The arrival of Wendy dissipated the cloud overshadowing Kiara, and the joy of childbirth almost made her forget the ordeal with Rico Clark. After naming her child, she fell asleep again and didn’t wake up until the next day.

She was happy that her milk had finally come in, and the little one got to taste her first drops of milk. Although it wasn’t quite enough, thankfully the baby’s appetite was still small, so it just barely sufficed. Mother Yuno was quite experienced in taking care of postpartum women. Several of her daughters-in-law had given birth, plus the eldest daughter-in-law was a gynecology specialist. Together with the Sister-in-law, they had devised a diet plan to ensure Kiara’s ongoing nutritional needs.

The little one sucked with all her might. Feeling tired after a while, she rested with closed eyes before continuing her meal.

Kiara watched her daughter with a heart full of joy.

Since her body was in good condition, Kiara didn’t feel too uncomfortable. After sleeping for a night, she was able to walk to the bathroom by herself the next day. Mario’s unit was rather busy, and he really couldn’t make time to stay with her, so he had to ask his mother and Kiara’s mother to watch over her during the day, and then he would come over at night.
