Return Of The Supreme Beast Tamer
Chapter 172: Blood Cave

Chapter 172: Blood Cave

"You see, Mum... No matter what they throw at me... I won’t back down... The son you raised isn’t a fool or weakly, I will make you proud!" Christopher said with a smile.

Amara smiled, and turned her gaze from the beasts.

"You already did... So what’s your plan next?" She asked.

"Advika has the same spirit in you, but hers is fire, while I have the water." Christopher revealed, shocking Amara. He continued, "So we will be training together... Till the international competition." He said.

’I knew that girl has a strong life force... That also explains her fire skills... I am right, if she stays beside my son, he will have more protection... Although he has the water spirit, he will need backup.’ She thought, and nodded.

"Okay... I won’t say anything about that, but where are you guys having this training?" She asked.

Christopher hesitated for five seconds, and finally answered, "At the Red Zone."

"What?!!!" Amara stood up in shock.

"You two train in the Red Zone?!" She yelled.

"Yes... You don’t have to worry, Mum, we have these guys, and Advika’s Beast isn’t weak." He quickly said, trying to calm her down, and added, "And it is also safe... Advika’s power isn’t yet stable, if we stay in the city, it will affect ordinary people, that’s why."

"Then why don’t you use the family cultivation ground?!" Amara yelled at him.

"Cultivation ground?" Christopher was dumbfounded.

"Oh!" Amara facepalmed herself. "You don’t know about it because we thought... I thought you weren’t into becoming a tamer." She said, and sat back down. "Katherine and Adonis have been training in there since they became tamers."

"I wondered how they entered the Elite level that fast." Christopher turned to Amara with a bright smile on his face, "How dense is the energy there?"

"The elders of the Valhalla found a secret life force mine, which never dries up... I am also shocked by it. This mine has been helping our family all these while; that’s also another reason we could hold the top three for so long," Amara said.

Christopher nodded, and asked, "Is this place only open for the family?"

"Yes... But because of you, I will make an exception, so you can bring Advika along." She smiled.

"Thank you, Mum... You are the best." Christopher said with a bright smile.

"Ahem!"

The two turned to the staircase, seeing; Sunny, Xing, and Phoenix walking out.

"Madam, Master... We will have our leave," Sunny said with a bored expression.

’Wow! I never thought one day; Sunny, the first beast king will bow to me.’ Amara thought, and turned her gaze to Phoenix, who was looking at her feet.

"You are the same lady, right?" She asked calmly.

Christopher, Xing, and Sunny were confused by her question; they all turned to Phoenix, who slowly nodded her head.

"You did good." Amara said, her word surprising Christopher. "I am happy my son has such loyal friends, and people beside him." She smiled.

"What happened? Wait, you know each other?" Christopher asked with a frown.

"It’s nothing, son." Amara said with a smile.

"Yes." Phoenix nodded.

Christopher stared at the two, and finally nodded his head, "Okay then, if you say so." He turned to Sunny, "Remember."

Sunny nodded at him, turned, and walked, followed by Xing and Phoenix.

The two watched them leave the mansion, and Amara turned to the staircase with a frown on her face, "Why haven’t that man come down yet?!?" She asked.

"Dad might be busy, there are some documents to read and signs, so give him time," Christopher answered.

"Oh?" That was all Amara said.

[Cordelia Military Base.]

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Come in."

The general looked up, watching as Philip opened the door and walked in, still in his military uniform.

"General!" He saluted.

"At ease, soldier... Now tell me, what did you discover?" The general asked, moving his attention back to the map on the table.

"Zombies, General." Philip revealed with a straight face.

The general frowned, and looked up at them, "Is this a joke?" He asked with a frown.

"General! We don’t know what happened to the residents in that settlement! But when we got there, we saw only zombies! I know it sounds stupid, but they were eating one another! I even had to shoot a child and a woman!"

The general was getting even more confused, "Zombies, in the settlement? Are you unwell, child?" He asked.

