It was also to avoid anyone sneaking into the laboratory, destroying experimental data or stealing experimental results.

However, being locked in a laboratory like this was also a first for him.

"Don’t panic just yet, let me call Senior Mu and see if he can get someone to come and open the door." Sheng Ting tried to reassure her.

"Don’t be afraid," he said, "I’m on my way to find you."

Jiang Zhiyi checked her location on his phone and ran towards the direction of the laboratory while reassuring her.

Shen Weiyi glanced at Sheng Ting, wanting to say "No need," but in the face of overwhelming fear, she ultimately nodded and said, "Okay, can you hurry? We’re in a dark laboratory."

Her weak voice, trembling slightly, wrenched Jiang Zhiyi’s heart. Even though he had decided to let go, the moment he realized she might be in trouble, he couldn’t control himself and ran to her.
