Return Of The Supreme Beast Tamer
Chapter 153: Chaos!!

Chapter 153: Chaos!!

[Xavier.]

WHOOSH!

High above the ocean, Starvil, still in her sword form, materialized and plummeted toward the sea.

__

[Xavier Military Base - General’s Office]

"General! We have an issue!" a soldier burst into the general’s office, his voice laced with urgency.

The middle-aged general, engrossed in documents, raised his head to the anxious soldier.

"What happened?!" he demanded.

"I can’t explain it... you have to see it for yourself," the soldier insisted.

Confused but compelled, the general rose and followed the man to the command room.

__

[Xavier Military Base - Command Room.]

The moment the general stepped inside, the image on the main screen seized his attention—a sword.

"Isn’t that a sword?" he asked, bewildered.

"Yes, General! This sword appeared from a crack in outer space. It was headed for the Baltimore continent, then vanished, only to reappear in ours," a woman explained, her fingers flying across her keyboard.

"Where?! Location!" the general barked, his tone serious.

"It appeared directly above the center of the sea and is still moving downward," she replied, her gaze fixed on the screen.

"Why is it heading to the sea?" the general muttered, a hint of confusion in his voice.

WHOOSH!

"...??!!"

A collective gasp filled the room.

"Is that...?!" the lady stammered, speechless.

"The water is moving!" someone exclaimed, a note of horror in their voice.

Before their astonished eyes, a colossal crocodile, the very beast that had been sent to Baltimore, rose from the depths. It was so massive that half of its body towered above the ocean surface, standing upright.

"What the fuck!!!" the general swore, utterly shocked.

BEEPPPPP!!!

He whipped his head to another screen, which blared a red alert.

"This... check it out! What stage is that beast to activate the life force checker?!" he bellowed.

The man at the screen immediately sprang into action. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead as his fingers flew across the keyboard. After a tense twenty seconds, numbers flashed on the screen:

[Life force energy: 3,000,000.]

[Beast stage: Half celestial stage.]

[Combat strength: N/A.]

".....!??!"

A deathly silence enveloped the room, so profound that a pin dropping would have echoed.

"Such... such a beast is in our continent?!" the general asked, his voice barely a whisper, laced with horror.

’This... this is a beast beyond the sky stage,’ the commander thought, his mind reeling with confusion. ’It could kill a divine stage beast with a single slap! How did such a beast appear in this world?!’

"Commander! The sword!" the lady’s yell snapped everyone back to attention, away from the terrifying numbers.

".....?!"

_____

[Cordelia.]

[Life force energy: 3,000,000.]

[Beast stage: Half celestial stage.]

[Combat strength: N/A.]

"What the?! A Half-celestial stage beast! How did it appear in Xavier continent...?" Phillip muttered, shock evident in his voice.

’The Xavier continent has a military force built with the combined might of its countries, but still... can they stop this beast?’ he mused, his gaze fixed on the sword diving toward the creature.

’Is that sword being controlled?’ he wondered, a new layer of confusion settling in.

__

[Third Continent: Alvin - Command Room.]

"Hmm..."

A young lady occupied the general’s seat, a frown etched on her face as she stared at the screen.

"It seems Xavier has their hands full," she observed.

"General! Shouldn’t we assist them? After all, they are our allies," a lady standing behind her inquired.

The young general sneered. "We will assist if they ask for it; if not... we will simply watch the show," she declared, a smirk playing on her lips.

"Yes, General!" the lady nodded in understanding.

____

[Back to Starvil.]

The colossal crocodile’s gaze swept across the sea, then it raised its head to the sky, spotting the sword hurtling toward it.

****How bold!! Who dares attack me?!!!**** it roared, sending massive waves rippling across the ocean.

WHOOSH!!!

The sword continued its relentless descent, aimed squarely at the beast.

****Hahahaha!! Mountain defense!!****

The crocodile unleashed a skill, and a circular wall of energy materialized before it, attempting to block the incoming weapon.

WHOOSH!!

BOOOOOM!!!!

****....?!!!!****

The crocodile was stunned as the sword effortlessly shattered its defensive shield and shot toward it. The beast swiftly raised both its massive hands in a defensive posture.

BOOOOOM!!!!

