"This doesn’t make sense! How are you only C rank when I am A ranked? This must be wrong," Yenissa said, visibly bothered by what she was seeing. She didn’t even know how to react—based on the data she had gathered, C rank was on the level of common soldiers guarding the gates of the Percival Barony. To Yenissa, this was completely outrageous.

"Calm down, Yenissa! This is not absurd," Shennong said calmly. He understood the power system better than anyone. "Let me explain how this works."

"For example, you’re A rank, but if I had to guess, Romina is above A rank—she might even be S rank, because I can’t properly see her power level despite my [Scannable] skill being level two. But when you first fought her, you completely defeated her," Shennong explained, as if he were teaching a toddler, pointing out every little detail.

"I think power level just gives a rough idea, but it doesn’t determine who wins or loses. It’s just a simple representation of raw power, and that’s it—it doesn’t take tactics, timing, knowledge, or anything like that into account."

Yenissa nodded in agreement. He was right. A battle or a fight wasn’t solely determined by raw power, and the proof of that was standing right in front of her.

"But I should say, even without those factors, you’ve improved quite a bit. [Sandboxer], the skill that determines crafting rank and the power of your pickaxe and buildings, is already level 3, and [Scannable] is level 2. I think you’re doing great."

"Haha~ My development is nothing compared to yours. I’m genuinely jealous of you," Shennong said in a joking tone.

Seeing Yenissa smile was one of the rare joys in Shennong’s life, and he would do anything to see that smile again. However, it wasn’t all that rare—at least, not when she was with him.

To Yenissa, Shennong was her happiness, and to Shennong, Yenissa was his.

"Shennong, I didn’t ask much about this before, but what does Crafting Rank do? There are a lot of new blueprints updated ever since you upgraded to Crafting Rank 2... Can you explain that part to me?"

"It wasn’t very significant when it was level 1 because it only gave me basic structures like chests, wooden beams, beds, and things like that. But when it comes to Rank 2, it’s different. Rank 1 was all about building a cozy home and had almost everything needed for that. However, level 2 allows me to build a crafting station, which will help me make complex armor and create some interesting things. And it doesn’t take much to build this crafting station... just a few pieces of wood and some metal."

Yenissa was still confused. "Do you need that crafting station to craft something? If you know the recipe, can’t you just make things on your own?"

Shennong smiled at her words, knowing it was a valid criticism, and he had an answer for it. "No... my Sandboxer skill doesn’t allow me to make things without using my abilities. So, unlike an ordinary builder, unless I scan something and copy the blueprints or use this crafting station, I can’t build freely just by thinking about it. It’s a huge drawback because it limits what I can create from my imagination. But it doesn’t really matter when I have this huge catalog of things to build. Who knows? Maybe in the future, I’ll gain the ability to build anything I can imagine."

"Don’t worry! If you have any ideas, just tell me... let’s kidnap some humans and make them do the work," Yenissa said with a grin.

Shennong only smiled and responded with something Yenissa didn’t find amusing.

"I don’t think Cassandra would like that."

It was a simple sentence, but it made Yenissa squint at him before turning her head away, pouting.

"Is that so? Then you should go and ask for that human woman’s help—"

Shennong knew he had made a mistake, but he also knew Yenissa wasn’t seriously mad. Instead, she was making sure she was still his priority, which he found adorable. He couldn’t help but smile at how this dangerous succubus pouted like a cute little girl. Seeing his reaction, Yenissa broke down smiling as well. The two of them exchanged smiles for a few moments before finally returning to the topic they had been discussing.

Their entire conversation had taken place while they were looking at a huge wooden board with some writings on it. Both of their gazes returned to the board, which bore the title: First Floor - Moonlight Forest.

"Hmm~ ’Moonlight Forest’ is an interesting idea for the first floor, but isn’t this too ambitious? Can we really create an entire ecosystem underground like this?" Yenissa questioned, her arms crossed as she examined the plans Shennong had laid out before her.

Shennong leaned back slightly, a confident glint in his eyes. "Honestly, at first, I wasn’t sure if it was even possible. I always dreamed of building a forest bathed in blue moonlight, a place with a dark yet ethereal ambiance. But if it had turned out to be unfeasible, I had backup plans too. Now, though..." He smirked, tapping the blueprint on the table. "Thanks to Maron bringing in the Merchant Guild members, I know we have access to the materials and resources we need. So yes, I’m 100% certain we can make this happen."

Yenissa arched an eyebrow. "I see. You mentioned creating an artificial sky and a moon. But how exactly do you plan on doing that?"

Shennong’s expression brightened as he explained, "I heard about an ore called Lunamarite. It has the unique property of absorbing mana and emitting a soft, bluish glow. If we coat the ceiling and walls with it, we can mimic the night sky. Right now, all we have down here is mud and clay, but once we line the cavern with Lunamarite—everywhere except the floor where the trees will grow—it’ll transform the space into something truly breathtaking."

"Hmm~ that does sound promising," Yenissa mused. "But what about the moon? You still haven’t explained how you’re going to replicate that."

Shennong scratched his chin. "That’s the tricky part. I don’t have a concrete solution yet, but I do have some ideas. There are scholars and enchanters who specialize in celestial magic—I plan to consult them. If we can create a floating structure embedded with Lunamarite and enhance it with light-reflecting magic, we might be able to simulate a real moon. Still, it’s something we need to experiment with."

Yenissa nodded thoughtfully. "So, we need to secure a large supply of Lunamarite and find a way to create an artificial moon. That’s quite the undertaking. What about the forest itself? The trees, the monsters, the ecosystem—how do you plan to introduce life down here?"

Shennong grinned, clearly enjoying the challenge. "For that, I don’t think we need anything too exotic. Any tree, monster, or animal that can adapt to this environment will do. We can start by gathering specimens from the surface forest, then monitor how they adapt to the underground conditions. That’s my plan for tomorrow—I’ll be heading out to study the flora and fauna we can bring in."

"Hmm~ that makes sense. But you know, we’ll need more than just plants and creatures," Yenissa pointed out. "If this place is going to be self-sustaining, we need to consider food chains, water sources, and even how the air circulates underground."

Shennong gave a confident nod. "I’ve already thought about that. The cavern system naturally filters air, but I’ll reinforce it with wind tunnels. As for water, I’ll redirect underground springs to form rivers and lakes. Everything needs to be balanced."

Yenissa smirked. "You really have thought of everything, haven’t you?"

He chuckled. "I try."

She hesitated for a moment, then added, "There’s one more thing. I heard that human woman’s daughter is attending an academy in the capital, and the official Mage Unit is stationed there as well..."

Shennong’s eyes lit up. "Ah, you’re thinking what I’m thinking."

Yenissa nodded. "We might need to establish a tunnel to the capital. If we can connect this place to the city through an underground passage, it would make transporting materials—and people—much easier."

Shennong let out a low whistle. "Now that’s an idea. It’ll take time, but if we pull it off, it’ll give us an enormous strategic advantage. I’ll start working on the logistics for that as well."

Yenissa crossed her arms again, smirking. "You sure you can handle all this, genius?"

Shennong grinned. "Of course. Just watch—I’ll make this place a legend."
