Chapter 51: Chapter 49: Creepy

In the Great Stellar Kingdom, inside the castle, King Altabet sat in a dimly lit room with Aurthor and Gearor. The atmosphere was heavy, the air thick with tension. Altabet reclined on a red couch behind a glass table, his right hand resting on his face, his eyes closed as he thought deeply. Aurthor sat across from him, his hands pressed to his forehead, his expression tense. Gearor stood silently beside the king, his usual stoic demeanor unshaken.

"What should we do...?" King Altabet asked, his voice uneasy.

Aurthor looked up, his face grim. "I don’t know... This is something we’ve never faced before..."

Altabet stood up abruptly, his frustration evident. "We have no choice but to ask for her help..."

Aurthor hesitated, then nodded reluctantly. "Yeah... we’ve got no other way..."

Meanwhile, in Paradise Garden, I sat in a large treehouse built by the elves. The area was surrounded by lush jungle, with elf treehouses scattered among the trees. In the distance, I could see the human settlement, bustling with activity.

"I didn’t know they could be this helpful," I said softly, admiring the progress.

[Humans are the smartest creatures, after all,] Aries replied.

I huffed, taking a bite of a banana. "Not only did they build an entire area for themselves, but they’re also the ones growing the most fruits, both in quality and quantity."

I turned my head, watching as humans, beastmen, and elves worked together, placing bricks one by one to construct a massive wall.

"I guess the wall surrounding the island will take some time," I muttered, finishing the banana and burning its peel into dust.

Standing up, I jumped down from the treehouse, landing gracefully on a brick path below. "Well, they even built roads," I said, impressed, as I began walking along the path.

Children played in the fields, and as I passed, people bowed their heads in respect. I smiled back, feeling a sense of pride. The settlement now had water fountains, street shops, and painted houses. "Hmm, the development isn’t fast, but at least we’re making progress," I said to myself.

As I turned a corner, I heard Bokkon’s voice screaming. I looked over to see him hanging upside down, trapped in Lunara’s dark ropes. Yooto was trying to shoot arrows at her, but she vanished and reappeared behind him, capturing him in the same dark ropes.

"Guess they’re training..." I said, chuckling, before continuing my walk toward the church.

Along the way, I noticed a small wooden stall in the corner of a house. It had wheels and a cloth covering to shield it from the sun. Inside, the mayor and elder sat, their faces red as they laughed and drank alcohol.

"These old people will never stop drinking," I said with a huff, shaking my head as I walked past.

Finally, I reached the church and stepped inside.

[You know you can teleport directly inside the church, right? Why are you walking?] Aries asked.

(Well, sometimes walking is a good habit,) I replied, making my way to the top couch and sitting down.

"Hmm, it’s been almost two days since Aurthor and Gearor left. I wonder what they’re doing... Should I call them?" I mused.

Just as I was thinking, Aurthor’s voice echoed in my mind. *(Lady Sumi? Lady Sumi, are you there?)*

My eyes widened slightly. *(Oh, hey, Aurthor! What a great timing—I was just thinking about you!)* I replied, but his tone was serious.

*(Lady Sumi, there’s a problem...)* he said.

*(What’s wrong?)* I asked, my own voice growing serious.

*(Can you please come here...?)* he requested.

I stood up immediately. *(Alright... you don’t have to wait.)*

A blue, spinning portal appeared behind me. I stepped through it, reappearing in a large, ornate room where King Altabet, Gearor, and Aurthor stood waiting. As soon as they saw me, they rose to their feet, their expressions grim.

"What’s wrong? Did something happen?" I asked, my voice filled with concern.

Altabet stepped forward, his voice hesitant. "Lady Sumi..."

I looked at him, my tone firm. "What’s going on? Why are you all so worried and serious?"

They exchanged uneasy glances before Aurthor spoke. "Please... follow us."

I nodded, though confusion gnawed at me, and followed them through a long, dimly lit hall. The only light came from torches lining the walls, casting flickering shadows. As we walked deeper, I began to hear faint cries and screams echoing through the corridor.

My heart raced as the sounds grew louder. Finally, we reached a massive gate guarded by two soldiers. They bowed their heads as the king approached.

Altabet turned to me, his face pale. "Behind this door... is something unimaginable..."

I swallowed hard, my stomach churning. Suddenly, Aries’ voice echoed in my mind. **[Something isn’t right...]**

I clenched my fists, steeling myself, and walked toward the door. Placing my hand on the handle, I slowly pushed it open.

What I saw made my blood run cold.

The room was filled with people lying on the ground in a rows and columes, writhing in pain and screaming. Their heads were a sickly purple, the skin looking gelatinous, as if their skulls had turned to jelly. Their eyes were dislocated—one looking right, the other left. None of them wore shirts, their chests also purple and jelly-like, pulsating grotesquely with each heartbeat.

Men, women, and even children were among them. Some humans in magic masks were administering potions and medicine, but it was clear their efforts were futile.

I covered my mouth with my hand, sweat beading on my forehead. "Wha—what is this...?" I stammered, my voice trembling.

Bokkon looked at me he was also sweating badly he came towards me and said

"I.. I can’t look at this please help us lady Sumi these people are in extreme pain..."

I looked at him with a complete shock face the people lying there screaming and crying begging for help then i heard a voice saying...

"I’d rather die then suffering from this pain..."
