Return Of The Supreme Beast Tamer
Chapter 164: Academy Competition 10: How Is That?

Chapter 164: Academy Competition 10: How Is That?

"I refuse!" Mountain declared, his voice echoing through the stunned silence.

All eyes then shifted to Scarlett.

’No matter what happened, I won’t win... Highest, I will take the fourth position, but by helping the guardian academy, I might have a chance to get in and school there.’ She thought, and said: "I accept... Tony is only protecting his twin sister, any brother will do the same... But Tori already lost the competition."

"I understand, Tori already surrendered." The announcer said.

"What the hell are you all saying?!" The big man yelled, drawing everyone’s attention towards him. He whirled towards Advika, jabbing a finger in her direction. "Look at you!! Do you think if you break the rule they will vote for you to stay?!"

"I will." Tony interjected, leaving the man dumbfounded.

"You will?! You will say anything at this moment!" he screamed at Tony.

"I am serious, the only one who will make this competition fun is him." Tony said, pointing at Christopher: "The rest of you aren’t my match..."

Mountain frowned, turning to Advika. "See that!! He is still arrogant!! You all are making a mistake!!"

"A mistake?" Advika smirked.

"Yes!! A mistake!! Look at his teammate, Zack!! Your friend is in the hospital because of him!!"

Advika’s smirk contorted into a sinister grin, causing everyone to frown in confusion. "Oh? Do you think I am doing this for these two?" she asked.

"....?!"

The man was stunned as Advika continued, "These guys are worthy of my time... Look here." She turned to Zack, though her words were directed at Mountain. "If the guardian academy is disqualified, I won’t be able to beat the hell out of someone!"

Zack raised an eyebrow at her words, while Christopher chuckled. "That’s the Advika I know."

"Oh... So she is doing this to get back at Zack?" Mariana asked, surprised.

"Yes... Advika will advance to the last round, and there’s no way Zack won’t enter the last round... I will let her do as she pleases then." Christopher said, folding his arms.

"Is Tony your match?" Mariana suddenly inquired.

Christopher turned to the girl who had always been cold towards him and shook his head. "He can’t even face my beast, let alone me."

"What stage are your Beasts?" she pressed.

"Wait and see." Christopher replied, his gaze fixed on the stage.

Mountain looked at the two and sighed. "Whatever, I am not drawing back my vote!" he declared, looking away.

"Ok!" the announcer yelled, adding, "It seems the guardian academy will continue forward! In this round, Advika won! Earning her team 2,000 points! Making 4,000 in this round and a total of 7,000 points... Please, you all can now leave the stage."

The three nodded and walked back to their teams, taking their places beside them.

"Ok... With all these settled, let’s go to the next matchup!" he roared, turning to the screen.

The audience watched as cards shuffled, and then two numbers and names appeared:

"Tony Vs Mountain!!"

"...!!!"

The audience, Mountain, and even the announcer himself were stunned speechless, all staring at Mountain with a mixture of pity and disbelief.

Before Tony could take a step forward, Mountain yelled, "I surrender!"

"...huh?"

"....?!"

Everyone stared as he spun around in a fit of anger and stormed away, exiting the Arena.

"O....Kay... Tony won this round, earning his team 2,000 points!" the announcer bellowed, turning to the screen again.

Tony shrugged his shoulders, remaining silent. They all watched as the cards rearranged once more, and two names appeared:

"Mariana Vs Stella!!" he yelled.

"This?" Mariana turned to Stella, who stepped forward, her face indifferent. ’Can... Can I win?’ She asked herself in confusion.

"Take it slow." Advika said, her gaze on Stella.

"Even if you are as slow as a snail, you will lose." Christopher said flatly.

"....?!"

The two girls turned to him with a frown.

"Why would you say that?" Advika asked, confused.

"Accept the reality, no matter what... She can’t win." He said.

"You! I will show you then!" Mariana clenched her fists and marched forward, while Christopher just sighed.

"She will definitely lose." Tiamat said.

"Go sister!!" Adrian yelled from his seat, as his friends and classmates nodded in agreement.

Mariana stopped in front of Stella. "We will see who will win and who will lose!" she declared, rubbing her ring. "Come out."

Whoosh!!

Three beams of red light shot out from Mariana’s rings, coalescing into the forms of three magnificent mythical stage Phoenixes: one of wind, and the other two of fire and water.

"This is my trump card!!" she yelled, and then added, "Merge!!!"

