Chapter 1396 - 1396: Delicious Family Restaurant Food

"Are you serious?! There's no way someone ordered this much food! We do have all the ingredients I believe but won't they dine and dash like the other bastards?!"

I could hear a very grumpy chef inside the kitchen, and the girl just came back.

"Um, the chef and owner said that if you were really going to eat all of that, that you could… please pay it first?"

She walked away, and I noticed Nyx had already eaten all the bread and was hungry and bored.

"Sure, I'll bring that first, it shouldn't take more than a few minutes," the girl walked away.

After a few minutes, she brought a bowl full of fries, four more baskets of warm bread, and soda, wine, and beer for everyone.

"This should let us survive until the food is ready I suppose, though bread and potatoes? Not my favorite food…" Sighed Lucifer, taking a bite off the fluffy bread. "But this! This bread is so delicious! Why didn't I taste it earlier?! It's nothing like the hard stone bread from Yggdrasil! It's so fluffy and sweet!"

"I-Is that so? I'm glad you like the bread…" I laughed a bit. "I didn't expect the great dragon king to be obsessed over paltry bread though."

"I-I'm just hungry! And this will do until they bring me the big meat feast I desire!" He roared. "Nom, nom… And these fries are also fine… They're oily and salty, just good enough."

"Hmm, bleh," I noticed Partner was also trying the bread and the fries, but she didn't quite enjoy it as much. "Maybe with some meat it would be nice but alone? This is just bland and boring. I'll just drink wine."

"I wonder if they'll take a while for my order…" Emeraldine wondered, as she ate a little piece of bread while dipping it on the white sauce. "Hmm, this bread is indeed quite good! It's soft and fluffy. The food of this world has truly been quite the awakening compared to Yggdrasil, huh?"

"Yeah, I don't know if I'll be able to go back after eating this good," I joked around.

"I am quite interested in how their curry tastes like…" Said Nia. "Aren't you, son?"

"Yeah!" Celes nodded, as he ate fries.

"Don't eat too many, okay? unlike the girls your stomach is small and the same size as a human child, okay?" Nia asked.

"Ahh! I might have eaten too many…" Burped Celes. "Guuh…"

"Hah…" His mother facepalmed a bit. "Well, let's hope you'll be ready once the food comes."

We waited for around ten minutes before things started coming here, first was Emeraldine's salad, and then the pastas, then meat after meat, rice, more fries, the curry, and then the pizzas and other things.

At the end, the entire table was packed full of food and there was another table next to ours where even more food was being served for us all.

"Hnmm, this meat is something else!" Lucifer laughed. "It's so soft and delicious, well seasoned and cooked…! The sauces you've added are incredible too."

"I-I'm glad you like it…" the woman muttered, as she brought even more meat for him. "Phew! T-This should be it all! Please enjoy your food! If you can even finish it…"

She greatly underestimated our hunger. I quickly snacked on everything while we ate. Nyx was happily devouring pizza slices after pizza slices, then moved to fried rice, crispy chicken, steaks, and even a hamburger with chicken nuggies.

The dragons in specific were the most gluttonous, followed by Arachne and then Partner, they truly had endlessly wide stomachs that couldn't be normally satiated.

I also pigged out quite a lot and ate more than I thought I would, and after snacking on everything, I moved to the desserts, cheesecake, chocolate cake, red velvet cake, vanilla and chocolate pudding, and more.

Once we were done dinning, it was already the middle of the night, and we had to quickly make our way back to our separate homes… Unfortunately, no matter how much we drank, we could never get drunk, our bodies are just really damn tough I guess.

"Phew, that was really good! Thanks for the meal~!" Partner said after having stuffed herself eating all the grilled meat she wanted.

"Yeah, it was a fine dinner," Lucifer nodded. "Compliments to the chef."

"The curry was really good! Thank you!" Nia said, carrying her boy in her arms, who had already fallen asleep.

"Yeah, thank you! We'll definitely come back!" I said, as I carried Nyx, who was fast asleep in my arms too… And Arachne as well.

"Y-Yeah… do come again…" the girl that helped us out this entire time waved her hand nervously, there was a lot of dishwashing to be done I suppose.

A lot happened today, but it was nice that we ended the day eating good and with my family.
