Chapter 48: Chapter 46: Sumi vs. Lunara
A huge smile spread across Lunara’s face as she declared, "Now, after watching that fight, I can’t control myself... I also want to fight Master!"
As she said that, Bokkon, Aurthor, and Yooto stared at her in complete shock and disbelief.
I was still hugging the twins, but I slowly stood up and said, "You two can rest now... because it looks like I’m getting another challenger." I turned my gaze to Lunara, who was walking toward us with unwavering confidence. Bokkon and the others tried to stop her, but she brushed past them, her eyes locked on me.
Himiko and Hinari exchanged a glance, then nodded at me with a smile before stepping back to join the others.
I turned to face Lunara, my voice calm but firm. "So, you want to fight too, huh?"
She smirked, her tone dripping with confidence. "Why don’t we, Master and servant, have some great fun?"
I gave a small smile and replied, "Well, if you insist, then I don’t mind."
As I said that, Bokkon, Aurthor, and Yooto exchanged horrified looks. Aurthor shouted, "EVERYONE!!! Step back!!! This distance isn’t enough!!!"
The three of them started running, and the others quickly followed, creating as much distance as possible. Jekkob, watching from the sidelines, muttered under his breath, "Looks like the training ground is a goner..."
Lunara and I stood face to face, the air crackling with tension. With a confident grin, she said, "I’ll do the counting this time."
I nodded, my smile never wavering. She began counting.
"3..."
"2..."
"1..."
As soon as she said "1," we both vanished in an instant, the ground beneath us cracking from the force. In the next moment, we reappeared in front of each other, our fists colliding with a thunderous explosion. The impact sent shockwaves rippling through the air.
Lunara jumped back, raising her hand and shouting, "Shadow Domain!"
A dark orb formed in her palm, which she hurled to the ground. The earth beneath us began to darken, spreading rapidly—but it stopped just short of the spectators.
Aurthor, Bokkon, and Yooto exchanged serious looks. "She’s using the Shadow Domain..." Aurthor muttered, his voice tense.
I glanced at the darkened ground, but before I could react, Lunara vanished and reappeared behind me. A dark flame ignited in her hand as she swung at me, but I slid my leg out, sweeping her off her feet.
"Ow!" she yelped, landing on her back.
I raised my hand, conjuring a fireball, and slammed it toward her face. The explosion was deafening, but as the dust cleared, she was gone.
"That was close," she said, appearing behind me again. I turned to see her smiling, though beads of sweat were forming on her forehead. She raised both hands, and dark tendrils rose from the ground, wrapping around me and pinning me in place.
I glanced at the restraints, Lunara appeared in front of me, her hand glowing with dark energy as she launched a punch. But before it could connect, a dark barrier materialized, blocking her attack.
Her eyes widened in surprise, but I didn’t give her time to recover. With a flick of my wrist, the tendrils shattered. I raised my fist, now engulfed in flames, and swung at her—but she vanished again, reappearing a distance away.
From the sidelines, Aurthor, Bokkon, and Yooto watched intently. "She used the Shadow Domain during our training too... and when it’s active, she’s a monster," Aurthor said, his voice shaky.
Bokkon nodded. "We know..."
Yooto added, "When she used it during our training, she could predict our every move and dodge everything."
Aurthor continued, "She even dodged my attacks in my god-speed form... It’s like she can sense anything within her domain, no matter how fast or invisible it is. Her domain automatically prevents her from getting hit."
The three of them paled at the thought.
Back in the battle, Lunara placed her hand on the ground and commanded, "Rise."
A massive shadow dragon emerged from the darkened earth, its roar shaking the ground. I tilted my head, intrigued.
"She can use Shadow Summon even though she’s a Shadow Born herself... Interesting."
Lunara pointed at me, and the dragon charged. I stood my ground, raising my hand and calmly saying, "Fall."
A tremendous force slammed down from above, crushing the dragon into the ground before it disintegrated into shadows.
Lunara’s eyes widened in shock, but before she could react, I raised my finger and whispered, "Dark Lightning."
A bolt of black lightning streaked toward her at blinding speed. She vanished just in time, reappearing behind me—but I smirked. The lightning changed direction mid-air, striking her from behind and sending her flying.
"Ahhhhhh!" she screamed, tumbling across the ground.
I raised my hand again, summoning water spears that surrounded her from all sides. Before she could react, the spears shot toward her, creating a massive explosion.
She fell to the ground, coughing. "H-how...?" she stammered, looking up at me with wide eyes.
I floated above her, my red eyes glowing as I smiled down at her.
From the sidelines, Aurthor, Bokkon, and Yooto were stunned. "How?" Yooto asked.
"Is her domain not working?" Bokkon wondered aloud.
Aurthor think deeply and shook his head. "No... it’s not that her domain isn’t working. It’s that the domain doesn’t exist for Lady Sumi." He paused, his voice serious. "Unlike our attacks, no matter how fast they are, they’re still avoidable... But Lady Sumi’s attacks are meant to hit their target, no matter what. To her, that domain is nothing but a dark patch of ground."
The others stared at him, then at me, their expressions a mix of awe and disbelief. "Well, who are we even talking about?" Yooto said with a nervous laugh.
Bokkon nodded. "Yeah... it’s Lady Sumi after all."
Back in the battlefield, Lunara slowly stood up, She looked at me with a mix of fear and admiration.
I looked at her and in a small soft tone i said
"Well it’s time to end this.."
I raised my finger, a small, dark circle forming above it. The circle spun at an insane speed, radiating an ominous energy. Lunara stared at it, her curiosity mixed with unease. She clenched her fists, preparing for whatever was coming.
I slowly pointed my finger toward the ground and whispered, "Cosmic..."
The dark circle shot downward, hitting the ground with a deafening **BOMMMMMMMMMMM!!!**
A colossal explosion erupted, shaking the earth violently. Black and purple smoke billowed into the air, obscuring everything in its path. The ground trembled as if the world itself was coming apart.
Lunara raised her hands, conjuring a magic barrier to shield herself. But the sheer force of the explosion shattered it instantly, and she was engulfed in the blast. "Ahhhhhh!" she screamed, her voice barely audible over the chaos.
The spectators stumbled, struggling to maintain their balance as the ground continued to quake. When the shaking finally subsided, the smoke began to clear, revealing the aftermath.
I floated in the air, the ground beneath me completely obliterated. A massive crater stretched out in all directions, the once-solid training ground now a gaping hole. Lunara sat at the edge of the crater, steam rising from her body. She coughed, her face pale but unharmed.
She looked up at me, her voice shaky. "Well... I lose..."
I smiled down at her, my red eyes glowing softly. The spectators were left in stunned silence, their jaws hanging open at the sheer power they had just witnessed.
From the corner of the field, Himiko and Hinari stood frozen, their faces a mix of shock and awe. They glanced at the destruction, then back at me, their expressions unreadable.
I gave them a small, reassuring smile
