Both Yunxian and Elara were askew upon seeing his unusual behaviour.

"Training." Ash replied shortly.

"Training?! But, your next match is due in ten days! And how about your opponent? You have to study them as well, no?" Yunxian pouted her cheeks.

With that said, Ash took off, and soared to the sky. As he reached a certain altitude, he put off his robe, storing it inside the spatial ring and shifted into his Heavenly Phoenix form.

After a while, he was already so deep into the Western Wilderness and no human settlements could be seen as far as eyes could see.

He then confidently perched on a tree, trying to pinpoint his Tamed Beasts whereabouts. Before long, Shangguang’s cheerful voice rang in his mind once again.
