Seoul Object Story
Chapter 233: Jade Wall (8)

Yerin held the Gray Reaper in her embrace and looked at the red fog beyond the garden.

Even though Yerin could not sense the presence of the red monster, for some reason she had a strong feeling that the fog was trying to force its way towards the Garden.

It looks dangerous.

As she looked at the ominous red fog with a worried expression, the Gray Reaper in her embrace began to glow brightly. It radiated a warm golden light, and its body relaxed as if she was asleep, its eyes were also tightly shut.

Thump-! Thump-!

At that moment, the sound of something hitting something hard in the red fog beyond the garden began to be heard. The entity which was making the sound was invisible, but Yerin could see the result.

The red monster’s hand striking the boundary was invisible, but the traces of the space that had been broken in the shape of a giant hand were clearly visible.

The boundary between the red fog and the Garden of the Mini Reaper began to split and break.

W-will it be okay?

The moment Yerin hugged the Gray Reaper in her arms and calmed her fearful heart, a low and heavy vibration shook the air.

Rumble-!

It might have sounded ominous given the situation, but it was strangely reassuring.

When Yerin turned her head toward the source of the sound coming from the sky, she could see a huge black sphere floating above her head.

< Immutable Black Ball >

It was an Object that Yerin had in her memory.

That sphere began to rotate slowly.

It was a slow movement, as if it waking up from sleep.

“!”

At that moment, the border of the Garden of the Mini Reaper completely broke and red fog began to rush in.

As the red fog, which looked extremely dangerous, rushed in, Yerin hugged the Gray Reaper tightly and stared at the <Immutable Black Ball> as if possessed.

Then, the <Immutable Black Ball> began to rotate faster and faster, emitting a strong shock wave.

Just like the morning sunlight pushing away the fog, the shockwave of the <Immutable Black Ball> prevented the red fog from approaching her.

And the moment the sphere’s rotation speed exceeded a certain level, it tore apart as if exploding.

And then, a huge black hand stretched out from within the <Immutable Black Ball>.

The black hand, which had a shadowy texture and was like a condensed darkness, tore apart the <Immutable Black Ball> with fierce momentum.

From the torn gap, a thick black liquid poured out. It had the texture of thick oil and flowed down from the <Immutable Black Ball> to the ground in a smooth movement, spreading out on the floor.

In an instant, it turned the surroundings into a pitch-black puddle.

And before long, the Black Reapers gathered around Yerin, jumping around with excited expressions.

Strong Mom!

The moment the liquid stopped flowing from the <Immutable Black Ball>, a huge shadow rose from the pitch-black puddle.

It was a figure that was so shadowy that it had no three-dimensionality.

A lower body firmly fixed as if rooted in a puddle that spread across the floor.

Two long arms that seemed to touch the floor.

Two shining white eyes.

And three pairs of rings of light on top of the shadow’s head.

It was a shadow that seemed to contain all the darkness and nightmares of the world.

But for some reason Yerin felt that the shadow was like the Reaper.

No, she was sure of it.

Wow, a Giant Reaper!

Was it because of the shining eyes and heart?

Yerin herself didn’t know why she felt that way, but she was confident that the shadow was harmless.

Mom!

The Black Reapers were so happy to see the shadow monster that they were making a fuss as if they were going crazy.

At that moment, the shadow slowly looked down at the surroundings like a king.

The red fog that seemed like it would rush in at any moment and the black shadows that filled the ground.

As the shadow looked at it, it stretched out its hand forward.

*********

I closed my eyes tightly and burned the firewood I got from Yerin while calling out the giant corpse lying on the <Immutable Black Ball>.

Then the <Immutable Black Ball> which was floating in the sky of the Garden of The Mini Reaper slowly appeared above my head.

It seemed like a blurry silhouette that connected space to space, but it gradually became clearer.

Just calling it out consumed the firewood at an incredible rate, but the warmth I felt in the firewood from Yerin was putting my mind at ease. As the days passed, the power of firewood from Yerin grew stronger, and by now, it had grown to the point where it could handle the giant corpse.

I looked up at the <Immutable Black Ball> floating above my head and thought to myself.

You’re here, Body.

Then I infused my will into it and moved my consciousness towards the Immutable Black Ball.

Then I was able to open my eyes inside the black sphere.

When I entered the Immutable Black Ball as Gray Reaper, the inside of the sphere seemed endlessly wide, but when I looked at it from the eyes of the black corpse, it felt so cramped.

A void and silence where I could feel nothing.

A very narrow space compared to the omnipotence that encompassed the universe.

If I thought about it in human terms, this space was like a prison where I couldn’t lie down properly, stand properly, or stretch my arms out.

Thump-!

As I got up, a shock resonated as if the inside of the space was being torn apart. And as I placed my hand on the outer wall of the <Immutable Black Ball> and pressed hard, the huge body began to exit the sphere little by little.

And as the last piece of flesh that had been inside the <Immutable Black Ball> leave the place, the sensation that only covered the Garden of the Mini Reaper began to spread beyond Seoul and cover the entire Earth.

