Return Of The Supreme Beast Tamer -
Chapter 152: New Visitor
Chapter 152: New Visitor
Deep in the void, far beyond the furthest reaches of humanity and even the most ancient Beasts, a galaxy shimmered into existence. It teemed with life, its countless planets a vibrant tapestry against the dark.
On one of the largest planets in this galaxy, a man in a long, black overcoat hovered effortlessly in mid-air, his arms folded behind his back. Two feet behind him stood a young lady, appearing to be in her early twenties, with long, flowing golden hair and striking red eyes.
"Master... What happened?" she finally broke the silence, her voice a soft murmur.
"A fool escaped during the war," the man replied, his tone even. He stretched out one hand and snapped his fingers.
Whoosh!
The space before them tore open, revealing a monstrous creature – a beast known to Christopher as the Origin of Darkness. The creature raised its massive head, its gaze fixed on the tearing space and the two figures on the other side. All the surrounding beasts in the cave also lifted their heads, their attention drawn to the rift.
"I see you escaped from the war," the man stated, his voice resonating through the void.
*****Supreme Ruler, Michael... I knew the moment I woke up, you would detect me... That’s why I have been sleeping for centuries.***** The creature responded, its voice a guttural rumble that echoed in the emptiness.
"Let me ask you... What is your goal on that planet?" Michael inquired, his brown eyes narrowing slightly.
*****My goal?? Of course, to destroy this whole world... I will have my revenge!***** The Origin of Darkness roared.
"You are a fool!" the lady spat out, her red eyes flashing. "Destroy the world and have revenge on my master? You do know any death on that planet has nothing to do with him, right?! It won’t even affect my master in the slightest!!"
*****Starvil... I also remembered you.*****
The creature said, its gaze shifting to the golden-haired beauty. Then it added with a sinister undertone:
*****When I get stronger... This realm will collapse, everyone will die!! I will make sure of that!*****
"By forcing yourself into that realm, you damaged your core, so you lost sixty percent of your main strength... Now you are hiding, slowly repairing your core, right?" Michael asked, his voice calm despite the creature’s menacing words.
*****Nothing can hide from you, Supreme King... But that doesn’t mean you can do anything to me!***** the creature scoffed, a hint of defiance in its voice.
"You really think so?!" Starvil hissed, a dangerous edge to her tone.
The creature turned its head to the golden-haired beauty again and let out a disdainful sound.
*****You talk too much, I thought swords should always be silent? Talking doesn’t suit you at all!!*****
Starvil frowned, her eyes blazing. "I might be a sword, but I can kill you with a wave of my hand! Even at your peak!! You can only bow at my feet!!" she spat out, her voice laced with pure killing intent.
*****True...*****
The creature conceded, turning its attention back to Michael.
*****Because of you, I almost destroyed my core and died... My main body got destroyed, and I became this shapeless thing! What everyone called a monster!! You don’t know how bad I want to kill you.*****
"Too bad you can’t." Michael said with a faint smile, then added.
"Get off that planet, or I will make you."
*****Hahaha!! You are a god, Michael... If you enter this realm with your strength, the balance will be affected, and this world will collapse! None of you can enter! Now, do you know why I came here? And even risked my core?***** the creature taunted, its laughter echoing ominously.
Michael was silent, his gaze fixed on the creature.
"Master?" Starvil called out softly, a hint of worry in her voice. Michael stopped her with a raised hand, his focus remaining on the beast.
"What do you want?" he finally asked.
*****What I want? I want your death!!***** The creature shrieked, its voice filled with raw hatred.
"Mnemosyne!! Do you want to wage a war with me?!" Michael’s brown eyes turned a brilliant gold, the shift in his gaze signaling a change in his demeanor.
*****So?! That is the plan! I will kill everyone and turn this realm into a sea of blood! Then you will know how serious I am!! But a direct war with you?***** It scoffed:
*****With my current strength, even if I have ten million soldiers! I will still lose!! Oh... Before I go... Let me remind you again! Your Hidden Blades and Commanders can’t enter this realm! Their strength is beyond this realm’s capacity! Hahaha! For once, you are powerless!!***** Mnemosyne declared, her voice filled with triumphant malice.
Michael simply smiled. "Okay... Mnemosyne, have your fun... Make sure to live your life to the fullest, because it will be your last." He waved his hand, and the tore space mended, closing the rift between them.
"What should we do, Master?" Starvil asked, a touch of concern for the realm evident in her voice.
"Mnemosyne is the primordial of memories... That realm is still standing because she lost most of her powers, when she fully recovers, she will make sure to destroy the planet and all its inhabitants..." Michael sighed softly, then snapped his fingers again.
Starvil turned to see a holographic image of a guy with brown hair and hazel eyes appear before her.
"This human is the only one on that planet that I can use..." Michael stated, his gaze fixed on the image.
"Use? What is your plan, Master?" Starvil inquired, confused.
