Chapter 517: Chapter 517: Let’s return tenfold what Abigail suffered today.
Pullan cleared out the other students before looking at Lena Locke who was wrestling with Duncan Symons, and at Wilson Jasper, who was trying to stop Lena from being hit by Duncan but ended up getting hit himself by Duncan’s counterattacks.
Ralf and Master Hudson stood aside wanting to intervene, but seeing the rarely enraged Lena, both were a bit hesitant.
In the end, Pullan stepped forward, grabbed each of them by the collar, "You two go back to school first. Leave the rest to me."
Lena was still clawing at the air, wanting to continue attacking Duncan while Pullan was hauling her by the collar.
Duncan’s face and body were covered in scratches, clumps of hair lay on the ground. Seeing Lena like this, he scrambled up with his scratched face, intending to retaliate, using his broken nails to scratch at Lena’s face.
Lena yelled angrily, "Brother Pullan, let me go!"
In the next moment, Pullan kicked Duncan in the stomach, sending him flying in a parabolic arc, preventing Lena from being scratched.
Lena, still furious, watched Duncan fly through the air in shock, then turned her head to stare blankly at Pullan.
Only then did Pullan release both of them.
Lena glanced at the motionless Duncan, then turned and rushed to Abigail Green, hugging her tightly, "Abigail, Abigail, are you okay!"
"I’m fine..." Abigail’s voice was hoarse and dry; the medication had raised her temperature again.
Lena released her, "Why are you so hot?"
Ralf and Wilson also wanted to rush in, but were blocked by two ordinary-looking but stern-faced men. They could only ask from a distance, "Should we take her to the hospital?"
The man with the grim face inside heard the commotion, strode out, coldly swept his gaze over them, then picked up a new set of sheets from the janitor’s cart that had been left outside, and approached with an expressionless face, "Move aside."
None of them expected Brandon Piers to emerge from the hotel room, and they were so startled they quickly released Abigail.
Then they watched as Brandon wrapped Abigail in the bedsheet from head to toe, leaving no skin exposed.
The group watched in stunned silence.
When Brandon touched Abigail, he felt her temperature, "Take the young mistress to the hospital."
Abigail didn’t move, reaching out to gently tug at his suit, "Brandon, please don’t be angry with me..."
"Hurry up," Brandon did not respond to her, continuing to give orders.
Just then, a disheveled Jeffrey Foster staggered out, murmuring, "Abigail, Abigail."
Brandon’s patience had completely worn out for the day. He turned and punched Jeffrey in the face.
Bang!
Jeffrey, drunk and drugged, couldn’t withstand it, and fell heavily to the ground with a thud.
Abigail shuddered in fright, feeling Brandon’s disappointed gaze sweep over her. Her mouth moved to explain, but he had already turned away.
Sophie Hope dared not delay any longer, shielding Abigail as they walked out.
Lena Locke, her head spinning from everything that had happened, muttered, "Second Young Master? Young Mistress? And Mr. Foster?"
What on earth was going on!
Ralf and Wilson were equally bewildered.
Until Wilson was wrapped up just like Abigail and sent out of the hotel, sitting in the car watching the reporters following them, the three still felt like they were in a fog, only Master Hudson remained silent.
No one knew how much time passed before Lena found her voice, "So Abigail didn’t lie to us. She really is dating the Second Young Master, because she is the Young Mistress?"
"Seems like it," Wilson nodded.
"Oh my God, we are actually friends with the Young Mistress," Ralf remarked.
"But what about Mr. Foster?" Lena murmured again.
At this moment, Wilson noticed Master Hudson had been silent the whole time, "Master Hudson, you’re also from Gills City, didn’t you know something?"
"You guys are right, Abigail Green is the Second Young Master’s fiancée, they got engaged in Gills City earlier," Davis Hudson replied softly.
"Then you... well, Abigail wants to keep a low profile." Lena was going to say why Master Hudson didn’t tell them, but then guessed Abigail’s intention, changed the topic, and couldn’t help adding, "I’ve seen pictures of the Young Mistress online, she was... around 200 pounds, right? Nowhere near as pretty as Abigail!"
Ralf scorned, "Of course she slimmed down."
Lena suddenly understood, then sighed, "Did you guys notice, Abigail looked much better after taking off her glasses. If she lost more weight, what would Bertha Swift have to say."
Wilson nodded in agreement.
Ralf and Davis didn’t comment.
After they were sent away, Abigail also went to the hospital.
Watching as the man did not follow, her heart sank bit by bit, but as time passed, her consciousness faded, her mind filled with thoughts of him being angry at her... what to do...
Sophie watched Abigail, full of self-reproach. She had been hired with a high salary by the Second Young Master to protect Abigail, to ensure her safety on campus.
Yet she not only lost track of her but was also tricked by the other party into thinking Abigail had been taken out of the karaoke bar, wasting the Second Young Master’s people’s efforts to find her.
"I’m sorry!" Sophie helped Abigail into the car, her face full of guilt.
Kennan Max only instructed the driver to start the car after ensuring no reporters were following.
Now, saying anything was futile, they just hoped the Young Mistress was alright and the Second Young Master wouldn’t be too angry.
...
Hotel.
After Abigail left, only Brandon Piers and Jeffrey Foster remained in the room.
Looking at the man lying on the ground, Brandon had the urge to kill, but merely coldly ordered, "Call Dean Foster’s betrothed, tell her to come take care of Dean Foster."
"Yes." Kelvin Max, who had arrived unknowingly, quickly responded.
Only then did Brandon turn disdainfully and leave the room.
Pullan hurriedly followed, "The Young Mistress was sent to the nearest hospital, do you want to go?"
Brandon coldly glanced at Pullan, "When the incident happened, where were those two?"
"They were at the restaurant, afraid to be found by the Young Mistress, staying outside all the time, with Sophie Hope accompanying her inside. But when the Young Mistress came out, she heard someone calling for a doctor and ran over. Sophie was blocked by a waiter, and by the time they caught up, she was already gone." Pullan had quickly learned the situation.
"Replace those two. Track down Jeffrey Foster’s involvement in this." Brandon did not believe Duncan could pull this off alone.
Especially using Abigail’s urge to help others.
"Yes." Pullan responded quickly, as they passed the still unconscious Duncan.
Brandon paused his steps, a thin, cold smile appeared, "Return tenfold what Abigail suffered today."
Pullan involuntarily shivered, "Yes."
After they left, Duncan was dragged into one of the rooms, and soon, all remaining male waiters from karaoke were sent in.