Ah.

Once again, the feeling of omnipotence began to spread through my whole body.

And I could feel how noisy and tumultuous the earth was.

All kinds of desires, passions, hopes.

All kinds of despair, jealousy, pain.

It was flowing into my body in a fierce torrent.

Before I knew it, my vision was filled with a black stream of desires.

In that overwhelming stream, I couldn’t even move a finger.

I felt like I was losing myself in that overwhelming stream of desires.

What on earth should I do?

What was I doing before?

In that black torrent, the brightest and whitest flame was burning like a lighthouse.

[ Merciful Father, do not turn away from my prayer. ]

[ Save my soul. ]

It was the clearest and most intense light, like a signpost.

The moment I was about to grab the light, I heard a voice.

[ Wow, a Giant Reaper! ]

[ Mom! ]

I felt a warm golden flame.

I grabbed the golden light tightly, and was able to escape from the black torrent and open my eyes to the sight of the Garden of the Mini Reaper.

Mom!

Black reapers who were jumping around happily and enjoying themselves.

Yerin who was looking at me while hugging my original body tightly.

And the red fog that was overflowing as if it was going to pour down at any moment.

I could finally see where I was standing clearly now.

The Black Reapers were going crazy, as if they were really enjoying me controlling this body, but there was something strange about it.

Even though they were so happy, when I looked down at the Black Reapers with this body, they trembled as if they were scared.

When I turned my gaze away, they went crazy again.

Hmm, the Mini Reapers were still too hard to understand as always.

It felt like Yerin was certain that it was me who was controlling this body.

As expected of Yerin.

And when I turned my gaze to look at the red fog, I felt nothing.

It was so threatening before.

It was so powerful before.

But, It was no threat to me now.

Space, dimension, rules, cause and effect.

All of those were just external entities that had come from somewhere else.

It was difficult for them to even set foot on this land.

In order to get rid of that red monster and the red fog, I raised both my hands and grabbed the entire space where the red monster was.

Because of that, the red monster struggled to get out. If it had been an ordinary space isolation used in the Gray Reaper’s body, the red monster, free from the shackles of space and time, would have gotten out right away.

However, the space isolation used by the corpse’s body was not simply grabbing space, but grabbing existence itself.

Hehe, you can’t go anywhere!

Then, I started gathering firewood for the halo floating above my head. It was something I couldn’t do when I was in the body of Gray Reaper, but for some reason I felt like I could fo it now.

As I began to gather firewood on the halo, the black reapers also took the form of black corpses and began to gather firewood above their heads.

And when the firewood reached the critical point, it turned into a white beam of light and shot out toward the red monster.

Strong Mom beam!

Mom beam!

At the same time, the Black Reapers also shot out a yellow blazing light.

That beam, which had no physical substance, severed the connection between the red monster and the Earth itself, and tore a huge hole in space.

Beyond that hole, a world entangled with all sorts of colors could be seen, and the red monster and the fog began to be sucked into that world.

As the red fog flew towards beyond the crack, the red, twisted, and damaged empty space began to return to its original form, as if time had been rewinded.

Then, the red monster held onto the air with its huge arms, holding on without being sucked in.

[ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ]

It seemed to be shouting something at me with its wide open mouth, but no sound came out of its mouth, and only incomprehensible waves of thought scattered in all directions.

The red monster dug its sharp claws into the space, but the crack’s gravity was too much for it to resist.

Then, the space the red monster had been holding onto was ripped off entirely, and it began to be sucked into the crack.

And as soon as the red monster disappeared into the other side of the space, the crack disappeared.

It’s finally over.

As I thought that and looked down at the ground, I could see the Black Reapers jumping around, exuding their will which was filled with ‘We won!’ thoughts.

Now it’s time to return to my original body.

The moment I turned around and tried to return to the Immutable Black Ball,

Thud-!

A heavy sound of space being torn apart echoed.

Once again, the space was torn apart, and the red monster reached out.

With one hand, it grabbed the edge of the crack and tore it, and with the other hand, it  held tightly to one hand of the corpse.

[ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ]

The red monster grabbed my hand and spurted out waves of flame as if it was going crazy.

For a moment, I felt like I was being dragged into that space, but the corpse’s hand moved on its own and tore the space apart.

The red monster then was helplessly sucked into the other side of the space again without much resistance.

The red monster was sucked into the other side of the space beyond the large torn space.

However, the monster didn’t take his eyes off me until the crack closed completely.

Whew.

I felt a sense of exhaustion from having consumed most of my firewood, and I looked at the space gradually recovering.

Even with the help of Yerin, it’ll be hard to control this thing for a long time.

At that moment, the rate of consumption of firewood suddenly increased, as if there was some problem. It felt as if the firewood was slowly flowing to a different place and disappearing.

Moreover, the corpse kept trying to move on its own, making it increasingly difficult to control.

Well, at least I was able to defeat the guys who attacked, so it’s resolved.

I felt much relieved, and cut off the connection with the corpse while watching the mass of bandages with legs sprouting out run toward me.
