Chapter 516: Chapter 516: Is Abigail Green with Mr. Foster......
Brandon Piers came in and saw Abigail Green pressing on top of Jeffrey Foster. His face instantly darkened like a stormy sky.
Abigail’s remaining sanity made her want to get up, but Jeffrey grabbed her and said, "Mmm, Abigail, I love you. Don’t go. Don’t leave me..."
This confession came too suddenly, and Abigail’s mind went blank.
Even though she had sensed from Jeffrey’s words that he liked her, it was far less shocking than hearing "Abigail, I love you" whispered in her ear.
For a moment, Abigail was stunned there until Jeffery’s lips almost touched hers. She suddenly awoke, turned her head aside, and his lips brushed past her shoulder.
The next moment, Abigail felt the room’s temperature suddenly drop, making her body tremble. She didn’t know where the strength came from, but she pushed him away and turned around, stumbling as she said, "Brandon Piers, listen to me. Let me explain..."
Brandon stood silently, looking at Abigail, who was only wearing a slip dress. His amber eyes were filled with coldness.
At this moment, Pullan followed in. "Second Young Master, there is a message..."
"Get out!" Pullan had not even seen the room’s situation clearly when Brandon’s shout forced him to hurriedly withdraw.
Abigail’s steps were unsteady as she struggled to reach out to Brandon. "Brandon Piers, listen to me. It’s not what you think..."
Seeing the man’s dark face and anger, she became anxious, but her body, drugged, didn’t obey her. What was worse, Jeffrey on the bed continued to pester.
She reached out to Brandon, wanting to explain and hoping for his help, but the man standing not far away just looked at her coldly.
That glance made Abigail’s heart ache. "Brandon..."
"Abigail, don’t go. I know you love me. I know it. I love you too..." Jeffrey seemed even more intoxicated, unable to tell Abigail from, well, Abigail, and still tried to pull her.
Avoiding him, Abigail stumbled heavily onto the ground.
Brandon’s body stiffened for a moment, wanting to step forward. But looking at Abigail’s sexy slip dress and Jeffrey’s continuous confessing on the bed, he couldn’t move a single step, calling out hoarsely, "Sophie."
Sophie Hope immediately walked in. Seeing Abigail on the floor and Jeffrey on the bed, she was momentarily stunned, then took off her coat to wrap Abigail. "Are you okay? Can you get up?"
Abigail didn’t expect Brandon to be unwilling even to touch her. An indescribable pain stabbed her heart. She gritted her teeth and nodded. But when Sophie helped her up, her legs went weak, and she fell heavily back down.
Sophie quickly put more effort into half-lifting Abigail.
"Take her to the hospital," Brandon instructed in a calm voice, his gaze lingering on Abigail’s exposed fair calf, his eyes deepening.
Abigail’s eyes were still on Brandon, sensing the detachment and coolness from him. She tried to grasp him, but Brandon’s glance swept over, making her hand freeze in mid-air, losing courage for a moment.
Seeing this, Sophie gently whispered in her ear, "Let’s go back first. Second Young Master will calm down soon."
Abigail was unwilling to move, knowing in her heart that things were not so simple.
Just at this moment, the drug’s effects resurfaced, making her body uncomfortable and her mind more muddled. Sophie forcibly led her out of the room.
Just as they exited, they saw a wave of people coming out of the fire escape, all classmates celebrating today.
Pullan’s voice was urgent. "Second Young Master, the reporters were blocked, but the classmates of the Madam somehow got the news and all came up."
Abigail’s face looked even worse.
Brandon’s amber eyes turned stormy with anger. "Are you a useless piece of shit? Block them."
Pullan was so startled by the scolding that he trembled. He just hurriedly tried to block them.
Yet at this moment, a sharp female voice rang out from the crowd. "Abigail Green, did you sleep with Mr. Foster?"
Boom!
This sharp and abrupt question made the noisy crowd fall silent instantly.
Everyone looked over at Abigail Green, seeing her wrapped in an ill-fitting coat, pale-faced, and disheveled hair, looking like she had just had that kind of relationship with someone.
Lena Locke and Wilson Jasper didn’t know why their classmates suddenly headed up to the hotel, having heard Abigail’s name mentioned on the way, feeling curious. Seeing Sophie holding Abigail and Pullan trying to clear people out, coupled with Duncan Symons’s words, Lena’s mind went numb, and next moment, she charged at Duncan like a small cannonball, grabbing Duncan’s hair with surprising force.
"You bitch, how dare you talk nonsense!" She slapped Duncan’s face repeatedly with her small hand.
Duncan, not expecting Lena to attack her, screamed in pain and tried to break free to hit back.
But usually looking nerdy, Wilson pressed her down, not letting her hit Lena.
Though shy and delicate, Wilson was still a boy. With his intervention, Duncan could only take the beating.
Ralf and Master Hudson rushed to the front, blocking everyone along with Pullan’s people.
Davis Hudson, born into a good family and having some prestige at school, said, "You all can see. Our captain won the championship and offended someone, being set up like this. Fortunately, Sophie stepped in on time. No big trouble happened. Everyone, disperse."
"Exactly. Winning the Medical Skills Competition doesn’t deserve such viciousness. It’s terrifying. Getting bullied in the dorm, fought back, and was resented to this extent. Who dares to stand out now? Is this a university or a harem?" Ralf, currently chasing a palace drama, was infuriated and started cursing after Master Hudson finished speaking.
Shocked and stunned by Duncan’s earlier words, the crowd, who had been eyeing Abigail with contempt, now looked at Duncan being beaten down and connected the dots after hearing Master Hudson and Ralf.
"She always opposed Abigail. Thought it was merely classmates’ quarrel. Didn’t expect such malice. Terrifying. Glad I never offended her," whispered a frightened girl.
Another exclaimed, "She borrowed money from me last time. When I asked back, she called me stingy. Will she retaliate?"
"I heard she orchestrated the forum poll. No wonder she got so mad when she lost."
"Others from her group didn’t come. She usually clashes with Abigail yet showed up today. Frightening when closely thought."
"Scary."
And Lena kept wrestling with Duncan.
Preparing to intervene, Pullan noticed the fierceness of the girl and twitched at the corners of his mouth. "I’ll have the car send you all back to school. Please cooperate."
