Chapter 117: Meeting the beautiful teacher
Chapter 117: Meeting the beautiful teacher
Ange held the vial as if it were a rare prize, her green eyes shining with anticipation. She swirled the liquid gently, watching the greenish substance dance inside the glass with an almost childlike fascination.
Then, she rushed to her workbench, skillfully dodging tubes and stacked books, and mixed the liquid with a potion she had already prepared.
Davi, who had been silently observing until then, crossed his arms and leaned against a shelf, watching the chaotic choreography of the professor.
With eyes gleaming with curiosity and expectation, she finished her experiment. But this time, the reaction didn’t get out of control and, luckily, there was no explosion.
"I did it," she finally said. Then she turned to Davi with an absolutely charming smile and said, "Thank you so much for all your help."
"Hmm..." Davi nodded and said, "Congratulations." He had no idea what she had done or whether he should be celebrating, but at the very least, the girl seemed really happy, what was cute.
"Hehehe! I knew it would work, now I can finally show those damn old men!" Ange raised her nose proudly and puffed out her ample chest, smiling in satisfaction with her success.
Davi admired, for a moment, the beautiful and mature face of the milf in front of him. Even acting somewhat childish and chaotic, Ange had a mature charm that only years could grant.
Her features carried the elegance sculpted by experience, with soft contours on her cheeks and an almost enchanting smile that could melt anyone’s gaze. Her full lips added a touch of sensuality, completing a figure that radiated both a maternal and seductive aura.
Then, after getting lost in a long contemplation of her own success, Ange finally remembered there was someone else in the lab with her.
Her beautiful green eyes scanned the boy standing before her. She was certain she had never seen him before, and he looked like a young student, probably a new one.
"Why are you looking at me so much?" She asked, a little suspicious.
"I was just thinking about how you still look beautiful, even when you’re laughing like an idiot," Davi commented with a gentle smile.
She was annoyed for exactly five seconds, until her eyes suddenly lit up, and she approached Davi enthusiastically. She grabbed his hand and stared at him intently before asking in an over-excited tone:
"You really think I’m pretty?" She moved too close, pressing her big breasts against the boy’s chest.
"True, I am beautiful, aren’t I..." she murmured to herself. "Everyone said my older sister is beautiful, and we’re almost identical..." She frowned and closed her eyes, as she thought deeply for one second. "So why doesn’t anyone want to marry me?" The girl finally muttered to herself.
Finally, her eyes sparkled, and she looked at the boy before her, full of hope:
"Yes, I’m very pretty! Anyway... do you want to be my husband?" The woman, who was already past thirty, was a little desperate to find a husband.
At that moment, she was so close that their lips almost touched. Davi felt her warm breath caressing his mouth, and a tingling sensation ran through his body. The temptation to close the distance was almost irresistible.
"No chance," he took a step back, "at least not for now."
"Why not? Am I not beautiful?" She pouted childishly.
Davi sighed, this woman was very intense and quite strange. That said, he couldn’t help but find her a little cute.
"Of course you’re beautiful, but that’s not the only factor to consider before getting married." He was forced to explain the obvious. "Besides, I’m a student."
Suddenly, the smile on Ange’s face faltered, and she took several steps back, realizing what she had just done. If it was discovered that she was proposing marriage to a student, she would definitely go to the ethics committee and end up fired.
In fact, they probably wouldn’t even conduct an investigation; one testimony would be enough. After all, they were already looking for a reason to fire the woman.
"I’m sorry, I didn’t know," she said in despair. "Please, can you not tell anyone what happened here?" She asked with tears in her eyes.
Then she knelt down and put her hand to her head, imagining that her life was over.
"You don’t need to worry, I won’t say anything," Davi explained.
"Are you serious?" she asked suspiciously.
To help the girl calm down, he approached and gently stroked her head. Ange loved that kind of affection, and for a few seconds, she seemed completely distracted, behaving like a needy puppy begging for more attention.
"You don’t need to worry, I was flattered that such a beautiful woman as you was interested in me. But unfortunately, I don’t think it will be possible." He said politely.
Upon hearing that, Ange immediately stood up with a lively and relieved smile. She was a person who became very happy even with the smallest of compliments.
Then she moved too close, effusively thanking the boy for not trying to end her career because of that embarrassing act.
Only then did the girl’s eyes sparkle with curiosity, and she suddenly clasped her hands together, as if she had remembered something important.
"That’s right! There’s something very important I need to ask you, who are you?" Finally, she realized that someone suddenly appearing in her laboratory was not a common occurrence.
No one ever visited her for any reason, so this was quite strange.
"Didn’t Amelia tell you about me?" He asked, scratching his head. "My name is Davi."
She frowned, thoughtful. "Hmm... did she tell me? I think we talked about something these days..." Ange tried to remember but couldn’t.
In fact, Amelia had visited her, but she was very focused on extracting venom from a cobra monster that day. Therefore, she ended up not paying any attention to what that woman was saying.
Could it have been something important? She wondered in thought, while struggling to remember anything useful.
"Besides, Davi is a familiar name..." she murmured. And after a while, she simply shrugged, giving up on thinking about the matter.
She scratched her head and smiled a little embarrassedly, then admitted in a sheepish tone, "Honestly, I don’t remember if she said anything."
Davi just sighed. "I understand. As I said, I’m Davi, I’m a first-year student, and starting today, I’ll be your assistant and help you with your research."
He said, showing the registration letter that Amelia had given him and filled out for him without even asking his opinion.
Ange’s eyes widened as soon as she read the paper, as if it were a winning scientific lottery ticket. She smiled brightly, unable to hide her happiness.
"Are you serious?!" she exclaimed with an almost childlike gleam in her eyes, looking from the paper to Davi and then back to the paper, just to confirm she wasn’t hallucinating.
She held the letter with both hands, as if it were a sacred treasure, and then did a little jump in place, completely unable to hide her excitement. The smile on her face widened so much it almost looked painful in its sincerity.
"This means... that I have an assistant?! Finally, someone wanted to work with me!" She jumped a little, then took a few turners, as she happily stared at that piece of paper.
And, in the next instant, Ange turned to him with a bright look and cheeks slightly flushed with excitement, holding the letter against her chest as if it were a declaration of love.
"You’re not going to abandon me, are you?" she asked in a low and somewhat vulnerable voice, tilting her head slightly to the side. "I mean, this isn’t a cruel prank by some rival professor, right? They already put a goat disguised as a student here once..."
Davi stared at her for a moment, incredulous. "A goat?"
"Yeah, it wore glasses... it was convincing," Ange muttered with a serious nod, before blinking several times and refocusing. "But you’re not a goat, right?"
"No," Davi replied, holding back a laugh.
"And you’re going to work with me? You’ll help me with the experiments?"
"Yes."
"Promise you won’t suddenly abandon me because of one or two accidental explosions?"
"Accidental explosions?" Davi repeated with a suspicious look.
"There will be very few," she said, crossing her fingers behind her back. "I’m very careful after all."
Davi sighed. "Okay, I think I can handle that, but speaking of your experimental explosions, is that normal for that thing to be on fire?" He pointed to the experiment she had set up a few hours before Davi arrived but had apparently forgotten about.
"Crap! I forgot I was doing that!"
Desperate, she turned to the counter and began to condense her mana around the fire, containing the blaze.
Seeing that scene, Davi couldn’t help but sight thinking about all the work she would have to help that crazy and intense girl. However he still smiled, finding her somewhat cute.