"I am alright, General!! I swore on my life!! What we saw are zombies! That is the only way!! I don’t know if the people are possessed, or being manipulated! All I know is, they feed on flesh and kill anyone who gets in their way!!" He looked at the general with a serious expression, "We lost 8 people in this mission!! 8 good soldiers!!"

Now the general was serious, he closed the map, and stood up.

"Send words, the settlement must be burnt to the ground, none of those things must enter Cordelia!"

"Already done that, General."

"Good. Very good."

"But?"

The general frowned, "What ’But’?" He asked.

"I sense a sky stage beast in there! In that settlement, even when we set it on fire, the beast wasn’t even scratched!"

"Did you see it?" The general asked in a grave tone.

"No... We escaped before it got out of the flames." Philip replied.

"Okay... Now we have two beasts! And this one is bloody close to the border! And it hasn’t attacked us because it has a master! Someone is turning people into zombies! And we must find out who!"

He sat back down.

"Thank goodness the eldest son of the Valhalla family has a sky stage beast, we will have to ask for his help again."

"Elder Son?" Philip was stunned.

"Yes... Christopher. Christopher Valhalla. I will even say he is stronger than you." The general said, studying Philip’s expression.

"I know." Philip nodded.

’It isn’t even a week, and he already has a sky stage beast?! Is it the wolf? Or rhino?’ He thought.

"Send words."

The general’s word snapped him out from his gaze.

"Half of Cordelia Military forces should start patrolling the city every night! Make sure of this!! No corner, street, or even alleys must be left unprotected!!" He sighed, "And... Also send some troops to check that cave... That place is foreboding, so don’t get close to it, just keep your distance and watch the place... Anything that comes out from there must be killed!"

"YES, GENERAL!!!"

Philip saluted, turned around, and walked away.

The general opened the map again, staring at the red cave close to Cordelia.

"We must get through this," He muttered.

[Unknown Location.]

Leon walked inside the warehouse, and got on one knee before the dark figure.

"How did it go?" The figure asked, its back to him.

"Well, Master! We took all the residents, and they are all under our control." Leon replied.

"Good... Take 10,000 undead, and make sure all small cities and villages should be discreetly taken over, turn them all into undead... When we have enough force, we will strike." The figure commanded.

"But Master, we have hundreds of thousands of undead, we can attack anytime from now." Leon said, his head bowed.

"Not enough... We need at least one million. If we attack Cordelia now, the other countries in Baltimore continent will jump in to help, but if we have enough soldiers, we can attack the five cities at once..." The figure stated, and added, "They won’t have the time and chance to send reinforcement to other cities, because they’ll need them to defend themselves! Now go."

Leon nodded, stood up, and walked away.

’Christopher... Advika... Fire and water spirits... I will take you two down, before going after the rest.’

The figure flicked its finger, as a skeleton warrior in silver armor appeared behind him.

"Take 1,000 skeletons, and attack Cordelia, follow the blood cave... Go now."

The skeleton nodded, and disappeared.

"Let’s keep them busy, don’t want anyone to stop my plan."

[Night Time.]

[VOOOM!!]

The 50 soldiers stationed 100 miles from the blood cave, turned around from their posts, staring at the military trucks stopping behind them.

"....?!"

"Huh? What’s happening?"

With confusion on their faces, they all walked towards the trucks with their guns, and the moment they saw Philip jumping down, they all quickly saluted, "Greetings, Vice General!!"

Philip nodded at them, and a man in military uniform quickly rushed towards him.

"Vice General!! I am Sergeant Vicod! And these are my platoon!" He said at attention.

Philip nodded and moved his gaze on the 50 men, and nodded, "Offload!!"

The 10 trucks opened, and more than 50 soldiers jumped down, all armed, some holding crates filled with ammunition, grenades, and guns.

Seeing the things and men, Vicod and his 49 men were stunned.

"Okay, Sergeant Vicod! I am taking command of this post and your men." Philip said, walking past the man, who nodded with a stunned expression.

Philip stopped in front of the barricade, staring at the glowing red cave 100 miles away.

’This is the only entrance to Cordelia! If anything pass through this defense, the city will be next. I won’t let that happen.’ He thought with a determined expression.
