Edward paused when he noticed Damon’s hand on Olivia’s wrist. A look of possessiveness on his face that alerted him.

He stood up following the courtesy to his guests. Every eye fell on Olivia and Damon for his actions.

"Olivia!" He called her intimately. The woman smiled sweetly as she walked in.

"Your highnesses!" she curtsied toward them elegantly before turning to the guests. Then she folded her hands. Her shoulders straight with a look of confidence in her eyes.

"Welcome to our land, I hope you like the food here." her voice left the room stunned. She could speak the eastern language? Why did none of them know?

Even Damon, who had told himself he did not care about her secret, was stunned speechless.

The guest smiled sweetly. The head of their team, a man in his late forties, stood up and folded his hands back.

"I am delighted to hear your accent. It matched us well. Have you ever been to our lands?" his face softened a lot. Before he was talking to them with a stiff look and wary eyes.

"My family land was closer to your land. I spent my childhood there, but it was a long time ago." her eyes dimmed but she shook that feeling away. "I always wanted to meet you and try your food. Please do not mind me, I am just being curious." she laughed sweetly looking embarrassed but the man only looked happy by her comment.

"Is she even a noble? How could she discuss food the moment she met someone?" Diana frowned and spoke in their native language with a thick accent to make sure they did not understand her as she looked at Edward with displeasure. "What is she even doing here in the first place?"

When she was told that Olivia was invited to the meeting because her brother was chasing her, she had thought the woman would stand meekly in the corner. But this woman! Did Olivia think she was the hostess here? Daina could not accept being sidelined. She was talking to their head when Olivia interrupted it. She was sure Olivia did it intentionally.

Edward frowned too. There was still so much he did not know about Olivia. Every time, she showed him her new face. But this could be good. He could see the dark faces of Elio and Amber already.

"Do not spout nonsense, Diana. She is only trying to help. Look how enthusiastically they were talking to her." he chided his twin sister, making her frown.

She rolled her eyes, "they must be discussing recipes. I heard about fruits and coconut." did Olivia think it was a kitchen?

Edward sighed too. Though finding common ground was good, cooking could not be the main discussion.

But he was still hopeful seeing all of them were talking to her like they knew each other for a long time.

They all took their seats and they offered Oliva to sit with them. She looked at Elio and Eward and when Edward nodded, she smiled and sat beside the only woman in the group.

They were talking again and they could only catch beauty and a few other words. It was not that they had not practiced the language before! As royal families they were taught many languages, it was their accent and their speed which was making it hard to understand.

They needed to speak slowly and a few times to understand it well. Amber smiled looking at Diana.

"Princess, I think we do not need anymore. Look at Lady Witherland, she had won their hearts already. I am sure she would find a way to win their hearts too." she sighed helplessly as if she was already defeated but her eyes shone viciously as she marked Olivia her enemy!

Diana frowned. In Spite of animosity between Elio and Edeard, she liked Amber. The girl was the daughter of the duke yet she was kind and knew her limits. But Olivia, she only greeted them superficially. Forget about them, she did not even eye Edward again. Such haughtiness in a fallen noble!

"Ha! You must be joking, Princess Amber." Diana narrowed her eyes as she took her seat beside Damon.

"How difficult could it be to win the heart of these barbarians. She is just taking advantage of her glib tongue. I am sure even maids could do a better job if they knew their language." Diana smiled as she whispered to Damon. She leaned closer as if she was worried that they might hear her. But in reality, she wanted to breathe on his skin.

This man! He was going to be hers! Nobles in their kingdom were weak and cowardly, depending on their knights to save them. But Damon! He was a real man with that tanned body and broad shoulders. She wanted to touch his taut chest and feel the iron beneath her skin.

She had her eyes on him since he had returned from the war. She had never seen such a strong and powerful noble before. Wealth, statues, power, he had it all. How could such a perfect man belong to someone else! He was hers. And she would make sure to mark him tonight.

She eyed him with the look of a predator in her eyes. Amber smiled and shook her head. But her hands tightened around the glass as she watched the envoy showing Olivia her bracelet.

Olivia smiled animatedly and pointed at her earrings. From food to clothes and now to jewels, they were moving too fast. It seems like idle chatter but Olivia was not only winning their hearts but advertising their strengths too. Everyone knew that they have better fruits due to tropical lands and their jewels design was something eastern lands like. The woman had come prepared. But she would not let that happen, she had to deal with this nuisance first. Amber stood up and walked to them, she bent her knees stiffly to sit on the floor with them but forced a bright smile on her face,

"Madam, I heard that you wanted to visit our night market before I came here but you were afraid of being overwhelmed. But I am sure if Lady Olivia accompanied you, you would be at ease."