Michael smirked. "Mnemosyne is right about one thing, I can’t travel to that realm with my strength... My presence itself will shatter the realm’s core... So all I can do is send you."
"Huh?!! Are you sending me away, Master?!" Starvil asked, her surprise evident.
"It is only temporary... With you beside him, he will have a chance."
"But what about the spirits? They are with him, one already chose this Human!" Starvil questioned, a new concern surfacing.
"This realm is without a king, a ruler... And the five spirits are just guardians. If there was a ruler, Mnemosyne wouldn’t have gotten in so easily," Michael answered, his gaze distant.
"But Master, if I leave this realm, my connection with you will be cut off, I won’t be able to communicate with you again, and most of all, my strength will drop," she pointed out, her voice laced with worry.
"I know... But this is the only way." He looked up at the clear blue sky. "Don’t worry."
Michael raised his hand, and with a horizontal slash, the void tore apart, revealing Christopher’s world.
"This human isn’t strong enough to wield you yet, so you will be dormant till he is ready... I will make sure he finds you." Michael said, and a shimmering ball of light appeared before the stunned Starvil.
"Give that to him if he is worthy... That is a sliver of my divinity."
Starvil took the ball of light in her palm and stored it within her body, then bowed her head respectfully. "I won’t fail you, Master."
A red light enveloped her figure, and the next moment, a red, gold, and black colored sword appeared. It aimed at the void cracks and shot into them, disappearing from the realm.
"Now... Are you ready?" Michael asked, looking over his shoulder.
An eight-foot-tall red humanoid wolf with huge red dragon wings descended from above, hovering majestically behind Michael.
"Your first commander, ready to obey; My liege," it said, bowing its head.
"You are a primordial sage... You can single-handedly destroy that realm... But you have a new mission, Reaper," Michael said, turning his gaze back to the void crack. "You will take the top four commanders with you; the five of you will take down that bitch... But..."
He pointed a finger at the crack. "The energy in this world is so insufficient... By activating the life force tide, the world will get stronger, and after the third tide... You five will enter."
A golden beam of light condensed on his fingertip and shot into the cracks.
"Now... Get ready for this battle. With you guys’ strength, this will be the earliest battle in your life."
The wolf, known as Reaper, nodded its head. "We won’t fail you."
Michael nodded. "For now, Starvil will help." He slowly lowered his hand, turning his head to Christopher’s picture.
_____
[Back To Christopher.]
Christopher and Tiamat were currently flying towards the hill, their faces etched with confusion.
"I can’t believe such a being existed," Tiamat muttered, flying beside him, her phantom form shimmering.
"So you haven’t faced this ’Origin of Darkness’?" Christopher asked, turning to face her.
"Nope... This is the first time I am hearing of such a creature... I thought Darkness was the only threat, but now..." She sighed.
"How I wish all the ant said was a lie."
"With this new danger, we need to get stronger faster! Lazarus, Grim, and Lucas should be left in the cave; they must evolve, and get stronger! And same with the other beasts!" Christopher stated, increasing his speed, Tiamat following closely behind.
Whizzzd!!
Tiamat came to an abrupt stop. Even as a phantom, she could detect the sudden shift in the air.
Also noticing the change, Christopher also halted. He moved his gaze around their surroundings, then raised his head to the sky.
"What has such oppressive life force?" he muttered in mild horror, the pressure from above palpable.
"Whatever it is... It is powerful." Tiamat answered, a frown on her face.
’Why can’t I pinpoint what is releasing such pressure?’ She thought Inwardly.

"Yes... Arrange the table in order," Amara said, instructing the maids, her voice calm and composed.
WHOOSH!
She frowned, feeling the sudden, powerful shift in the air. "Continue your work," she instructed the maids, then walked out of the mansion.
’There aren’t many things in this world that can make me feel this way,’ she thought, stopping at the entrance and raising her head to the night sky. ’This feeling... is this fear?’
She clenched her fists, a rare sensation gripping her.
______
[Cordelia Military Command Center.]
"Vice Commander Phillip!! Look!!" A man yelled, pointing frantically at the screen. Phillip, who was busy instructing a soldier, quickly turned his head to the huge screen, watching the feeds from the satellite orbiting just outside the planet.
Everyone present watched in stunned silence as the space above the planet tore open, and a sword shot out from it, hurtling directly towards the planet.
".....?!!!"
"Is that a sword?!" Phillip was utterly stunned, his eyes wide.
WHOOSH!
"Track It!!!" he yelled at the man, his voice urgent.
"Sorry, Vice Commander, but it—"
"—Disappeared."
Phillip completed the man’s sentence, staring at the screen, which showed no sign of the sword.
"What type of sword was that?! It traveled between space! And why did it appear here?!" He looked up at the man and asked, "Can you pinpoint its location? Or destination?"
The man nodded and began tapping away at his console. The other workers and soldiers silently watched him, their faces a mixture of awe and apprehension. After a few seconds, the screen zoomed in, showing the Xavier continent.
".....?!"
Phillip was stunned.
