital, the commoners that were walking through the streets stopped to look at the carriage that was driving through the streets.

So to see one at this time meant that either the royal family was doing something or one of the dukes was. And after seeing the crest on the door, they immediately recognized it.

"Didn’t the duke and first lady leave the capital a couple of days ago?" A well-dressed young man asked the guard and butler standing behind him.

The butler, an older man with gray hair and a gray beard, thought for a moment. "That’s right, young master, I heard the madam talk about it." He replied respectfully.

After hearing the butler’s reply, a flash of realization seemed to hit the young man, and without turning his back, he started walking toward his estate.

The guard and butler caught off guard quickly hurried their step to keep up with the young man.

"Young master, why the hurry?" The guard asked, grasping the hilt of his sword and looking around wearily.

The butler seemed to want to ask the same question, also grasping the hilt of a dagger hidden in his uniform.

"That must be the youngest son of the duke, Luan Meskevela. Didn’t you hear he awakened not one but two sigils? The duke and first lady left the capital right after the ceremony to dodge the marriage proposals, but if he is here himself, why send letters? Just send the young lady to greet him." He said, a smile spreading across his face.

"Time to put my sister to good use," he stated, not minding the commotion his statement caused.

The butler and guard looked at each other with a helpless expression; they knew their young master would use any means necessary to build connections. But to go as far as using his own sister.

They could only send her silent prayers.

"So that is the youngest son of the Meskevela household, the one who sent tremors throughout the capital during his awakening ceremony." An old man said.

A young girl that looked no older than 7 years old looked at the carriage, her eyes sparkling. "One day I will become his concubine or even better, a wife," she declared, balling her fists.

The older man who stood next to the little girl looked at her but didn’t say anything. Even though he knew the girl’s dream would be impossible, he wouldn’t shatter her dream.

Grabbing her hand, they made their way home.
