Chapter 68: Elara Drottningu
Chapter 68: 68: Elara Drottningu
Zheng Ge was bewildered as the young appraiser demanded the cage be opened. "Your excellency, although the elves were all female, they were quite feisty and very hard to handle."
"I said, open the cage." Ash gawked at Zheng Ge menacingly. "Or, I will do it myself."
"No, please don’t, your excellency. This cage is specifically made to even withstand the strength of a Star Rank Beast. We-we won’t be able to afford another one if you break it."
"Then open the goddamn cage!"
"Y-yes! Right away!"
After he said that, Zheng Ge unlocked the formation array which protected and strengthened the steel.
As he entered the cage, Zhu Yan had his hand ready on the sword handle, just in case things went south. However, Ash gestured to Zhu Yan to rest assured.
On the other hand, the fourteen young elves were trembling on their feet, as he strode closer, they stepped back into the corner, except for one golden haired elf with an hourglass-shaped body. Her once beautiful long hair was now horrendously unkempt, and withered as her body was mana deprived.
She stood firmly before him, ignoring the fear that almost made her insane.
"Hecal!" Screamed the golden haired elf.
Ash, however, recognized the language right away. Though he only knew a little elvish language in his previous life,
he was convinced that elves originated from the same plane that he was reincarnated from. As for how they could get here, Ash was determined to unravel the mystery.
"Stodva." Ash reciprocated in elvish which evoke a genuine surprised face from the golden haired elf.
"You can speak my tongue?! Are you from the Althean Great Continent as well?" She replied in elvish.
"Yes. But I can speak elvish only a little bit. Please rest easy, I will get you out of here very soon."
"But, how—"
"It’s not important. Just, stay put and calm down. I will get you all out of here very soon."
"U-understood, my lord!"
"En." Ash simply nodded to her. "You may call me Xiao Hûo. And you are..."
"Elara Drottningu. At your service, my lord."
His eyes rounded wide as he heard her name. In the Althean Great Continent, Drottningu is not an elf’s surname, but a title that could only be borne by the Elf Queen!
"Your Majesty! Please refrain from calling me your lord. I am no one compared to your noble bloodline!"
"What is the use of my noble bloodline if everything I know has already been reduced into ashes."
"W-what happened to the Althean Great Continent?! And how did non-human races transmigrate to this realm in the first place?!"
Elara lowered her gaze as she recalled the harrowing moments of her home forest that was already engulfed in flame.
"The human’s kingdoms, led by the Hero, had ravaged our lands as they marched toward the Demon’s Kingdoms. However, the catastrophic battle between the Demon King and the Hero tore the very fabric of reality. Dimensional Rift appeared at any given chance all over the continent, swallowing every living being in the surrounding area. As we woke up, we were already in a different realm and our connection with mana had already been cut off entirely."
Ash sighed dejectedly. "Don’t worry. We will find a way to assimilate the Qi Energy into your body, and your followers as well."
"En! We will faithfully wait for you, Lord Xiao Hûo."
On the other hand, Zhou Rui and the others were utterly flabbergasted as they heard Ash conversing with the golden haired elf fluently. After a while, Ash concluded his conversation and left the cage, his eyes filled with fury walking toward Zheng Ge.
"H-how’s our goods, your excellency?" Zheng Ge stammered.
"No issues here. I will take them all, including the cage also."
"B-but, the cage is...."
"Is there a problem with that?!" Ash looked at Zheng Ge eyes from point blank range, intimidating him with his tremendous amount of Primordial Qi.
"There’s none, your excellency!" Zheng Ge said. "To which address would you wish your goods to be delivered to?"
"We will take care of our goods on our own." Ash replied curtly. "Zhu Yan, could you please inform Lady Yunxian that she will need to host these invited guests for a while? Also, prepare three carriages that are spacious enough to fit five ladies in each carriage."
"Consider it’s done, Young Lord!"
"En." Ash just simply nodded to that. He then turned to Zheng Ge who was giggling in glee just from imagining the amount of profits that he would get from this deal alone.
"As for your payment, your excellency, would you like to pay them in credits or cash? However, the fact that they were so expensive, I would like to suggest that you pay in credits instead. Of course, the interest rate will be very low! You won’t even notice it."
"Shut the fuck up, you old fox." Although Ash didn’t move a finger, Zheng Ge was terrified as the Primordial Qi burned hotter than before. "Do you really think I am not aware of your scheme?! Hmph! Like hell I would pay in cash."
Afterward, Ash chose one of the most valuable Immortal Herbs in his Storage Ring. Fifteen Epic Immortal Herbs rained down onto the table, and it made Zheng Ge drooled like an idiot!
Each of these items could be sold for 10,000 Tael of Gold Coins each! However, Ash immediately took them back into his storage ring, leaving only one Immortal Herb.
As the Chief Auctioneer in the City of Long River, Zheng Ge, of course, possessed the appraisal ability to read the items. But, he was only Gold Grade Appraiser, he couldn’t possibly read an item that is above Ultra-Rare items.
"Your excellency, what is this?" Zheng Ge was trembling as he pointed at the cucumber-like Immortal Herb.
Ash eyed the Immortal Herbs for a moment until the system identified it.
"Ah, now I remembered. It’s Jade Yang Qi Cucumber. Renowned for its tender Yang Qi and is very excellent for comforting lonely wives whose husbands are busy Cultivating or seeding another woman’s bed!"