The impact was so powerful that the weapon pierced through its arms, tore through its chest, and burst out from its back.

****Ahh-!!!****

The beast spurted a mouthful of blood and looked over its shoulder at the receding sword.

****What sort of weapon is that?!! It didn’t even mind my defenses; it just broke through and injured me to such an extent.****

The crocodile lowered its gaze to the gaping, bloody hole in its chest, perilously close to its heart.

****Show yourself!! Why send a weapon when you are so powerful??!**** it demanded.

Silence.

****Huh?****

The crocodile spun around, only to find empty space.

****Where is that weapon?**** it asked, mild confusion lacing its voice.

[*****Stop asking questions!! And just get on with your mission! That weapon was sent by our enemy!! After you take down Cordelia, you will have your revenge!!*****]

Mnemosyne’s voice resonated in its mind.

[*****Go now! The humans already know of your existence! And they will try everything to kill you! You must... kill them all! Kill anything that stands in your way!*****]

****Yes, Mother!****

The crocodile nodded, its resolve hardening, and it resumed its journey, increasing its speed.

[Xavier Military Base.]

"That... that sword easily injured that beast with one strike!" the woman exclaimed, still in disbelief.

"True! But why did it disappear?" someone else chimed in.

"The sword is important, and we must have it! But for now... we must stop this beast!" The general turned to the woman. "Its path, what is ahead?"

The woman tapped on her keyboard for a few seconds, then froze, her face instantly paling.

"Five cities are on its path!" she muttered in terror.

"Shit!! Send word!! These five cities must be evacuated! Fast!!" he roared, then turned to the man who had called him earlier.

"Pass out my order!! All working airships and battleships should head to the beast’s location and stop it!! Even if we have to ask for help! We will! This beast must not reach the cities!!"

"YES!!" Everyone in the room saluted.

___

[Baltimore Continent.]

The military forces of the three countries were on full alert. After some calculations, they discovered the beast was heading toward their continents. No one knew the reason, and no one cared. The only plan at the moment was: ’Stop the beast before it reaches Baltimore.’

The Alvin continent, located on the other side of the planet, was the only one seemingly out of this immediate threat—or so the world believed.

___

[Unknown Cave.]

Mnemosyne’s eyes snapped open, blazing with fury.

*****That bastard! What is his plan sending his precious sword to this realm?! Starvil’s powers are greatly reduced, or the crocodile would have died with that one attack!*****

She shifted her gaze to the beasts in the cave.

*****The humans will try to stop him! We won’t let that happen...!!! Send word! The second-biggest Beasts raid will commence in half a month!! We will see how the humans decide then... stop the beast raids or stop my subordinate!!*****

On this day, the military forces of the three continents faced a threat that far surpassed any previous beast raid—a threat from a single beast...

...Unbeknownst to them, much larger beast raids was looming, poised to plunge the entire world into chaos.

___

[Back to Christopher.]

Christopher landed on the hill, his gaze sweeping over the landscape. All the cores he had left behind were untouched, except for Reaper, Advika, and Hellfire, who were busily absorbing theirs.

"Oh... I forgot you guys can’t absorb cores... Then I must get stronger... If I get stronger, you guys will automatically get stronger."

He walked past Advika, whose eyes were closed in concentration, and sat down before the mini-mountain of cores from various beast stages.

"I just hope this can move me to the peak," he muttered, then turned to Tiamat. "You know what to do."

Tiamat nodded. Christopher then pulled out his and Advika’s phones and tossed them to her. He closed his eyes and began his absorption.

Tiamat caught the phones with her life force, switched them on, and sent messages to the two’s families.

[Mom! I need to get stronger, so I am cultivating with my beasts. It will take two days. I will be back for the academy competition... Love you, and take care.]

Tiamat sent the message to Amara. Then she turned to Advika’s phone.

[Hey Sylvia, I won’t return for two days. We planned to stay in the hill and get stronger and also... deal with the goddess spirit! Take care of mum and Dad, and tell them I will be back in two days! Oh!!! Don’t tell anyone... I mean anyone about my whereabouts! Love you little sister. I will be back.]

She sent that message, then returned to Christopher’s phone and tapped on Murphy’s number.

’This will be fun,’ Tiamat thought, a smile playing on her lips.
