Replacement Bride for the Alpha of the North -
Chapter 109: FOUND HER
Chapter 109: FOUND HER
No one was supposed to know about this. Julia shouldn’t have told anyone about this big secret and they both agreed not to talk about this anymore.
So much so, there was a point where Tony believed that Emily was not his own daughter. He had always thought of her as someone else’s child and he was just there to fill the father’s role for her.
It was pretty messed up, but it helped Tony feel less guilty toward Dawn’s mother.
"This is not the time for that!" Jason said harshly. He probably wanted to buy some time for himself to come up with a reasonable excuse. "Your daughter is going into labor!"
Jason then dragged Tony out of Dawn’s bedroom, while Emily had been taken to a nearby room. From the looks of it, she was going to have early labor.
Ava and Julia were frantic, they were very worried about Emily and her baby, but Blake tried to sneak away, completely unfazed even in this situation. His intention was very obvious. He wanted to chase after Dawn, despite knowing the woman that he impregnated was going to give birth to his firstborn.
"If you dare to walk away from here, I am going to break your legs!" Jason said sternly to his son, he meant what he said and this made Ava wail even more.
Tony closed his eyes. It was a mess. It was so loud and messy here. He wanted to be anywhere but here. He wanted all this drama to be over.
"Where are you going?!" Julia shouted hysterically when she saw Tony walk away. "Our daughter is going to give birth! Where are you going?!"
Tony ignored Julia, as he walked away to look for Dawn. But she was nowhere to be found. And this time, Jason couldn’t stop him, after all, he was the alpha.
Meanwhile, Dawn felt bad for the baby. She didn’t mean any harm. Her insinuation wouldn’t even cause a scratch once the baby was born, because as far as she remembered, their firstborn looked exactly like Blake when he was little. There was no doubt he was his son.
However, she didn’t intend for Emily to have early labor. But then, it was not her, who had knocked her down, inducing an early labor.
Now, Dawn had to think about where she should go from here...
===================================
Zenith finally got a late report about Dawn’s visit to her former pack, but when he went there, it was too late. She had already left.
Emily gave birth to a baby boy the night before and she was currently recuperating. Her condition was not good and the whole pack was shaken by the commotion last night following the appearance of Dawn.
"Alpha, if you find her, could you please let me know?" Alpha Tony asked carefully, after he told him everything that happened last night.
"Why should I?" Zenith asked coldly. He was trying to figure out where Dawn would head next.
"I know that I have treated her so badly in recent years, but she is still my daughter," Alpha Tony said, half pleading with the alpha before his eyes.
"And she is my mate now. You don’t have any right to her anymore."
In this realm, when it came to women, before they met their mates, they belonged to their fathers, but once they met their mates, they would belong to their men.
In a way, what Zenith said was right. Alpha Tony had no claim over Dawn, because she belonged to him now.
"I understood, but..." Alpha Tony was still trying to argue his case, but Darius immediately intervened because he could see Zenith was getting irritated, as he needed time to think.
"Alpha Tony, let’s go outside, my alpha needs time to think." Darius tried to tell Alpha Tony not to push Zenith too far. He wouldn’t like the outcome.
Alpha Tony wanted to argue, but he stopped himself when he saw the look on the gamma’s face and went outside of the room.
Zenith didn’t even notice that he was finally alone. He was trying to think of the places that Dawn might go to.
Aside from her own pack, she only had been in the north and capital city. But, there was no way she would go back to the north on her own, not after she learned what happened in their past lives.
She wouldn’t go to the capital city either, as royal warriors would be in every corner. She wouldn’t be able to hide.
So where might she possibly go?
Zenith spent his time in this room for so long, weighing all the options, but later in the evening when Darius came to bring a meal for the alpha, he was nowhere to be found.
"Damn it!" Darius immediately mobilized all the warriors that came with him and asked Alpha Tony to ask his pack members if they saw the alpha.
"I saw a black beast, heading toward the west," said one of the pack members and a handful of people confirmed that.
"West?" Darius’ brows furrowed.
The west area was not safe, because there was a rebellion there. They staged a coup years ago, in order to take down the king from his throne.
"He wouldn’t really go to the west, right?" Darius felt like he wanted to pull his hair.
Meanwhile, Zenith did exactly what Darius had feared the most. He was heading to the west, where he sped up in his beast form, alone. It was easier for him to move without his little entourage, especially since his beast was very agitated for not being with their mate.
Zenith didn’t sleep a wink. He didn’t even stop to rest, as he rushed through the forest and swamps, until he saw her beast.
The fur of her beast was the color of brown, but under the sunlight, it looked almost golden. She was way smaller than Zenith’s black one and obviously, much slower than the alpha as well, even so, she attempted to run away once she saw him.