"...??"

Stella watched as the three Phoenixes wrapped themselves in their wings and burst into flames, instantly turning into ashes that drifted to the ground behind Mariana.

Everyone watched as the ashes began to fuse together, and in less than ten seconds, they transformed into a huge orb that hovered behind her.

BOOOM!!

The orb shattered, revealing a colossal green-blue-and-white Phoenix. The enormous bird let out a piercing screech:

SCREECH!!!!

"Wow! That is a mythical stage beast with a Lv9 combat strength!"

"From Lv7 combat strength to Lv9! So powerful!"

"Yes!"

"Go Mariana!!"

"Yes! Eliminate her from this competition!!"

"Yes!!"

The Vitality Academy students cheered loudly, witnessing Mariana’s beast.

"Yes!! You can do it sister!!" Adrian yelled.

"Impressive, three beasts that can merge into one powerful beast, what a good ability." The general muttered to himself.

"Yes." The governor nodded her head: "It seems the major family of Cordelia went all out, training their kids." she said.

"Yes." The general nodded, looking at his wristwatch: ’Phillip Should be back by now... What is holding them?’ He thought Inwardly.

"Hehehe! My students are just too good." Howard said, and turned to the Dean of Guardian Academy: "What do you think Dean Maxim?"

Maxim turned to face him, shaking his head with a small smile. "Indeed, her beasts have a good ability." He said.

’Hehehehe! After my students helped you continue, you can’t be arrogant.’ Howard thought Inwardly, and turned to Monica, who sat beside him. "We must win." He said.

"We will, Dad." Monica replied.

The Dean of First Star Academy stared at the Dean, not uttering a word.

Stella stared at the enormous Phoenix behind Mariana and asked:

"Is that all?"

"...?!"

Mariana was stunned by the question: "What do you mean by that??" she asked with a frown.

Stella raised her hand and rubbed the necklace on her neck: "Come out, Buxton!!!"

WHOOSH!!

Killing intent instantly enveloped the entire arena and spread all over the city... Every single ordinary person felt a chill down their spine, feeling the dense amount of killing intent in the air.

’So much killing intent? This is almost as strong as Grim’s.’ Christopher thought in mild shock.

"What the?! So much killing intent! And the Beast haven’t even shown up!" Advika exclaimed in mild horror.

"So much killing intent!" Maxim and Howard stood up in shock.

"It can’t be!"

"Fufufufu... Don’t look so shock, this is my student’s strongest beast, the strongest in my academy... When she applied, I was actually taken aback, then you brought the rule for the competition..." She chuckled: "You don’t know how Happy I was."

The two Deans turned to her, their faces filled with shock and disbelief.

WHOOSH!!

Everyone watched as a light appeared before Stella and formed a skeleton, standing 6 feet tall, with a long bony sword in hand... Its gaze fixed on Mariana.

"What?!" Mariana took a step back in horror.

"A Divine stage beast, with the darkness and blood bloodlines... Not only that, it has the combat strength of Lv10! If it’s in the past, this guy can single-handedly face one of my beast." Christopher muttered in a low voice.

"That! That is a Divine stage beast!" This word echoed in everyone’s heads.

"I knew it, she will lose." Tiamat said with a bored expression.

"I... I won’t back down!!" Mariana stretched forth her hand towards the skeleton: "Use your ultimate skill!!" she commanded.

The Phoenix opened its mouth and channeled all its energy into one blast and unleashed it at the skeleton.

BOOOOOM!!

The attack smashed into the skeleton, which stood before Stella. Smoke rose into the air, enveloping the two.

"I got it!" Mariana said with a smile.

WHOOSH!

".....?!"

She fixed her gaze at the smoke, seeing two red eyes staring at her... A sword moved in the smoke, instantly dispersing everything, revealing the skeleton and Stella, both unscathed.

"Impossible! That’s my beast’s ultimate attack!" Mariana said in mild horror.

"You think that attack will have any effect against my beast?" Stella asked with a smirk, and commanded: "Don’t kill them, just play with them."

The skeleton turned its head to looked at Stella, then nodded.

WHOOSH!

An unholy amount of killing intent burst out from it, heading towards Mariana and her Beast.

SCREECH!!

The Phoenix let out a shriek, and wrapped Mariana with its wings.

BOOOOOM!!!

The wave of killing intent smashed into the wings, pushing the two meters backward.

"How was that?" Stella asked with a smirk.
