Chapter 49: Chapter 47: Something Unknown

After the battle with Lunara, I used my earth magic to repair the training ground, and everyone resumed their training. Aurthor, Bokkon, Yooto, Lunara, the twin sisters, and I returned to the church.

"Ohhh, you guys look great in those!" I said, admiring Himiko and Hinari as they sat on the couch in front of me. I had given them matching outfits—a blue skirt, a black top, and a flower hairband.

Himiko and Hinari glanced at each other, their cheeks turning pink. "Thank you, Lady Sumi," they said in unison, their voices soft and shy.

Lunara, sitting in the corner of the room, pouted with a fake sad expression. "How can a master be so harsh on their supporter?" she whined.

I looked at her with a smile and replied in a straight tone, "Well, you’re the one who wanted a fight, so I gave you one."

She huffed, crossing her arms. "You could’ve gone a little easier on me..."

I chuckled, then turned back to the twins. Himiko spoke up, her voice filled with admiration. "Lady Sumi is so strong..."

Hinari nodded, adding, "Yes, very, very strong."

I smiled warmly at them. "You two are strong too. But more importantly, you look absolutely adorable in those dresses!"

They blushed even harder, their smiles widening.

From the corner, Lunara muttered, "You’ve never complimented me in my dress..."

I gave her a small, teasing smile. "Maybe next time."

Aurthor, who had been sitting quietly on the couch, suddenly spoke up. "Lady Sumi, I have a question."

I turned to him, curious. "Yes, Aurthor? What is it?"

He looked at me, his expression a mix of curiosity and confusion. "What was that last attack you used? I noticed it didn’t just damage the ground—it also broke Miss Lunara’s domain. And I’m pretty sure that attack could’ve killed all of us, even the spectators, but it didn’t harm anyone..."

Bokkon and Yooto stared at him in shock. "Eh? You saw that?" Bokkon asked.

Yooto added, "I didn’t see anything at all!"

I smiled and replied calmly, "Oh, I just removed the harmful function from that attack. I made it so it would only damage the domain and the ground."

Their eyes widened in disbelief. Aurthor’s voice trembled as he asked, "You... can remove functions from attacks...?"

I nodded simply. "Yes."

"Amazing," Himiko whispered, her voice filled with awe.

"Yes, amazing," Hinari echoed.

Yooto chuckled, shaking his head. "That’s Lady Sumi for you..."

They all smiled and nodded, but the moment was interrupted as Gearor materialized in the middle of the room.

"Oh, hey, Gearor. You’re back," I said, turning to him.

But Gearor’s expression was serious. "Prince Aurthor... the king is calling for you."

Without a question Aurthor stood up immediately, his demeanor shifting. "Is that so..." He turned to me and bowed slightly. "Sorry, Lady Sumi, but it seems I have to go for now."

I nodded. "If the king is calling, it must be important. Go ahead."

Gearor bowed to me as well, then vanished into thin air. Aurthor’s body glowed white, and he disappeared in an instant.

I frowned slightly, a thought crossing my mind. *(What could have happened...?)*

Suddenly, Aries’ voice echoed in my head. **[Notice...]**

A shockwave-like sensation rushed through my body, and my eyes widened.

"Lady Sumi... are you okay?" Bokkon asked, his voice filled with concern.

"You look like something’s wrong," he added.

Yooto, Lunara, and the twins all turned to me, their expressions confused.

I forced a smile. "Oh, it’s nothing. I was just thinking about something."

Bokkon nodded, though he still looked worried. "Oh... alright."

In my mind, I asked, *(Aries, what was that?)*

**[Someone just tried to forcefully teleport you somewhere else, but they failed,]** Aries replied.

*(Huh? Teleport?)* I asked, confused.

**[Yes. It was something akin to divine power]** Aries explained.

*(What????)* I asked in confusion

**[Didn’t you hear in the first time..i said something akin to divine power]** Aries replied straightly

*(Yea i heard but why would a divine power try to teleport me?)* I asked, my confusion growing.

**[Not enough information,]** Aries replied simply.

I closed my eyes, deep in thought. Meanwhile, Bokkon, Yooto, and Lunara continued to watch me with concern, while Himiko and Hinari quietly ate their fruits.

Then, something clicked in my mind then in my mind i said.

*(Aries, can you explain the skill ’The Language of the World’?)*

**[Skill: The Language of the World is [Error] [Error] [Error] [Error],]** Aries replied, her voice glitching.

*(Again...? It’s not that she can’t explain it... but something is blocking her from doing so. Is this somehow connected to the teleportation attempt?)* I wondered, my thoughts racing.

Suddenly, the door opened, and Jekkob entered. "Lady Sumi!"

I looked up. "Oh, hey, Jekkob."

He bowed slightly. "The people you asked for have arrived from the Stellar Kingdom."

I stood up, nodding. "Oh, good. Tell them to wait in the Town Hall. I’ll be there soon."

Jekkob bowed again. "Yes, Lady Sumi." He turned and left.

"People from the Stellar Kingdom?" Bokkon asked, confused.

I nodded. "Yes. Remember the passport system I talked about?"

Bokkon’s eyes lit up. "Oh, right! The thing where others need permission to enter our country?"

"Exactly," I replied. "I’ve called some government officials from the Stellar Kingdom to discuss it."

"Ah, I see," Bokkon said, nodding.

"Well, you guys can relax and do whatever you want. I’ll be busy for a while," I said, then vanished.

I reappeared in front of the Town Hall’s door. *(I think I need to wear something more formal...)*

My body glowed briefly, and my outfit transformed. I now wore a black, form-fitting bodice with metallic accents and red gemstone details, paired with a white corset-like section. A high-collared choker connected to the outfit, adding structure. Over this, I wore a partially unzipped black jacket with silver and red detailing, featuring sharp, armored designs on the sleeves and shoulders. Dark floral motifs and angular patterns completed the look.

*(This should be fine!)* I thought, admiring the outfit.

**[In your words, you look like an emo]** Aries quipped.

*(Shut up. This outfit is inspired by a main character from a show I used to watch,)* I retorted.

Just then, I heard the sound of the Town Hall doors opening from other side, followed by Jekkob’s voice. "Please have a seat. The queen will appear shortly."

The sound of people sitting on the couches reached my ears. I took a deep breath, steeling myself. *(Act like a ruler... or queen... or president... or whatever.)*

I placed my hand on the door handle, my expression calm and confident. Slowly, I pushed the door open.
